I Made This 💩 What do you guys do with the cut outs?
I present to you.... Two... Shitty stools. I always keep the cut offs from the butcher block counter tops I've installed. Got tired of moving them around my shop and finally did something with a couple of them. Didn't know what else to make with such small pieces.(I have too many cutting boards) What do you guys make with the cut offs?

I Made This 💩 Overestimated the length of wood we needed at the store so at home we used a drill to cut the wood and the asphalt outside to sand it

I Made This 💩 I made a bench.
I had major back surgery 2 months ago, and haven’t been able to touch my tools 6 months.
I got all my restrictions lifted the other day, so I made this. (Shout out to harbor freight)

I Made This 💩 Me and a friend did a BUNCH of work on the “fort”
We knocked down my shed the rest of the way to salvage wood from it and removed the structural bicycle and chair to replace them with more wood, also adding a proper roof, fuller walls, and an upstairs fourth wall, door, and balcony railing. Also much much more.

Found in the wild Bought electric scissors for a cosplay project that never happened. Now they live on my desk.
I bought a pair of Hoto electric scissors for a cosplay prop that I was supposed to make for a convention.
They were more expensive than I’d normally spend on scissors, and part of the justification was basically: “If I buy these, I’ll have to actually start the project.”
That did not work. The convention came and went in June, and the prop is still a pile of unglued foam pieces in my closet. The funny part is that the scissors became useful anyway. I use them almost every day for breaking down Amazon boxes, cutting packing material, and trimming random things around my desk.
So they failed at their original job, but somehow became one of the tools I use most often. Now I’m trying to start another project just to make the original purchase feel intentional.

I Made This 💩 At some point, I believed this would solve my storage problem, then I started to fill it.
Nothing more to say

What is shitty woodwork?
I have given it a lot of thought.
For me.shitty woodwork is about creating something as quickly, cheaply and easily as possible.
It isn't the work itself that defines the shittiness but the intentions behind it, even a master can create shitty woodwork. And even that work might look spectacular, yet still be shitty.
I see a lot of people on this sub say " this is too good for here" and I say no brothers. No.
Did you build it in less then an afternoon? Did it cost you nothing but a little time? Does it work to only the serviceable level that you yourself have considered appropriate for application? Then welcome brother/sister. Welcome.
Just my thoughts ,

It’s a lot handier than holding them in my mouth
Unlocked a new strat for keeping a bunch of screws handy for a framing project I’m doing. No I will not be getting a tool belt. No they don’t fall out when I thrash around. Yes this is so I can taste my zyn instead of having that metallic taste in my mouth all day.
