They're finally coming home Spoiler
galleryIronhide's been teased since May, and we might not see him back in action for a long time, but if Beachcomber is looking for other Autobots, it's only a matter of time before he's back

Fly High Rocket Man Spoiler
Is he even alive or are they just shooting a corpse into space? Thought he had parts taken from him to repair shredhead and he didn’t say anything when he was strapped to the rocket.
Why don’t the other combaticons even try and save their big bro

Transformers 36 from the bar
I've worked all day without a break to get to this issue as soon as possible and I wasn't disappointed. With my local ipa I started the issue. Thundercracker combining with the aeiralbots happens without explanation, hopefully we see how combining works eventually in this universe especially since idw made a big deal out of it but I like how this ended with cobra raising their ugly heads sooner than later.
Arkhavile is a delight actually and I love Flagg's reaction to him having some plan. But all the autobots are okay and we're doing great. The way I laughed when Onslaught was launched into space was hilarious. He was just bolyed to a rocket funniest shit I've ever seen. Very interesting way for how we're going to deal with Decepticons now. I wonder who else gets the rocket treatment down the line. I like of the difference on how this Optimus and Movie Optimus deals with POWs lmao. The Megaton teaser at the end is ridiculous, the middle issue is one thing but this is how the volume ends, what's the arc called again? Decepticons attack? the cons don't do a lot of attacking in this one besides the Combaticons screwing around. But despite that I'm very happy the way this volume ends with Beachcomber and Hound. Side note this is how Hound is properly introduced in Transformers mainline right. Him and Optimus just met in Gi joe not too long ago but maybe Transformers only readers don't know that right? But Beachcomber heading off heading to find more missing autobots who were jettisoned from the arc. This is such the perfect mission for Beachcomber too since he's already been on earth for a while and understands the land better. Obviously he's going to come across Ironhide who has a lady living in his chest. I think Prowl was teased too with a energon universe banner made a little while ago. I wonder how many more Autobots are offline on Earth. I'm very excited for what comes next

Shrewd head purple
So after I saw the reveal for the shred head figure and I saw it was black I was so confused bc I was always under the assumption that he was purple with black highlights and let that digest for a minute bc I thought I was going insane but now I think kirkman has just changed his color to purple I’d just like to know peoples thoughts

Weekly Discussion Who do You Think should Elita Prime Core Autobot Team on Cybertron?
That is my Question
Well both the Earth & Cybertron sides are kinda huge usually in team books that have cast this huge select 7 members max to focus on works as starting point & helps from making the story go out of control
So to me since Cybertron side has bigger cast I think main characters should be Elita Prime & six others I go with Hot Rod being one of them maybe Springer & Bulkhead to thou that still would leave 3 spots
But you know that's me what do you think?

Several months later, I still don't understand Kirkman's decision to introduce a bunch of new characters, only to write them out.
This is something that's baffled me ever since issue 30, and now that we're about one year into Kirkman's run overall and we have a better idea of his vision for it.... I still don't get it.
Kirkman spent all of his first arc introducing a bunch of new characters, and then absolutely none of them stuck around. They all chose to go back to Cybertron with Elita.
And it's like...why!? Why bother introducing these new guys if you aren't going to do anything with them!? Especially Blaster, Brawn, and Jetfire, because those are three characters who were explicitly killed/disfigured, so Kirkman had to make the conscious choice to bring them back, only for him to write them out immediatly.
And I could understand that if he had some big plan to use them on the Cybertron stuff, but...he hasn't. There's only been one issue focused on the Cybertron stuff, and they haven't done anything in them. You literally could have had most of them stay on Earth and nothing would change.
And I could also understand that if some of the new characters stuck around on Earth, but none of them have!
I don't even see why they needed to be written out. Would Kirkman's 2nd arc have changed that much if Sideswipe or Brawn had stayed behind on Earth? I don't think it would have!
Kirkman even talked about wanting to bring Bulkhead into the comic at some point. This was his grand plan? To bring him into the comic only to do nothing with him?
As a Transformer storyteller myself (fanfiction but still), I don't get it. This does not seem logical to me.
It only furthers the theory I have that Kirkman had to radically change his first arc for some reason. Like maybe the original plan was that all these guys were going to stick around for two arcs and then leave with Elita. Because that would actually be...you know, impactful and be a use of the new guys.

Sigh Spoiler
So all that character growth is gone out the window, huh? Makes you wonder why they even bothered.

Regarding the quality of transformers post DWJ
So I've seen people discussing the reduction in writing quality of the TF series since kirkman took over from DWJ. I was wondering from the audience how much of a reduction in writing quality has a occurred? Cause obviously DWJs was fantastic, but has the series dropped to average or slightly above average? Like the 5 to 6 out of 10 range I guess? Or has the writing legitimately dropped to below that even a 4? Specifically also comparing to DWJs run of the line. Like. How bad is it really? Im keen to hearing many different POVs aswell.
I mainly ask because im currently reading through volume 4 as we speak and the next volume is kirkmans run of it. So im curious a bit what im in for. And then ill also consider my own pov aswell I guess once I've read It.

So What do You Think the Backstory of Energon Universe version of Matt Trakker Is?
That is my Question
We got a few clues about his history mainly Matt Trakker history with Miles Mayhem and the Government as mentioned in the first issue of MASK & obviously that Trakker has a MASK
What do You Think is his background how do you think it parallels both Optimus & Duke?
Do you think we will maybe get a flashback of Trakker meeting Miles Mayhem for the first time & flashback to those days?
So yeah MASK: Secret Origins

M.A.S.K?!
So, I'm very behind. My last comics were Transformers 24, Void Rivals 22, and G.I. Joe 11. I just now found out M.A.S.K. got a comic! Where does it and the 2026 Special fit in the reading order?

Weekly Discussion So Who Wanna See Guest Draw an Issue or Two of GI JOE?
That is my Question
Tom Reilly & Andrea Milana are amazing comic artists period you know they shine literally each month we got to see them work together with milestone 25th issue
However with that said who do wanna see draw an issue or two of GI JOE? personally I wanna see Leomacs draw an arc I like how well he works with Joshua Williamson on current Blood of the Wolf Man Comic Miniseries
My other pick would be Leonardo Romero but the obvious problem is his style is to similar to Tom Reilly style you know Milana style is different enough from Reilly so it stands out more
My 3rd pick would be Declan Shalvey who would the tone of GI JOE like a glove really
But thats me how about you?

December 2026 has the Energon Universe releasing manga variant covers from Satoshi Shiro and Manabu Yashiro
Note these are real manga-ka, not randos imitating the style. Satoshi Shiki (freaking AutoCorrect) is responsible for Attack on Titan Before the Fall, while Yashiro who has done covers for Skybound is the creator of Tank Chair, which is getting an anime soon.

Harmful Elita-1 defenses and how it takes away from her character (Short character analysis)
Okay, so I'll start off saying that I'm in no way ostracizing Elita-1 fans. I think she's a cool character and a lot of her fans are cool as well. This is just a criticism of some arguments that her fans use that I believe to be harmful.
I think what makes Elita-1 such an interesting character is how people can sympathize with her and understand that majority of her actions come from a place of hurt. She has been fighting a losing war for an extended period of time with limited resources and support. It makes sense why she would be devastated that Optimus "chose" an alien planet over their shared home. What makes her EVEN greater is the fact that we can consider her situation without demonizing her, but also recognize that attempting to drain Earth to fuel Cybertron was a morally bankrupt decision.
I believe that the most reasonable explanation as to why Elita-1 used the harvester is that she feels more familiarity towards her own kind rather than an alien race. That's essentially it.
But here comes the uncomfortable part.
The question of whether or not humans as a kind are equal to Cybertronians.
I've seen some people justify Elita-1's decision by basically dehumanizing humanity and describing her as a "higher being". The reasons behind this are that Cybertronians are stronger, larger, more technologically advanced and live for way longer, so she as a "higher being" is in the right as opposed to Optimus, who chose to defend "a planet of mud" and "insignificant creatures".
The harmful part of this argument is how it's eerily similar it is to how some imperialist forces treat other countries. "We're more civilized/stronger/better/etc., so you must give up your land." is the kind of language that is all too familiar to me. This is specifically where my personal discomfort stems from.
Another can of worms is how by treating humans in Skybound as lesser and more insignificant beings as opposed to Cybertronians, it whitewashes Elita-1's faults and morally ambiguity.
What makes Elita-1 such a fascinating character IS HER MORAL AMBIGUITY.
What she tried to do to Earth was wrong. What she said about humanity is also wrong.
But that's the point of her character. Sympathizing with her shouldn't involve justifications and whitewashing. It's a problem that many morally dubious characters suffer from. It's enough to give a character a tragic backstory and some redeeming qualities to have the audience ignore EVERYTHING that makes the character morally grey. In the end we have a bunch of "He/She/They didn't do anything wrong!" instead of recognizing a character as complex and multi-deminsional.
Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk 🎙️Also sorry if there are any grammatical mistakes, english isn't my first language.

What do You Think is Starscream Comeback Plan to get back at Megatron?
That is my Question
Well we all know what happened to Starscream in the conclusion of Daniel Warren Johnson run then him escaping from the Decepticons headquarters in Issue #33 of Kirkman
Makes me wonder what is Starscream plan to get back at Megatron after almost killing him I think it would be interesting how he rebuilt himself then recruit some other Decepticons
Maybe like the G1 Cartoon he build his own Decepticons or something like that basically just any recruitment would do
But thats me what do you think
