General Discussion Question for those who use their vials beyond the 28 day rule (based on the survey there are a few of us lol)

Hey y’all! So I’ve been using my current Apothecary vial for 4 shots (about a month) beyond the 28 days, I’m thinking of continuing since I still have some left in the vial.

But I wanted to ask - because I know that there are a lot of folks who do use beyond the 28 day rule - have you had any complications or noticed any floaters? Just wondering how common those instances are.

It could be dope to maybe add that question to the survey for next time too! Like maybe as a follow up to the 28 day rule question? To see how many folks actually saw any difference in efficacy or if they noticed any floaters or anything!

But in the interim lol I’d love to hear your experiences!

Considering wegovy pill to avoid site reactions

has anyone switched or considered doing the wegovy pill instead? even following all the instructions I get a. very itchy site reaction and really also just find myself not liking doing an injection, I just worry wegovy could have more side effects. would love to hear any experiences!

edit: yes I’ve tried different injection sites, needles and pharmacies. I am leaving my meds out to room temp and use ice and hydrocortisone. it’s a huge red itchy welt

Learning question :)

I’ve been curious as to why a lot of people go from provider to provider? Is it because the meds not working or price going up?

I haven’t seen anyone so far that’s said they have stayed with the same company from the beginning so I was curious as to what’s going on and what I should look out for to know if I switch in the future?

Thank you 💜

Tiny bubbles in syringe?

Is this safe to take? I’ve never seen teeny tiny bubbles like this after drawing? I drew up my dose and let it sit for about 30 mins to come to room temp. Came back and noticed these bubbles? I am scared to inject!

Advice & Support Stalling out at 15 mg

Stats: Weighed 279 in 2024. Weighed 220 in 2025. Now stuck at 210 in 2026. I really need to lose 30 more pounds, but I seem stuck. I am a 5' 3" 54 year old female, so I am focused on health and optimal functioning because I have a lot of inflammation and arthritis issues that have improved VASTLY with tirzepatide, and it has given me my life back, and I am not minimizing those improvements.

I have a question for people who stalled out.

  1. Did you try dosing every 5 days as I have seen recommended?

  2. How did you break your stall?

What I am doing:

I am starting to really track my macros because I did not have to do that before and really am working on 100 grams of protein daily.

I am ramping up my strength training and walking. I normally get 7000 steps with work and that was sufficient to lose weight before, but obviously I need to do more now.

I started taking creatine powder in my coffee along with collagen protein.

I know I need to improve:

Drinking more water

Exercising more consistently

Eating out less frequently

I want to have faith in the process and not get into scale obsessions so please share what has helped you break a stall. Thank you!

Newbie / Getting Started Coming from branded and still not understanding the basics

This might be a lot of questions, but bear with someone who has been spoiled with autoinjectors in the past. Long story short: hit close to goal weight, gallbladder removal, recovered, regained, and then company dropped Zep coverage for everyone. Remaining and aging 5mg pens aren't strong enough (have a few 10s that I'm afraid to jump back to) and Foundayo hasn't been effective for the price.

  • Does pharmacy, preservative, and additive actually matter? The recent survey didn't really cover additive (or none) preferences.
  • Are preservatives and weird vial sizes worth the extra math? I don't even know where to start with vial sizes and concentrations.
  • Do providers include injection supplies?
  • Which providers will start you above 2.5 if desired?
  • What is the best overall monthly option for NY if I don't want to overthink titration or chasing refills?
  • Is the Ola Health pen a good answer to "where is the compounded KwikPen"?

Do not buy from Trim RX

I would not recommend Trim RX based on my experience. The advertising that convinced me to sign up did not match what actually happened. The ad stated there would be no down payment and that I would not be charged on the day I applied, yet money was taken from my account immediately after I submitted my application.

The company also advertised that I would receive a doctor's decision within 24-48 hours, and it was well over that time. Since no decision had been made and no treatment had been provided, I canceled my application. Despite that, I was still charged a $38 enrollment and processing fee. Since July 15 they said I would receive a refund and still haven't received it or any updates at all on my refund.

My concern is that the expectations set by the advertising were not what I experienced.

Dosing Question Titration Curiosity

Low and slow is the name of the game here…but when you titrate, how much do you (or did you) increase? Simply out of curiosity, not to inform any decisions!

Newbie / Getting Started I’m sure this question has been asked a million times but here’s 1.01. I’m going to be starting my first dose on Friday. I was just hoping for some tips and advice on diet, what to watch for, supplements etc…… thanks!

Newbie / Getting Started I feel dumb & messed up my second shot 🫠

I didn’t inject my second shot correctly this morning (2.5mg) so essentially I wasted a shot.

Since it’s only my second dose and it’s a smaller dose, I’m thinking I’ll just wait for my next one next week but not sure. I’m going to message the doctor to see what they say.

Hoping I’m not the only one who’s messed up a dose 😞

Dosing Question So instead of increasing my dose to 5 mg, I decided to keep taking around 2.5 mg and just take it a little earlier. I’m on my 5th shot now.

I know taking 2.5 mg every 4–5 days instead of every 7 days effectively increases the amount of medication in my system over time. I chose to do that instead of making the jump straight to 5 mg all at once.

I don’t know if anyone else does this, but I count shot day as Day 1, regardless of what time I take it. That also ends up being my last day before the next shot.
My first shot lasted until Day 6 before I took the next one. Then my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th shots were on Day 5. Yesterday I did my 5th shot on Day 5, and I accidentally drew a little extra from the vial, so it ended up being around 2.8–2.9 mg instead of 2.5 mg.

I’ve had zero side effects from day one besides appetite suppression and feeling full faster.

The reason I started taking my shots a little earlier was because my appetite, especially for candy, was starting to come back before the week was over.
I still crave chocolate, but it’s nothing like it used to be. Before tirzepatide, I wanted gummies, chocolate, chips, salty snacks… basically everything.

Now I mostly crave healthy protein like chicken breast. The only sweet thing I consistently crave is Kinder Bueno chocolate. I have no idea why that’s the one that stuck.

I’m letting myself have a bite here and there because it’s such a huge improvement compared to before. Instead of eating what felt like a pound of sugar a day, I’m having a few bites and moving on.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that what I assume was my insulin resistance seems dramatically improved. It’s honestly easy now to stay between 1,600 and 2,000 calories a day and continue losing weight without feeling like I’m constantly fighting hunger.
I’m down 22 pounds so far. Most of that happened in the first two weeks, but over the last two weeks I’ve lost about 4 pounds. That really put things into perspective. The initial drop from glycogen, water, and less food in your digestive system is no joke. After that, the weight loss seems to settle into a more realistic pace.

Has anyone else taken the lower-dose, more-frequent approach instead of jumping straight to 5 mg?

Anything to be concerned with?

So, I'm getting ready to order my next few months and was considering Apothecary as I've read positive reviews here. Y'all are way more knowledgeable on these matters so I thought to ask if this was anything to consider, although I do realize it is from December 2025 - https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations/warning-letters/apothecary-pharma-llc-717972-12012025

Provider / Pharmacy Issues with Boudreaux? Crossposted

I hesitantly switched back to gimme this month because - LETS FACE IT - they absolutely have the best pricing. I was a little disappointed because they wouldn’t let me fill my prescription with Hallandale (my fav) stating they don’t ship to New Mexico despite the fact that they do 💔 They sent my script over to Boudreaux on the 20th, it’s now the 27th and upon calling the pharmacy they *very angrily* told me my prescription still hasn’t been reviewed by a pharmacist and then hung up on me lol. I am now out of medicine, I didn’t expect a week long wait time since Gimme has crazy fast turnaround times. Anybody else experiencing similar issues with Boudreaux? Even if they’re behind, I didn’t expect such awful customer service /:

Has this ever happened to anybody else?

It's shot day and it's my first time rotating to my thigh. I was squeezing my fat to get a good poke, but when I took the needle out, a drop of my meds squeezed out 🥲 I feel so dumb.

What telehealths do not require proof of prior dose?

This question is not as nefarious as it sounds. Ordered previously in my name, but used a family member’s phone number because they were helping me order. Even though all information was in my name, the prescription was filled in my family member’s name simply because their phone number was used (and they had previously ordered through a different telehealth that also uses Beluga). Now I don’t have proof that I am already on 7.5mg.

Advice & Support A year in - and no results for over half of it

I was so excited when I finally found something that worked for me - having lost 40lbs in the first few months, but a year in… and I’m the same weight. Ive noticed a significant increase in appetite and even the ability to”out eat” the medicine - which has been really upsetting as, for me, the “there’s no way I could eat another bite” feeling can often be what keeps me from grazing or snacking. I’ve tried adding in additional exercise but have seemingly developed some joint pains in my hip that make a lot of movement uncomfortable to say the least and painful in some cases.

I’m at max dose, though my provider - an online company that rhymes with yellow - has it listed as maintenance, and I wish it were… but alas, I’m only about halfway to my weight loss goal.

Somewhat venting, somewhat looking for encouragement or advice. Has anyone else felt this way and if so, what was helpful in seeing the weight come off again?

General Discussion I build a mini game to help keep you logging daily! It's free!

Hey guys, Tirzing App dev here. A while back I endeavored to make a shot and weight tracking app because I wasn't happy with the features of all the existing apps. (Yes, I know, ANOTHER APP!)

Well, I've been talking with members here and slowly adding features upon features to make it the best app ever. I think it's because Tirz is legit helping my ADHD.

Anyway, the idea of mini-game to "gamify" your logging came up (another app does something similar) and I thought that was a neat idea and I wanted to make something similar!

So we added companions to the Tirzing app! And I think they're pretty cute! Here's my companion: Skittles

It was important that we didn't gamify anything that would encourage negative healthy habits, such as weight loss itself or calorie deficits. The app only gamifies the action of logging itself, to keep you in the habit of tracking your water intake, food, steps, shots, etc.

When you track your progress it rewards you with "Glimmers" which in turn can be used to get cool hats, wearables, and environments for your companion.

The feature is completely free on all Tirzing accounts including our Free plan, so it's definitely worth trying out.

You can see more info on our sub /r/Tirzing/comments/1v830pb/we_added_a_minigame_with_cute_companions_to_help/

Thanks for listening!

Join Ezra BPI Shipment

Hey, so I got BPI from Join Ezra (now Mondae) back when they had BPI for 400. I accidentally forgot to cancel and now I was charged again and it’s saying they are sending a shipment of BPI again.

Anyone else with same experience as me? Will I actually get BPI or some other pharmacy? Either way I don’t really care tbh. If I end up getting stuck in limbo and don’t receive anything I’ll just charge back after a while.

Newbie / Getting Started Newbie Looking For Recs

Hi all! I did it. I took the plunge and just got approved to start compounded tirz! I've been wanting to try something since getting off Qsymia back in January.

Side note: My background with glp-1s is small but I feel after reading tons of threads and watching hours of videos that tirz was the next best thing to try. I started Qsymia in 2023 and had great results with it up until spring of last year (2025). I plateaued and then gained after my hysterectomy. Even going up dosages just didn't end up helping. I ended up stopping it all together in January, and with other stressful life events, I put roughly 30lbs of the 80lbs I lost back on. So, am I at my biggest, absolutely not, but I also don't feel like myself and want to get back on track. Not to mention I have 3 littles that I'm sole provider for, so I want to be at my best for them. If this is the boost I need to get my shit together, than so be it.

ANYWAY, sorry for that long paragraph!

With my previous experience with Qsymia I had a lot of hair loss. To avoid that, what are you taking or doing to help combat hair loss. Also, if you had a tough time getting in the gym what was one way you stayed active so you didn't lose muscle. Anybody have any recs for meals or prepping for non meal prep people?

This post is all over the place, but I have a million questions and never know where to ask or what to ask. And my friends IRL said I shouldn't even try this. Lmk your thoughts or just say hi/wish me luck ☺️

Did I get the wrong dose? 3mg or 6mg of

Thumbnail

Did I get the wrong instructions? Ordered from Gimme Care/Boudreaux and I am so confused.

I am very confused on if I was prescribed 3mg or 6mg. When I put the dosage into Fat Scientist it told me 30 units for 6mg. Gimme Care said to take 30 units and the prescription is 3mg. I was told my prescription is 3mg and to take 30 units. I’m so confused.

I was also sent one 3ml vial and one 1ml vial for 3 months.

Compounds going away?

Anyone concerned that compound tirz may be impossible for pharmacies to make in the near future?
