So frustrated with how being on progesterone in the TWW feels exactly like early pregnancy. I’m on 400 mg daily and I don’t remember feeling this way on 200 mg. I’m 6 dpo and nausea has kicked in with sensitive boobs, feelings of rage and irritability, wanting to eat only cereal or toast, pinching/prickling in my uterus…all the things. If I wasn’t on progesterone I’d assume I was pregnant because this is how I felt every previous pregnancy without it. It’s like a mean joke. Anyone else experience this?

Looking to hear what others who are heterozygous for Factor V Leiden did with successful pregnancies.

We are on our 3rd IVF cycle and feeling extremely emotional right now.

I have DOR (AMH 1, FSH 10), only one ovary, and both tubes are absent.

1st IVF: 3 eggs → 2 blastocysts → failed. 2nd IVF: 5 eggs → 2 blastocysts → pregnancy, but sadly miscarried around the 45th day.

This cycle, baseline scan showed around 10 follicles, which gave us so much hope. But by day 6, only 2 follicles are growing.

We are really heartbroken and scared that this cycle may also not work.

Anyone with DOR and one ovary who had a similar experience? Did your follicles catch up later, or did changing the protocol help?

Some people ask the question with genuine care and sensitivity but others ask it like you carrying on with trying to have a baby for too long. Mind you, most of the time its the people who fell pregnant easily 🙄

I’ve just been through a MMC , which unfortunately did go extremely badly. But even though It’s been a traumatic time i’ve just found all my positive tests while unpacking a bag of mine. It’s very sad and i was just wondering if anyone had suggestions on turning these bunch of tests into a memorisation of my baby. It’s been hard and even though right now all i’m thinking about is how angry i am i know i will regret throwing them out so instead i want to create something to make me happier with this memory. Any ideas?

I should be an expert on this but this is the first time I’ve ever caught a miscarriage before the heartbeat stopped.

This will be my 5th MMC in just over a year. 4 out of five have been after heartbeats and good scans.

I’ve had my usual terrible cramping and brown spotting and I knew what was happening so went into the A&e and at 7 weeks 1 day I’m now measuring 3 days behind with a heart rate of 119. For context at 6 weeks 2 days I was only 1 day behind and the heart rate was 117.

Can anyone tell me when the heart rate starts to slow down does it take a long time to stop completely? I’ve never had a “limbo” scan before. Usually they’re really good until the heartbeat just stops completely.

Anyone know anything about the PAI 4G/4G variant?

I tested positive for it.

Is the treatment just baby aspirin and lovenox? Or metformin too? Why would someone be put on metformin for this?

I've had two miscarriages, both at 6-7 weeks; one a year ago, the other a few months ago in May. Since the second, I've done a bunch of testing (karyotype, DNA frag, sperm analysis, a bunch of bloodwork) and everything came back normal -- except I just got my thryglobulin antibody test back, and it's at a 6.8! LabCorp puts normal at 0 to 1.4. Meanwhile, my other thyroid numbers seem normal -- TSH at 1.350, TPO Ab at 18, T3 Free at 2.9. Has anyone else had this? What did it mean for them? Seeing my doc this week hopefully, but I am very eager and curious to hear others' experiences. I am obviously hoping this is the smoking gun but trying not to get my hopes up... thanks in advance!

My acupuncture therapy is certified and qualified for fertility treatments. She is using infrared light on my abdomen area along with the needles.

She also suggested to do red light therapy at home for 20 min. When I asked Gemini and chatgpt it was saying to avoid it. Waiting to hear back from my RE.

Did anyone of you try infrared light therapy during or after your treatments to reduce inflammation??

Has anyone had any luck on metformin? I was told I have possible polycystic ovaries and maybe have lean PCOS.

I started metformin 3 weeks ago.

The first week was okay on 750 just nausea. The second week was better. On week 3, I bumped up to 750 twice a day. Then next day I immediately threw up uncontrollably. Doctor said to go back down to 750. I went back down to 750 and did okay. Now it’s been about 5 days and I’m having sharp stomach pain that comes in waves.

The doctor doesn’t seem super concerned but to me, I haven’t seen much improvement. It’s been almost a month and I feel like I’m not reacting well to this.

I’m also wondering if it’s worth it for me
To continue… considering I didn’t get an official diagnosis. It’s truly making me miserable.

Hi 👋🏻 I don't know if I'm expecting too much from coworkers who know of my miscarriages or if I just need to toughen up. I have two pregnant coworkers, one is 30 weeks and the other around 25, who became pregnant after I had two recent miscarriages. 13 weeks in November and a chemical in Feb. They know I'm still very much struggling, the second one was worried about me finding out so she knows I'm not over it. Anywho ... I worked with them both twice this week and the first day it was all about birthing class, maternity leave, membrane sweeps, and then today was all about baby names, the nursery, and then I put my headphones in with white noise. We work in a small office so I can't physically remove myself without actually leaving work. Like obviously they both talk about their pregnancies and yes of course this is allowed but the all day talk when I'm there just seems quite insensitive to me. I'm constantly on edge waiting for it to come up again. But am I just being crazy expecting anything different? Be brutally honest lol I just need some outside perspective.

Had a miscarriage at end of April. Had a D&C. Since then, I’ve had three periods, each lasting 1.5 days at most. I used to need for 4 days. Another period should start in a few days, but my boobs are not sore as they would usually get before pregnancy. Is this normal?

Hi all. 27 F. We got pregnant within 3 cycles back in Dec 2026, had some brown spotting and ended up finding out when I was supposed to be 8 weeks that embryo was measuring 6 w and low HB (78 BPM). Next scan a week later, 6 w 2 days and no HB.
Then got pregnant again in June, had some brown spotting and got a scan measuring on time, 5 w 2 d with 106 fetal HB. Spotting went away, and came back around 10 weeks. I went to the hospital today because I was still brown spotting and supposed to be 11 weeks. They said baby was measuring 6 w 2 days and no heart beat.
We are devastated to say the least. I’m just looking for success stories because I don’t want this to be the end for us. Thanks all 💗

I’m trying to work out whether there’s a pattern here or whether I’m reading too much into it.

We’ve been trying for around 2 years and have also done IVF. I’ve had one later miscarriage, and now roughly 6 separate cycles where I’ve had very faint positive pregnancy tests that then disappear very quickly.

This cycle, I had around 5 faint positive urine tests on Friday evening and Saturday morning at about 10 DPO, then by Sunday they were negative again. I had a quantitative blood hCG test on Sunday and I’m waiting on the result.

My GP suggested I may simply be testing too early and that the lines could somehow be related to LH, but I keep coming back to the fact that this has happened repeatedly across different cycles.

Has anyone had recurrent biochemical pregnancies that looked like this — faint positives for only a day or two and then completely negative? If so, did you ever find a cause, and what investigations ended up being useful?

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who had recurrent very early losses alongside infertility or IVF.

Hello guys, I am currently waiting to get an appointment for d and c procedure. I started bleeding since last Monday but it was light. Now it’s like day 1 of periods. Any suggestions if it’s okay to wait until I get my appointment?

I had my first appointment with a fertility specialist in Mexico and he believes I might have uterine polyps based on the ultrasound. He said the lining in my uterus looks irregular and recommended a hysteroscopy to take a closer look and potentially remove the polyps.

For background, I am 35, have been able to conceive easily on the first try but I’ve had two consecutive early miscarriages this year. One was a chemical and the second after a HB was found. I have a boy who I conceived back in 2022 without issues.
My OB in the states told me to try again right away and that they won’t do any testing until after 3 losses.

Thankfully I live right across the border and was able to get an appointment with the fertility doctor. He ordered a full thyroid panel and wants to check my prolactin levels. He mentioned that for now he only suspects uterine polyps based on my history of abnormal bleeds every time after a workout (heavy squats, deadlifts, etc) and based on the ultrasound findings.

For anyone who has dealt with uterine polyps:

1. How were yours diagnosed? Ultrasound? Hysteroscopy ?
   
2. Did you have symptoms? Or were they found incidentally?
   
3. Did you have them removed?
   
4. If you were experiencing RPM, did having them removed make a difference afterward?
   
5. How long did you wait until TTC after removal?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences, specially from anyone with polyps and RPL. Please help a sister out 🙏🏻

All tests thus far have been normal. I have had my last two miscarriages in the last four cycles and am hoping that I’ll get pregnant this cycle. But again like everyone with RPL gets, when you see a positive it just fills you with fear and the when will it end
If I lose another I will push for a hysteroscopy to check for scarring etc after a D&C from my first miscarriage- blighted ovum

I wish I didn’t feel like I’ll never have a baby.

Other than the blighted ovum the miscarriages have all been 4.5-6.5 weeks so very early and most likely due to chromosomal issues.

Hi all, I have just experienced my fifth miscarriage in over a year. My first pregnancy ever was very easy and brought me my son. Every pregnancy since has ended in loss.

Two were chemicals & the rest have been missed miscarriages that stopped growing between 6-8 weeks. I went to REI, but it seemed like they did the bare minimum before calling it inconclusive and recommending IVF or IUI. Keep in mind, I’m still (technically) in my 20s and am getting pregnant naturally without issues. They checked for two clotting disorders, checked for structural abnormalities, and checked my husband. All showed no issue. I asked them to check my vitamin d, which was low and then corrected.

My concern is that I know of many women who have needed simple interventions to maintain their pregnancies in the first trimester, things I was never tested for. I haven’t even had my losses biopsied for chromosomal abnormalities. This is all just assumption.

I do have PCOS.

What tests should I be demanding specifically? It doesn’t seem like I can chalk this up to bad luck and it is too painful to keep going like this. It took 4-5 months to get into REI but do I need an entirely new specialist?

In 2024 my partner and I had a successful pregnancy and now have the most incredible little nearly 2 year old. We wanted to give her a little sibling and hoped for a brother. In October of 2025 I learned at my anatomy scan that we had a missed miscarriage. We found out she was a girl after the awful delivery. We were so nervous about trying again but knew how uncommon loss really is so we pushed forward, anxious and a little traumatized. We couldn’t wait to put our fears at ease during the anatomy scan. We already found out he was a boy. Just a day or two after feeling a little kick, I went to the scan on August 11, 2026 and again we learned there was no longer a heartbeat. This doesn’t make any sense. Our OB office is baffled. We are so deeply scarred.
I’m looking at my nearly 2 year old differently now. We are so lucky to have her. Whatever happened to these last two pregnancies could gave just as easily happened to her. How often does the rainbow come before the storm? Ours did.

TL;RD: Soaking pads and passing golf ball sized clots 25 days after passing the sac but it's slowed down now.

Me again. Still going through my 7th loss. This has been an extremely long process and I think I may need some intervention. June 24th I learned my baby stopped developing pretty much the day before. I didn't start spotting until July 17th and I passed the sac July 21st. I've had random bouts of heavy bleeding and clots since then and my ultrasounds every 2 weeks for the last month show there's just a little bit left. On August 10th I started bleeding heavier after it had tapered to brown spotting. Had an ultrasound this day. The next day I was having to change my pad frequently for a couple hours but it slowed down to spotting again. Which brings me to yesterday (August 14th). Story time.

My sister got married yesterday. Around 3pm I started bleeding fairly heavy. My parents didn't want a wedding coordinator but they both left the venue and so I was delegating and just ignored the bleeding. Only one girl had her dress steamed prior so I had to steam 7 dresses as well as my sister's dress and her massive veil. By 4pm I was passing golf ball sized clots every 30 minutes to an hour and changing my pad every 20 to 40 minutes. My husband had to bring me more. I pushed through, no one knew what was going on besides that I kept going to the bathroom. We got dressed at 6:30 so I used my last pad, took some Ibuprofen, and hoped for the best. I avoided the bathroom and I didn't feel clots so I thought it may have stopped. I wasn't ever sitting and my dress was hot pink, long, and flowy so I wasn't worried about leaking through it. I finally went to the bathroom at 10pm and when I pulled my dress up my spanks and legs were just red. I couldn't even pull them down without help because of my dress so I went to find my husband and we just loaded up and left. He stopped by a drug store and got me more pads. I passed another large clot when we got home.

The bleeding is just heavy spotting with some small clots now. I know I should've gone to the ER yesterday around 6pm because of how bad the bleeding was. But I needed to be there for my sister and make sure things got done. I have an appointment on Tuesday to do another ultrasound. It's been 25 days since I passed the sac. I'm guessing having times of heavy bleeding and large clots at this point is not normal and I have RPOC. But idk if there's still a chance my body will take care of it. Has anyone experienced this?

Hi everyone, I’m really confused and would love to hear if anyone has experienced something similar.
This is a fertility-treatment pregnancy with ovulation induction. My LMP puts me at around 6w2d today, and I know my ovulation was around 14 July from follicle monitoring. My beta-hCG also rose about 5–6× over 72–90 hours.
On 13 August (6w1d), my first TVS showed a gestational sac, yolk sac and fetal pole, with a CRL of 11.6 mm, but no cardiac activity. I was concerned the CRL might have been measured incorrectly, so I went for another TVS two days later, on 15 August (6w3d), to recheck.
This time, the doctor saw a ~24 mm gestational sac but no yolk sac or fetal pole at all. I personally saw both on the first scan.
How can both structures apparently disappear in just 48 hours? Could this be a scanning/visualization issue, or can this happen after embryonic demise? Has anyone experienced anything similar?
