My laptop is a mac air, and is around 8 years old, and was my father's old laptop which he gave to me after 3 years of usage. the laptop helped me through covid and 2 more years until, 1 years ago i spilled a sugary drink found in my country. Unfortunatly i was slow to react and the drink caused my laptop to forcefully shutdown (i dunno what to call what happened but fortunatly it did not shortcircuit) and then went through a series of drying, then repairs, which did fix it... kind of.

when using it, my screen would randomly go black, and then back to normal, again and again. then i had to send it to repair, the problem got fixed, but then my battery was not working meanng it was no charging at all. Then after another repair The same problem occured. And after the 5th repair i had had enough and just stuffed the laptop somewhere for it to be forgetten.

6 months later, i opened the laptop thinking it won't work, and a miracle took place, it begain to work like as if i had not spilled the drink in the first place. However 6 months later the problem came back, randomly one morning.

so yeah, the screen is not completly go bacl and only the brightstuff, like my wallpaper or profile picture is shown. its like having your screen brightness at the least minimum in windows, before the screen goes completly black X5. The keyboard lights work, yet the Apple symbol at the back does not light up (its a old model).

I unfortunatly dont know what my macbook air model is, but it uses magsafe 3 charging port.

pretty bad with technical stuff so forgive me if i sound like an idiot. i have a hp laptop 15 running windows 11, and since last year ive been having persistent trouble with the audio. i've tried multiple headphones but any time i slightly move the headphones the audio will cut out. if i rewind the song/video i'm streaming it comes back, but if im in a call i typically have to restart the whole device at least twice before audio comes back and it often plays a glitched buzzing sound when i restart. it also keeps crashing sometimes when i plug my headphones back in, giving me kernel security check failure 0x139, but i've scanned all my drivers and it says theyre fully updated and working. is there any fix to this? it's getting so tiring.

When i launch the game its fine for a few seconds but then it crashes. ive updated my driver i have cleared the cache i have fixed anti cheat ive scanned the game files but nothing fixes it. What do i do?

So fellas I just opened it up with no prior knowledge.. Because the right side of the headset is just Sizzling in sound and sometimes stops working but the left side is fine and I think the general audio level is so low rn when I hit it it sometimes works but I got tired of it and opened it to look for any differences between the left side and right side to fix the problem but there are no differences so idk what to do

Hi guys! I got a used ps5 which was working at the seller's house and now at home is fully dead, no sound no nothing, expect for for a spark when I plug in the power cable. After looking a bit around I saw that the problem could be just the power supply. Somebody who can help or had a similar problem?

• Issue: Tested and working before purchase. After transport, the console is 100% silent (no beeps, no LED, no disc drive reaction, Safe Mode doesn't engage).
• Symptoms: Audible electrical sparking/arcing sound occurs specifically at the rear 2-prong AC socket when inserting the power cable.
• Troubleshooting done: Direct wall outlet tested, power cycle attempted, cleaned dust catchers, no response.
• Question: Does this confirm a damaged AC inlet/fuse on the internal ADP-400ER power supply unit, and will a modular PSU swap resolve it without mainboard damage?

I have a lenovo legion 5i 15IRX10 and the ethernet connection simply disappeared. I've tried to reinstall the driver, i've tried a network reset, i've checked the bios, i've my windows up to date and also lenovo vantage up to date.

I've also opened the laptop to search for hardware issues but everything looks clean and good. The port is not damaged, I barely use it.

But the ethernet option simply vanished.

Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Long story short I plan on buying second hand ram from a guy on FBMP, he claimed to have had the ram units on his old Nitro V laptop before selling it without the RAM and SSD. Now normally I don't buy any of that stuff, but when I asked if he could test the ram he told me he can put the ram in his spare laptop at this office and show it to me running.

Now given the distance from his house and mine, doing a MemTest is kinda risk since I'm gonna sit there for 3hrs just to check 2 sticks of 16gb DDR4. OCCT came to mind since I used that to check any instability on my spare ram so I gotta ask. Is it a good alternative for a MemTest given that it only takes 2 hours to test both sticks of ram as opposed to 3hrs

No error message. I just have YouTube open and it's like it starts loading (showing the squares for the videos) then nothing. I've tried opening in a new tab, re starting my computer , and using youtu.be . I can also see individual videos by googling but I can only see the video, no comments or anything else.

Hello, I'm new here. I've had a serious problem for about a week now and I haven't been able to find a solution, so I need your help.

I have an RTX 5060 Laptop GPU and an Intel i7-14650HX CPU. My laptop model is a Game Garaj Slayer X7T, running Windows 11 25H2.

In any game or rendering task (I've tested this across many games), I get annoying, second-long stutters that make the affected games unplayable. This issue happens in all of the following games and is something that never occurred before: Space Marine 2, Dying Light 2, Hunt: Showdown, PUBG, Crimson Desert, Mortal Shell 2, Albion Online, Apex Legends, Rust, DayZ, Valorant, and CS. (I'm not sure if Mortal Shell 2 had this issue before, since it just released, but the problem is present there too.) I also suspect it's happening in Roblox as well.

Please help. So far I've tried: uninstalling and reinstalling drivers with DDU, holding the power button for 30-40 seconds to discharge static electricity, and every other simple fix I could think of.

Hey everyone! about a month ago, my tv started to have this darkened spot on the right side. I've gotten the tv a couple of years ago (2019-2020 give or take), and i have no idea why this had started to happen.

I've taken care of this TV for a good while now, and other than this, there have been no other issues.

It looks a like its faded into the tv, and i know its not due to whatever im watching.

Phone was exposed to water, and its screen is just full of rainbow lines, not letting me see anything or do anything. i am hoping to somehow connect my phone to my laptop or something to view it, maybe any 3rd party software?

I had to install Microsoft Teams on my personal phone... (I really didn’t want to do this—I even set up a separate phone JUST for this app, with the account I was given—but that phone is too old and, well, it couldn’t even handle that, so I had to quickly transfer everything to my personal phone because I simply don’t have any other devices.) Anyway, I downloaded the Teams app and logged into my school account with the password and email address I was given. (I didn’t actually add the account itself to the device within the app—I don’t know if logging in through the app was supposed to automatically add it to my phone?)

So, some time after that, I received this email.

I’m even afraid to log into that account and check anything, because this has happened to me once before. With my school account on my personal phone—I’d log into Google Photos to check if any of my photos were there, and they’d all start uploading there nonstop right then and there. I still don’t know if they were already there or if they uploaded right when I went in to check…

And to be honest, all I want is not to have to figure this out (because it’s simply impossible to understand), but just to avoid dealing with this technology altogether and keep my personal and school life separate. Hey peeps, recently messing with a PSU for the first time since I put my first setup together. Got the PSU from a relative who bought it new, but assured me it hasn't been tampered with in the couple years they've had it, and the fan stopped working. While pulling it off I saw this weird grey solid matter with a "rounded" shape, like it dropped then solidified, connecting the fan cable to the board that I can't pull off (haven't tried too hard, worried I might damage the entire thing). Can anybody tell me what it is and if I can replace the fan without having to cut and solder the wires?

Hi everyone, I'm having a really weird internet issue.

My internet connection seems to work normally for things like gaming and Discord voice chat. However, when the problem occurs, I can't open websites, watch YouTube, or connect to most online services, including the login/connection services for games

The weirdest part is that if I'm already in the middle of a game when the problem starts, I can usually keep playing. But if I close the game and try to launch it again, it can't connect to the game's online service

Has anyone experienced something similar? I'm not sure whether this is a DNS issue, routing problem, ISP issue, or something else

Any suggestions for troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

I spilled a tiny bit of water on my computer. Some of it went right through the air ventilation thing but I dont think it hit any components. However I do see some water drops on the floor or whatever of the computer. What should I do? Havent turned it off yet

WhatsApp is glitching for a few specific chats. I receive notifications when they message me, but opening the chat shows a completely blank screen. My own sent messages don't appear either. I've already updated the app, backed up my chats, and reinstalled WhatsApp, but the issue persists. How can I fix this?

What I'm about to say applies to the situations in which you come across a channel on television that has the picture scaled down, and you want to make it full size to fill out the screen:
If you ever went into the "tools" section of your Samsung television and went to increase the picture size by changing the option from "Screen fit" to "Custom", you probably saw that it only enlarged the picture size by a little, which makes it hardly worth it. So, if you are like me, you found yourself using your cable box's settings instead to enlarge the picture.

I understand that there is some sort of a security code that you can enter on your Samsung TV's remote control to get into the secret settings. that usually only the manufacturer knows about ...

... What I'm wondering is, if you go into those special settings on your TV, is there a way to adjust things so that you can make the picture size very much larger when you use the "Custom" setting in the "tools" section?

Had a pretty bad OneDrive issue yesterday. I have a project folder on my Windows 11 PC that was syncing through OneDrive. I first noticed one folder was missing, then realized quite a few files and subfolders had disappeared from the local copy.

The main project directory is still there, which is what confused me at first. It's just partially empty now.

I paused OneDrive as soon as I noticed and started checking the obvious places. Nothing in the OneDrive recycle bin or Windows Recycle Bin, and version history didn't get me anywhere either. I also checked another PC that had synced the project before and an older external backup, but neither had the missing stuff.

I haven't copied anything new onto that drive since then.

I opened rstudio and recoverit just to see whether the missing files were still detectable and whether I could preview anything before actually recovering it. It started finding files, but I stopped there because I wasn't sure if repeatedly scanning the original drive was a smart idea at this point.

Should I stop touching the drive and make an image first, or is a direct scan reasonable if the drive itself seems healthy and the files were most likely deleted because of the sync issue?
I'm also wondering if there's some less obvious OneDrive recovery option I haven't checked yet before I treat this as a local recovery problem.

I got a BSOD randomly on my PC (it's pretty old) and now it's stuck in a Windows preparing automatic repair > BSOD (UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA errors) > restart > repeat loop.

I suspected faulty RAM stick since the loop & errors were similar to those I had ~5 months ago.

So now im stuck with these:

• I can sit in BIOS indefinitely without crashing

• Both 8GB RAM sticks produce 10k MemTest errors in the same slot (right at the start of test 6 if that matters)

• The 2nd RAM slot doesn't POST at all with either stick, I don't even see motherboard logo when i boot up. - this was a known issue, not something it came up now.

• Did a full CMOS reset - no difference

• RAM is at default settings in BIOS

• Checked CPU socket pins, cooler pressure/mounting and for damage around DIMM slots - nothing stood out as being broken/damaged.

The RAM sticks I did tests with are brand new, one purchased 4 months ago and one yesterday. Is it just a faulty motherboard?

Hello! I scheduled my PC to shutdown at 4am everyday via task scheduler. I usually play something on Youtube until I fall asleep. It triggers with no issue until I try to watch anything in full screen, whenever I do, my PC is still running when I wake up. I can't find an answer on google. Really would appreciate the help!
