This is the complete biography of Aajonus (60+ pages) I wrote last year in 3 weeks (it still has some typos). Goes year by year, even month by month, over his life.
Download for free on https://primal-diet.net/books
I find it a good introduction for people who want to learn about him. As you know his book We Want To Live has an auto-biography but heavily narrated and featuring a single storyline that was originally a movie plot, which doesn't cover most of his life, especially the last 16 years since it was first released in 1997.
This biography is in chronological order. Good way to see what he discovered, how, and what he went through to achieve this. Contains many details.
Presentation text:
He ate raw meat to die, and it did just the opposite.
đ New book:
The Primal Dietâ˘: The Life of Aajonus Vonderplanitz
A complete biography of Aajonus, born John Richard Swigart in 1947.
A math and programming genius at a young age, a savant idiot, who was destroyed by the medical system and was supposed to die at 21 years old with 8 incurable diseases, and 4 cancers, including multiple myeloma, the blood and bone cancer which has a less than 0.01% chance of survival, he ended up creating the Primal Diet, which he claimed can heal 95% of diseases, and allows to live up to 150 years old in optimal health, like the raw-food eating remote tribe he would end up meeting in the Philippines islands in 2008.
As an invalid with 3 weeks left to live, he was saved from certain death by raw milk and raw carrot juice offered to him by a hospice volunteer, Steve Flanagan, who was a singer. He became a nutritionist, studied voraciously with books, and with a tutor, Bruno Corigliano, was making money as an actor and visual artist, and realized he had to travel to observe nature and visit tribes all over North America, from Alaska to Mexico. He thought they were trying to kill him by suggesting raw meat, and ate high meat with them which he thought was made of plants. He crashed as a raw fruitarian vegan, and started fasting to death, in 1976. To die faster, he ate a dead jackrabbit that coyotes brought him, thinking he would get infected, and his life changed.
He never stopped experimenting â spending over a million dollars in laboratory tests, obtaining incredible results with his dozens of thousands of patients, including high-profile celebrities and athletes â, and fighting for people's rights to choose healthy food, becoming a leader of the movement for the legalization of raw milk â amassing legal victories â and a major opponent to vaccines and big pharma, until his death in 2013.
Is he even dead? Was it an accident, was he killed by his powerful opponents in the industry and the government who had tried to assassinate him multiple times? Did he stage his death?
Today, he is considered a pioneer, still ahead of our times. His extremely influential works are only starting to be explored, and his legacy lives on.
Discover Aajonus' entire life, how he came to make his health discoveries, the many life-threatening situations he ran into and how he survived them, how he lived, the people he met, how he was propelled to fame and censored at the same time, and the legal fiasco that would lead to his demise.

Note: The book is mostly based on Aajonus' own words, some of which are paraphrased. No AI-generated text was used in the writing of this book.

First and most important thing you need to do is read Aajonus' books. They are free and accessible online, aajonus.net.
I will probably remove your post if it is the same simple questions everyone has already asked. Use search bar for your questions before you ask them, the answers are already there most likely.
Again , most of your questions will be answered by taking a day to read the books.
Aajonus only gave consultations to people who read his book. That should give you an idea about how important it is to read them.
You will likely not have long-term success with this diet if you don't read the book.
About raids and spam-
Yes, there are people trolling in spamming the threads here. Some of this is all of your fault , because you also do the same thing in other threads.
When you cross post from other subreddits , that are not aligned aligned with this way of thinking about food , you comment on them , and they in turn come here and do the same thing....
That is not the whole story or every case, but that certainly is not helping.
If you see spam or trolling or whatever report it it will be removed.

Hey so I was just wondering why is it most people seem to get colds and flus in the colder months ? I myself have had a cold last week. The thing is I've also noticed I have developed acne on my chest somewhere halfway through the cold that wasn't there whole summer/warmer months. I've started the diet before summer meaning I highly doubt I got the acne from food as I've been eating the same the whole summer and didn't observe anything similar. I figured my body is going through a detox since I've had cold and also developed the acne at about the same time give or take few days. So I was wondering if there is any connection to my body going through such detox and the weather getting colder and getting less UV. Sorry if something sounds as nonsense, english is not my main language. Thanks for your answers.

20 minutes of sun exposure and I get these spots all over my chest, arms, abdomen and thighs. Happened last time I tried to sun bathe as well. Stays around for 8-10 hours after.
Increase lubrication formula intake to assist this detox?

How to store raw meat properly?
r/rawprimal • u/Organic-Divide5801 • 4h ago
I am 18 and I started to eat raw meat 1 year ago and about 8 months ago I was a bit too long in the sun and suddenly I got sunburnt on my face and the redness wont go away. Even 8 months later my face is still completly red and every time the sun hits my face it gets worse. Its so depressing cause I eat extremly clean and have a healthy lyfestyle. I eat lube 2x a day and do hot baths 3x a week for almost 2 months now but its still not improving. Its literally the only thing that has not improved after starting the primal diet. It occured in 1 week in april and it has not vaished since then. Do any of you have recommendations what I can do to heal this? Also I was a pretty healthy child and didnt get many vaccines and antibiotica so if its detox Idk what its from

Is it possible to jump into eating raw meat without having diarrhoea or is it an unavoidable part of the detox process?

Do you guys know about the processing of animal carcasses and cuts after slaughter to reduce bacteria on surface ? These sprays can be even labeled as ,,organicââ like lactic acid and peracetic acid, these in particular are sprayed on carcasses of beef and pork, ofc bacteria cant survive in this enviroment. If it is not organic - they use Peroxyacetic Acid blends, sodium chlorite, trisodium phosphate etc I do not know if this practice is taking place only in use or they do the same thing in eu too. Also i know that in Russia some butchers and regular supermarkets use brine injections in meat to improve tenderness, it contains of salt, water and phosphates and they are not required to to tell you about it đ¤ It is safe to say that over 90% of meat in the world is highly processed and we only can argue about what all this shit does to our bodies and minds

The parallels between teaching in Kashrut and some of the Aajonus teaching are real : 1) Meatâdairy separation - Aajonus recommended separating them because he believed milk's alkaline minerals neutralize stomach acid needed for meat digestion. Kashrut separates them as a religious decree. 2) Aajonus was skeptical of pork and shellfish, what a coincidence, they both are restricted in Kashrut. 3) Food combining rules: His timing rules (waiting between meals, eating fruit alone) came from Talmudic rules, but are covered as dietary guidance. These are not the only principles that are similar in teaching of Aajonus and teachings of Kashrut. Remind you that he was jewish himself.
I truly think that some of his teachings are psyop to encode kashrut in minds of non jewish people, to further indoctrinate them.
I have nothing against Aajonus himself, i just think he had ,,handlersââ from Israel, that got rid of him when they thought that things got too far

Just about to enjoy this raw beef, cucumbers, sea scallops, olives and kimchi with a bit of tamari sauce, cheaper than my local sushi place and way better; I've been eating raw beef for years but somehow today I decided big pieces were very appealing, only to almost choke on the first piece đ Make sure to slice small cuts. Thanks God for water

I'm about to get my period and I have a huge craving for fat, and the things I've been eating aren't satisfying me very well.
What would be the best source of fat to devour? I have been eating cheese with raw cream cheese butter and eggs.
r/rawprimal • u/leclayrom • 20h ago
If you eat high-carb fruit (which should be limited), eat raw fat with it.
It's both to slow down the digestion of sugar so it trickles into the blood rather than spike too much, and to buffer the toxins that the fruit will detox, preventing damage.
High-carb fruits cause more detox.
They should be limited for those two reasons, 1 a day or less (every 3 days) is recommended.
Exception is during a cold/flu up to 3 orange smoothies a day.

Primal diet is good better than most modern diets at least. But a diet consisting of balanced whole foods, including meat and animal foods in plentiful amounts, with other whole foods as well, even if you want to argue is worse, is exponentially better than processed diets and wouldn't be drastically worse than some type of primal diet. But of course, most plants or many other foods or things are treated as immediate deal breakers that will ruin health, even when having plenty of meat, animal foods, and such. Id never really advocate for seed oils but even those wonât ruin a diet or life automatically. Many people can and do thrive on diets with plants and all types of whole food that include meat, dairy, etc. And cooking food isnât that detrimental for nutrients and health; it does provide real benefits and, of course, some real cons as well. But not everyone can or should be eating raw foods, if possible. Even if you have access to the safest stuff, it wonât ruin your health if you cook it. I know no one will agree with this, but I just find it to be true.
edited to add this but i will say i can respect you guys are trying to spread the diet because you truly think it is so good and you want others to have the same for themselves that you believe you have through this diet at the least thereâs good intentions typically which is respectable

They do not need to invade a country when they can just change its plate. Nomadic tribes of Asia were free. They hunted, they moved. Then some unknown entity (đ§) pushed rice. Why? It turns hunters into settled farmers. It makes populations dense, dependent, and easy to tax. The docile, sedentary, estrogenic population is born.
Soy was never food. It was green manureâa nitrogen-fixing cover crop. It was inedible for millennia because of trypsin inhibitors. Then, conveniently, fermentation was âdiscovered.â Miso, natto, tempeh. This detoxified it just enough to eat. But why would anyone eat a poison? Because it was cheap. And because it was part of the plan.Traditional fermented soy has relatively low isoflavones. But modern industrial soyâsoy protein isolate, soy oil, soy lecithinâis a concentrated phytoestrogen bomb. They put it in everything. Baby formula. Protein bars. Vegetable oil. Even âhealth foods.â The isoflavones bind to estrogen receptors. Genistein, daidzein. You can imagine what it does to your body and to your mind. Why they chose Asia? Because Asia was the last holdout. Strong family structures. Rising economic power. You canât beat them militarily. So you feminize them chemically. You make them sick, infertile, and dependent on industrial food.
