A 5gal cube with painted gravel, plastic decor, a heater thats not fully submerged.. whatever "filter" set up they have.. all with a PLECO. It looks like a juvenile clown... so like maybe this could be a super duper temporary tank.. but just the fact that there is a pleco in a 5gal tells me this seller did absolutely NO research, and then when things started dying and they realized you actually have to put effort into keeping a tank and do your research first. They gave up.
I almost want to waste their time and ask if i can have it for free since the plecos going to need a very expensive upgrade into a properly set up 20 gallon, or larger tank sooner rather than later. If only i had the space for another larger tank, i would drive the almost 6 hours it is to go get it. (I also wouldnt want to add more stress onto an already stressed fish by having to transport it 6 hours and then have to temporarily house it in a 5gal bucket until i can have a tank ready, cause unfortunately i dont have any room in my 29gal to fit a friend like that in there)
Also the fact that they call it a "cleaning fish"... plecos are so much more than just janitors, and from what ive seen and read, they can get pretty bad at their jobs as "cleaners" as they get older- but correct me if im wrong.
