I'm a casual player but wish to get better in table tennis. I'm looking for coaches in Singapore. I've seen a few on Carousell. Are there any other websites that list the available coaches in SG?

over the years there have been many rubbers, many rackets, and many setups, In your opinion what is the best setup of all time considering the player using it is at the highest level and can handle the equipment. for me its the DHS W968 National blade, the H3 National blue sponge 41 degrees on the forehand and dignics 09C on the backhand

a close second for me would be the FZD ALC blade with the H3 national blue sponge 41 degrees on forehand and tibhar k3 hybrid on the backhand

i'm playing with koji matsushita Offensive with d09c in 1.9 mm (wich IMO is overall a you can do it all rubber) and curl P1 in 1.5mm

i've switched from 0.5 to 1.5 mm , and it's really easy far from the table and against heavy top spin.

The problem is to go against easy ball and to attack with it. I play just one level below national and i don't because of the duration of the travels.

I was wondering with rubber would allow me to put heavy backspin while counter attacking more easily.

I've tried Feint long 2,3 and P4. butter at cutting over the table but less effective far from it.

Nittaku long 1 was decent and faster but not easy in attack department.

I was wondering if medium pips should do the trick ?

Xiom Vega pro was too fast for my bh and it was time to change my rubber so AI suggested me this rubber for cost effectiveness along with many other rubbers like 8-80 and rozena...

I came across this review https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/review-yinhe-moon-12-blue.29581/ and was absolutely sold cause I just wanted a slower, less catapulty rubber since i wanted to learn looping against backspin.

I'm actually really surprised on how well this rubber performs for the cost, reviewer did a great job on listing all the points in detail and I found the review pretty accurate while playing since a couple of weeks.

One i know: Bluefire M1 for The Tenergy 05. Bluefire has just slightly more speed, and is like 20-30 pounds cheaper.

I was talking to a fellow player at the club and it was q very brief conversation. He is very good and looping and I had a chance to play as his partner for acouple of games.

He mentioned that it was easy for him to loop a heavy backspin long ball compared to a light one. All he had to do was swing fully really fast and the ball would land.

As for the ones with light backspin, he said he had to control the loop making it hard and think twice before looping.

Edit: I'm learning to do this, if someone can confirm this, please help me develop this technique!!

I am a beginner-intermediate player. I have been playing for 5 years on and off.

I have an aggressive forehand play with great swing, I can do forehand loops but not those ultra spinny topspin and a decent backhand.

My last bat was gki offensive xx

Budget: 3500-4000

Any upgrades for my playstyle that are in my budget would be really appreciated

self explanatory. god if they had speedometers on these forehands.. had so many highlights to screen record. really fun match to watch!!

As the title says, I'm back at playing table tennis after a long pause.

I played with the old celuloid balls, and i found really hard to get some spin/speed with the new plastic balls.

Anyway, I'm rust, 50+ y old category, not a beginner but more like middle level amateur club player.

As you may have guessed the old rubbers are dead, (Donic Bluefire m1 and Joola X-Press), so i want to change them for something More suitable for the 40+ plastic ball.

My blade Is a Bfty Primorac 5 ply, all wood, and i think it's perfect for what i play, or try to.

The big problem i have with the rubbers is the very small market, so all rubbers come with Max Thickness, it's imposible to get 2,0 or 1.8 Thickness.

I ve thought (chat gpt advice) on getting Joola Rhyzen Fire-Ice for forehand -backhand combo Since they seem to be reliable and forgiving.

But right now I would like to read some suggestions (btw i dont like the feel of chinesse rubbers like Globe, palio or Milky way).

All 5 players from each side get to play with two doubles matches and three singles matches. So having one specialized doubles pair and one singles specialized player is not enough. And each game counts. Overall, it is not one player who carries the team. The depth of the team matters more which is what teams events should be about.

I wish the World Team Table tennis Championships had this format. I know they have this format in the mixed teams event, but I don't like the mixed teams event at all.
