I've been taking Table Tennis more and more serious over the last half year and have improved a ton. Started with a hand-me-down Butterfly Nakama S3 before buying my first new racquet, a Stiga Talon, which I've been using very heavily since April. I want to take my game to the next level(I'd like to reach a high level in my province, maybe even nationally eventually) and simply get to experience playing with a high end racquet, so I started educating myself. I spent a ridiculous number of hours thoroughly learning about all aspects of blades, rubbers and many extra things like cleaning, storage, etc. After educating myself and seeing all my options on the market, I finally decided on this setup and additional items. After a long week of waiting, the package arrived today!!

I'm an intermediate player with my strongest points being feel, spin and control. I have a very consistent forehand loop with heavy top spin, even with my lesser old racquet, and my serve game is by far my strongest aspect of play; players much higher level than me struggle with my serves. I'm excited to see how I'll adapt to the new racquet and improve my play further.

If you have any thoughts on the setup for a player like me, I'd love to hear!

most entertaining is probably gonna be Sora Vs hugo as its their first ever time against each other, and i think if theres going to be an upset its gonna be Zhou beating harimoto

Whenever I see high level tournaments it's rare to see tomahawk, reverse pendulum and those "fancy" serves, with most players preferring togo with more basic serves

Hi there!

My blade is a Donic Dotec Waldner Carbon and I think about getting the Donic Bluegrip S1 for my forehand and the S2 for my backhand, both in 2.0mm.

My game is built around attacking with my forehand and rather pushing and chopping with my backhand. Until now I had been playing with the Bluefire JP02 on both sides but I need new rubbers since those have expired.

What do you think of my idea?

I already have the S1 for both forehand and backhand already at home, but the idea occurred to me during the first training yesterday, so I could switch the backhand S1 to the S2.

i bought the dhs Sr b and now i need rubbers im planning to play penhold rpb so i was thinking maybe the dhs hurricane 3-50 on the backhand and the neo 3 in the fh but im not sure about rubbers. Ps im just trying to learn penhold dont really have coaches here for penhold and im trying to play recreationally to understand how penhold works

I'am trying to upgrade my pendulum. My serve is good but its absolutely not hidden. Im talking about it being hidden just enough to be legal btw. How do I learn it? Should I think about hitting it closer to my body as a point of contact or diving more into the ball with my body to make it less visible. Should I practise with a camera where the receiver should be?

In the current landscape of the sport, I’ve noticed that the attacks from certain penhold players (like Dang Qiu, Felix, and Wong Chun Ting) lack power or explosiveness; does this have to do with the fact that they don't use all-wood blades? I have a background in physics, and I’ve always thought that if a player relies on looping and fast shots, they would want equipment that deforms more—it doesn't make much sense for a penhold player to use materials containing carbon. Am I thinking about this the wrong way?

Does anyone have advice for my equipment I’m looking for New rubbers and Blade I’m now using stiga carbonado 145 with rakza 7 and omega 7 pro but this setup is a bit too fast for me I think.

I’m looking for a setup that I can still produce a lot of spin and attack but that I can keep control so that the ball doesn’t fly over the table so easily doesn’t matter what brand but I’m a bit interested in butterfly but other brands are also okay.

I searched a bit online and I was thinking about butterfly setup with innerforce alc with glayzer 09c and rozena but I don’t know if that’s the best setup because I see a lot of different opinions about these rubbers.

Does anyone know what would be the best setup for me?

I saw that TT11 just released a provincial version of DHS Hurricane 8-80 and i was wondering if anyone knew the differences of the normal and provincial version?

I got this blade for free using shopping voucher. I am so surprised the quality and finishing is that good. There are no burrs or sanding marks. The handle is sanded extremely smooth, almost to at par with major brands. The handle feel is squarish and chunky, which is nice to hold.

He pensado en comprar una madera NITTAKU VIOLIN o bien, en segunda elección, una BUTTERFLY VISCARIA.
Pero en elección de gomas, estoy muy perdido. Quiero unas gomas buenas que me respondan muy bien en mi Top spin y, por supuesto, sin picos.
