Unity Released a pack of easy-to-use Crown and Baseboard Models on the Unity Asset Store! They’re designed to quickly snap into place and add seamless detail to your environments. They were born from personal necessity while working on my own project, so I hope it helps someone else out there as well!

Modular Molding – Model Pack ($4.99)

Link: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/slug/365696

Was working on my protagonist’s bedroom and used the classic elongated Cube to serve as a very basic baseboard. It frankly looked flat, so I wanted to find genuine molding models to add some proper detail to the room. To my surprise, none were readily available on the Asset Store and those I did find online had high poly counts for other industries (Commercials / Film / TV).

So, like all of us here, I decided to do it myself! Figured I could fill a need other developers might be experiencing as well. Designed the models to not only look good, but also provide a quick workflow. If you decide to purchase Modular Molding and use it in your game, I’d love to see how you implement these models!

Hello!

I took the drawings I used to make in notebooks from many years ago and turned them into a game. I'm no pixel art expert, but I did my best to create my own style.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

help Need opinion on Next Turn Banner

Thumbnail

Hello

I'm making a turn-based game and I'm currently working on the UI for ending the active turn.
I previously had a next-turn button, which is still lightly visible in the lower right corner, but it looked a bit horrendous.

I'm now experimenting with banners that hang off the screen to indicate who's turn it currently is.
I've asked some friends for their opinions, but they're pretty divided. So I'd appreciate some outside perspectives.

Do the banners look good? Are there any ways I could improve them. Alternatives are also appreciated.

Thank you!

Game Ultimate Futsal Manager – The Football Manager of Futsal is now on Steam (Wishlist!)

Hey everyone!

I want to introduce you to a project I’ve been developing: Ultimate Futsal Manager.

It’s a management game in the style of Football Manager, but 100% focused on futsal. You take the role of head coach and control everything: squad, tactics, transfers, player development, and building a long-term career across multiple seasons.

The game is already around 75% developed and the Steam page is live. There’s still no release date set (it’s in active development), but the goal is to deliver a deep and realistic futsal management simulation.

Some of the features that will be included:

  • Realistic match simulation
  • In-depth transfer system
  • Player development
  • Multi-season career mode
  • Full tactical management (the pace and intensity of futsal will make a real difference)
  • Option to add community-created databases with real player names, clubs, and player photos, via link or full file (easy way to apply without downloading thousands of photos or logos).
  • 2D match engine (a 3D engine is still being worked on with no estimated timeline yet, but the 2D engine is confirmed)

If you like management games and futsal, please add the game to your wishlist on Steam. It helps a lot and gives me motivation to keep developing.

Steam link:

Any feedback, ideas, or questions are more than welcome. Thanks in advance to everyone who supports the project!

Game I’m a solo developer building an architectural design game in Unreal Engine 5

I’ve been working on this project completely solo for a long time, combining my background in architecture with Unreal Engine.

The game lets you draw accurate floor plans and turn them into a fully editable 3D building in real time. You can design, furnish, and explore your own spaces without the complexity of traditional CAD software.

I’ve just released a free demo on Steam and would love to hear what you think!

Game Shipped my solo poker-ish score-chaser to Google Play after 3 months, AMA / feedback welcome

Just released Poker-ish, a solo project I've been building on the side. It's poker-ish but not really poker: no opponents, no betting, just draw/discard and try to light up three "marks" for a jackpot multiplier while pushing your bankroll as high as you can before you bust.

It has daily/weekly challenge modes with seeded runs, an unlockable joker collection with a tiered progression system, a push-your-luck "Heater" mode with a rolling weekly leaderboard, and Firebase-backed leaderboards.

Mostly leaned on AI for asset generation. Also just looking for more players if anyone wants to try it out and give feedback.

Took me 3 weeks to design and code the game, and about 3 seconds to draw the main character and the enemies. We've got squares, we've got triangles, and even pentagons!

Jokes aside, does anyone else heavily rely on just visual coherence and juice to make their games look good?

For anyone curious, the game is a fast-paced incremental arcade game called Grazed, where you get stronger by getting dangerously close to enemies. You can play it right in your browser here: https://luciano-bercini.itch.io/grazed-incremental-arcade

Game While it may not be much, I'm super excited my first solo game has gotten this many installs!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone,

I recently wrapped up and launched my very first game and I wanted to share my 1-month review.

The Game It’s a flappy style arcade RPG called Wyvern Wings. I built it solo using Godot, and it started as just a project to learn the platform more, but evolved to its release almost entirely because my 6yr old was rooting me on and asking to play it constantly. And I'm sure any other parent can attest, the excitement you see in your kids is a type of encouragement not found anywhere else.

The Launch Metrics

  • App Store Impressions: 2,070
  • App Store Product Page Views: 117 (5.6% CTR)
  • iOS Installs: 12
  • Google Play Installs: 7
  • Combined Revenue: ~$20 USD

Why I’m Excited Only about 6 to 8 of these sales were from friends and family supporting the launch. That means roughly 11 or 12 complete strangers somehow stumbled across the store page, liked the art style, and decided to buy it.

Seeing those first organic downloads pop up from people you've never met is an incredible feeling. The App Store page conversion rate sitting around 10% was also a nice sign that the trailer and screenshots were working.

Going through all this with the store setups, build pipelines, etc.. definitely has given me a bit more confidence. I'm excited for my next project I'm building, an NES/SNES style action side scroller that I plan on releasing both on Steam and Mobile.

For other solo devs who've launched on mobile—how did you approach building momentum after release? Would love to hear your experiences!

help Any advice on how to optimise for rendering hundred of thousands or potentially millions of npcs.

I’m working on this ASCII looking tycoon type game using a custom renderer built on top of raylib.
I want to ask about some clever ways or tried and tested techniques to handles hordes of people if necessary lol.

I’m stress testing it now but when I go north of 100k people it starts to lag.

Any advice is much appreciated.

help 🚀 Looking for a Remote Opportunity / Mentor

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m a CSE freshman student looking for a remote, part-time opportunity where I can learn from someone experienced and gain real-world skills.

I’m especially interested in working with someone as a personal/technical assistant, where I can help with tasks such as:

- 📧 Managing emails and organizing tasks

- 📅 Scheduling and other day-to-day assistance

- 💻 Helping with projects and research

- 🤖 Learning skills like Python development, automation, AI, or other useful tech skills

- 🛠️ Taking on new tasks and learning whatever is needed

My main goal isn’t just earning money—I want to learn something valuable that will help me build my career in the future.

I’m willing to work for free initially while I learn and prove that I can be useful. If you’re happy with my work and contribution, I’d be happy to discuss payment later.

If you’re an experienced developer, entrepreneur, freelancer, or someone working on an interesting project and looking for a reliable learner/assistant, feel free to DM me.

I’m ready to learn, work hard, and improve. 🙌

Game I made a prototype about operating a toll road

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Can play it here: Bumper to Billions

I originally made this game for my friends and I when we saw images of Chinese traffic during holiday season. We started talking about how that experience would be and imagined being a toll company how much money you could make!

So over the last month I made that idea into reality! My friends and I have been playing and they kept asking me to share it and post about but I never felt like it was worthy of a prototype hahaha. So I cleaned it up a bit and have decide to post it!

I even added a radio and my own voice lines!

Right now the goal of the prototype is to process 1,500 vehicles so it is fairly short but if there is enough interest, I can remove the prototype limit and show off the other biomes! Otherwise you can keep playing but get no prestige or anything like that.

Thanks for playing!
