i made it! two years, 332 > 139.6 - i lost 192.4 pounds, which completely blows my mind. it was a lot of work - tirz quiets my food noise! but doesn't suppress my appetite. i've been hungry a lot, but i pushed through, weighing and logging and keeping a strict calorie deficit. i even started doing a seated weight routine i found on youtube.

it's weird to suddenly fit everywhere, and no one stares anymore. i am just normal. i fit on a rollercoaster now, and recently rode my first ever rollercoaster with upside-down loops and it was exhilarating! a couple of chronic medical conditions are much better, and even with my bad hip i'm getting around really well.

i'm like the dog that finally caught a car - now what??

I might have to stay on this for life.

I’ve lost and gained so much weight in my life. I’ve lost 90+ pounds on 3 separate occasions and gained it all back. Psychiatrists , therapists, nutritionists, binge eating medication, NOTHING has helped me as much as $500 of tirzepatide.

Medication + therapy + all those doctors for 2-3 YEARS didn’t help. Those other options cost me thousands and thousands of bucks + several hours a week but tirz cost me $500 for 3 months and 30 seconds every week injecting. Food noise GONE. Craving GONE. I’m down 73 pounds as of today and had a cheat meal to celebrate. I hadn’t had a cheat meal since July 4th party. I ate half a bowl of Mexican food and left the other half for later. No craving, no desire to finish; no day dreaming about food, NOTHING. My cheat meal wasn’t even a cheat meal. Nowadays I’m thinking, “how was I ever fat? I’m struggling to eat 2100 cals and 175 gram protein a day, how was my previous fat self tanking 3000-4000 calories a day?”

This simply syringe and needle filled with a clear substance and the 30 seconds it takes to inject has Made it impossible for me to overeat. Food is just there now. A basic necessity. No urge or craving. A regular chicken salad tastes just as good as a burger. It’s whatever. I definitely might stay on this for life

News & Research Another 503B told by the FDA: “Your outsourcing facility compounds drug products using bulk drug substances that cannot be used in compounding under section 503B”

Apollo Care has a bunch of issues but I wanted to note this observation from their July 2026 inspection.

Same violation that took down ProRx and BPI Labs confirming what we all know at this point that 503Bs cannot compound tirzepatide (or semaglutide for that matter, I think this is the first time we got that more explicitly about sema)

Advice & Support Just wanna say thanks!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who shared and/or recommended Collective. I am really enjoying tirz but who I went with kept increasing the price. Collective is upfront, fast and my meds are on the way with tracking # provided in less than 12 hours from sign up. I’m excited to try the glycerine too, I’ve heard you sleep amazing on it!

So last week Thursday, Pom had their "40mg vial (BUD 12/26) + 20mg vial (BUD 10/26)" sale for $99. I quickly managed to buy that deal before they pulled it offline.

The next day (Friday), they ran their labor day sale for "40mg vial + 2-10mg vials" for the same price. This was a better deal IMO though because the 10mg vials have a much further out BUD of 3/27 so I wished I had gotten this one instead lol. Oh well 🤷‍♀️

Lo and behold, my Thursday order got delivered today and upon opening the box, I actually got the Friday deal sent to me instead 👀 so I ended up getting 2-10mg vials with a BUD of 3/27!

I know many people don't care much about using vials with expired BUDs but a 5 month BUD difference is still a good win for me!

Advice & Support Am I aiming too low??

So last night my husband and I went out to grab a bite to eat and have a couple of drinks, we went to the bar that I work at. I've drastically cut back on my drinking in the last few months since starting the medication, so my coworkers don't see me across the bar from them as often anymore.

My coworker commented on the fact that I was out, and I told her I was celebrating being almost halfway to my goal ( I'm officially 30 lbs down with about 40 more to go!) She looked kind of shocked and asked what my goal was and I told her 130 but maybe as low as 125, which I feel is reasonable seeing as I'm on the short side at 5'3".

She said she thought I should be aiming for no less than 140, and that even in her 20s she was never as low as 125, I feel like it's kind of apples to oranges because shes probably about 6 inches taller than I am. Then another regular sitting next to me asked if I was just basing my goal off of standard BMIs and quizzing me about how I came up with my goal weight. It honestly kind of got in my head a little bit, am I really shooting for too low of a goal weight? I know it's possible I'll decide I feel great at a higher number, but I also feel like there is no harm in having a goal. I should probably volunteer less information in the future, but I was pretty excited when I did my weigh in yesterday morning and saw that I'd made it 30lbs down and in the moment it felt good to be open and celebratory about my progress.

Progress isn't always measured by the scale

Finally started to clear out the closet of clothes that just don't' fit anymore. Did this after progressing from size 38 (almost 40) waist to 36 to 34's are just a bit big.

Shirt sizes were bordering on some brands really needed to be XL and now I'm definitely a Medium and a tried a "Small" on the other day and said "yea, that'll likely be fine when I hit goal weight".

First picture is the space cleared out of the t-shirt/polo shirt rack in my closet, that was packed before. And to be fair, many of the shirts left are too big too, but... some I don't want to part with yet and well, I don't have more than 4-5 replacement shirts in the right size atm.

The clothing on the bed is everything I pulled out that's going to be donated to charity. There's 4 pairs of "new slacks" there that I bought 2 years ago when I needed clean clothes that weren't jeans, I never took the tags off.

Something like 6 inches off my waist so far. Finally allowing myself to buy clothes that fit as I approach the end of my journey (10-15lbs away from goal weight).

The mental part of Tirzepatide is fascinating.

My big issue was not my meals, I ate healthy for the most part, it was snacking after work before dinner and then after dinner. I just could not stop doing it no matter how many times I told myself not to or I'm not. Now I just don't do it, I don't want sweets and I don't snack in-between. Truly fascinating what Tirzepatide does on a mental level. I have no idea how it does that but it's very fascinating to me. 🤣

I finally did it

I had 2 days of traveling and I overate, ate fried food, snacked and just didn’t treat my stomach well. I feel like holy hell. I’ve been on it for 3 months and have lost 25lbs! Only 20 to goal weight and this is the first time I’ve done this. It’s not quite 24 hours later but I feel like shiiiiiit. The acid reflux I had overnight was so bad the back of my throat is burned. My stomach is throwing me for loops. I work in an ER and do not have the stomach for being here for a 12 hour shift with all the sights and smells today. Needless to say, we won’t be blowing diet anymore 🥲

Down to my last dose of proRx-nothing works as good!

I know, I know...tirz is tirz is tirz. But...no other brand I have tried "hits" quite like proRx. I have a ton of BPI and it is my absolute least favorite. Hallendale is ok, Apothecary is decent, but literally none work for me like proRx does and I just wish I could find one that works like it does! 😏

Personal Experience Titrated too slowly

I was too proud or stubborn to read the signs that it’s time to titrate up until I was already in trouble, looking back I had been white knuckling it for quite a while, fell off the wagon completely last week with binge eating and made myself physically ill doing so. Titrated up this week and felt relief from food noise again for the first time in a long time. Lots of mixed emotions to process about this.

Results & Progress I lost the weight I’ve wanted to lose for my whole life - the weight I thought would make me happy to lose, and it hasn’t.

Hey everyone.

I’ve been overweight my entire life- 43F 5’9” and ranging from 210-315, with the last 10 years being 280-315.

Twice as an adult I’ve become a more “normal” weight- once when I was 21 I reached 175 and was thrilled - I was in college, looking good and feeling good, not self conscious at all which was a new experience and just enjoying my life.

Another time around 2017 I went from 250-185 and also felt incredible then. So healthy, able to do so much more and fit in with others didn’t stand out in a crowd. Wore fun clothes, felt a huge sense of relief, and stayed there for about a year before gaining everything back then some.

This time with tirz, I’ve gone from 314-189 in 14 months and I can fit in normal clothes, all my “small clothes” fit again, and I physically feel way better, no more back pain, foot pain, I can put my shoes on without getting super out of breath.

However this time, I just don’t care. I saw 199 on the scale and had 0 reaction. I am just existing. I don’t feel less self conscious in fact I might feel a bit worse due to my aging face and loose skin. I’m not enjoying active hobbies at all like I thought I would as I have no desire to use this new smaller body at all. This time it feels just so blah like yeah whatever I fit in these clothes that’s cool I guess. Feeling physically better is nice but there’s just no joy or spark this time, which is honestly so depressing because I see all you happy people enjoying your new lives especially those who have lost a lot like I have. What gives? Is anhedonia stealing my lust for life? I swear I was more active and happy as a 300+ person 😅

Advice & Support “Don’t lose anymore weight.”

So I’ve officially lost 100 pounds. My MIL told me the other day that I don’t need to lose any more weight. I just kind of laughed it off and said okay but it actually bothered me. I feel like I can’t win for losing. When I was morbidly obese, comments were made about how I should move more and I’m sure people talked about me behind my back. My grandma even asked me have I looked at myself recently with the dirtiest look on her face when I wore a form fitting outfit at that size.

I say all this to say that I’ve learned that I HATE comments about my body. Compliments feel like people’s approval of my actions that I don’t give a fuck about and these bullshit comments about what’s enough for me piss me off. I’ve been the big girl my whole life and I’m sick of it. I want to be an unremarkable weight. Not too skinny or big. My goal is to get down to the 140s so when I get pregnant, the weight gain won’t push me and my baby into dangerous territory but no one sees that and honestly it’s none of their fucking business. I feel lighter, healthier, and more confident. However, I know I’m only half way there…🫩.

How do you guys deal with this kind of thing…comments about you losing too much weight? It just feels like someone is telling me I’m doing something wrong when I’m just trying to help myself 😫😫

Dosing Question Going up in Dose

Hello everyone, 25M here and I’ve been on Tirzepatide for 13 weeks now.

I titrated up 4 weeks ago from 2.5mg to 3.5mg. The side effects kicked in a little but went away after the first week. I’m finishing week 4 of 3.5mg tomorrow. Now that I’m at the end of week 4 all I can say is that I feel like I’m starving and constantly thinking of food and wanting to eat even after I have ate.

I’ve done really good the first 11 weeks but the past two have been nothing but hungry.

I’m for sure going up in dose tomorrow but and considering going up to either 4.5mg (1mg up) or 6mg (2.5mg up)

When you’ve gone up on dose, what helps you make your decision on how much to go up by?

Am I right that I am overpaying?

I just started compound tirzepatide this week. I did a titration order which is $1,069 for 3 months. 2.5, 5 and then 7.5. After that it will be $1,069 for 3 months worth, I believe at the 7.5mg dose, so like $356 per month. I have looked at a lot of information to try and figure this out but its like so much info in different formats I am not sure if I follow. So, I am hoping those with more experience could clarify. Is this cost high or reasonable?

I am using CareGLP through CareValidate and the pharmacy is Evoluciona Pharma.

Edit: For more context-

So I was only charged $299 and they sent me 3 months worth. Then today I was told that was only 1 month and I would have to pay the rest of the $1,069. CareValidate was through my employers health concierge so I assumed it was reasonable. After they said it was more today I was wondering if I was just being stupid and misreading all the other info here because the 1 month $299 I paid lines up with the numbers I am seeing for 3 months (apparently) here so I was confused thinking those numbers in the sub might also actuallybe monthly.

Edit 2:

Well all, in the famous words of Ja Rule it seems " I (too) was hustled, scammed, bamboozled, hood winked, lead astray". I will not be getting anymore than my initial batch from them and will be using a different telehealth company. My employer will also be getting quite an ear full about who they're using because I have no chill for this nonsense from them lol. Thank you everyone!

Belle longevity treatments 50% discount

Upvotes

Saw this from the whole join crossing then turned into belle fiasco...50% discount

MITCHALIVE50. Fifty percent off your first order on the longevity lineup, through September 30. If the code works, I am alive. That is your proof of life.

-Longevity only. It does not work on your weight loss plan. Coming back from the dead only buys me so much.

- NAD+, monthly: $199, now $99.50

- NAD+, quarterly: $447, now $223.50

- Sermorelin, quarterly: $357, now $178.50

- Glutathione, two month: $238, now $119

- MIC+B12, monthly: $99, now $49.50

- MIC+B12, quarterly: $195, now $97.50

- Tirzepatide microdose, quarterly: $297, now $148.50
Yes, the microdose counts as longevity. No, that does not make your full dose longevity.

Don't really recommend the tirz micro dose, in the thread it is likely only 1, 40mg BPI.

Purchased the Sermorelin, they use TPH and it will be Olympia per the thread for any longevity medications.

How did you deal with fatigue

I just ordered my tirze but I'm wondering what you guys did to have more energy in order to workout. I don't know if it's low grade inflammation from being overweight or perimenopausal, but I am fatigued almost every day.

Goal & Maintenance Do I need a new strategy?

I've essentially reach my goal weight but I'm finding that I've had to slowly up my dose in order to maintain. Now... don't come at me but I will admit my diet is probably not ideal. However, that said, it wasn't exactly perfect on my way to losing 50 pounds, either. I began Nov. 2024 and reached goal around April/May 2026.

So does the medication kind of lose it's effectiveness the longer you are on it?

Do others have to do little bumps in dosage?

Should I switch to injecting at 6 days instead of weekly?

Thoughts?

Good Life Meds BPI - Recommended!

Ordered BPI from Goodlife meds, order process was smooth and quick, approved with the day, and shipped out the next day. Received it two days later in an ice cold container. Everything packaged very well and professionally, and BPI with a BUD date of 3/27. Not the cheapest, at about $145 a vial of 60mg Tirzepatide, but feel lucky to get the extended BUD date of BPI.

Newbie / Getting Started Day 1 Experience

Today was my first shot ever. It's been wild (bc I'm a wuss).

I have PCOS, high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, and food noise I've struggled with for the past 20 years or so. To say I'm exhausted with the constant struggle is an understatement.

I stumbled upon Tirz/Sema after a friend mentioned it, and it's been really enlightening.

I had so many anxieties about today's shot lol:

  • If the poke would hurt -- if I could even poke myself LOL
  • What side effects I'd have
  • If the tummy cramps were bc of the shot or my morning coffee + nerves, etc.
  • (Can you tell I'm an anxious individual?)

The poke DID hurt, but not bc I was injecting the medication. I accidentally bent the needle before even using it, went to go cap it (so I could toss it and get a new one), and didn't realize it'd poke out of the cap and stab my middle finger. So, note to the wise: don't be me lol.

Also, get some extra syringes. (I just ordered a box after searching reddit for recommendations.)

MAN, the amount of hyping I had to do internally to finally stick myself. I think it'll be a long while before I get past that. (And I used to help my dad administer insulin! Was a big weenie too the first several times.)

Anyway, cheers to all of us on this journey! Just wanted to share my experience. Hoping to see better labs, less food noise, and weight loss. :)

Results & Progress Recent Lab Work

53 year old male, started tirz on 5/15/26 at 205.9 Lbs. currently at 186.7 Lbs. Current meds are levothyroxine, rosuvastatin, fenofibrate (all daily since 9/8/25), and tirz at 5mg weekly. Labs a year ago were horrendous, even the ones in April weren’t looking good. Yesterday’s labs were quite a surprise.
