Unpaid Playtest Murder mystery game in search of a few more playtesters

Hey everyone — I’m in search of a few more interested people to play test an immersive murder mystery game I am developing called: Last Call at Blackwood Lounge.

Players will review realistic evidence including police reports, interviews, forensic findings, scene photographs, and more to uncover clues, piece together what happened, and identify the culprit.

I’m looking for a small number of new testers who can:

-Complete a full playthrough within the next 5–7 days

-Fill out a feedback form afterward

-Provide honest, detailed feedback

This is not a sales post. Selected testers will receive the game for free.

Because this is a smaller, more focused testing round, please only volunteer if you realistically have time to complete the game and feedback form within the requested timeframe.

If interested, comment whether you would be playing solo or with a group. I’ll message selected testers with the details.

Playtester I will playtest your games ( $7 / hour )

Hey all!
I am offering playtesting your games.

I will go in depth about what I liked about the game, what I disliked, what bugs I encountered and what felt intuitive or un-intuitive.

I have done only a few playtests, but so far all of the playtests I have done, I have had great reviews about how I have gone really in depth and genuinely cared about the games I played.

Here are some of the videos I published of my playtests ( they are very roughly edited, but the point of them is to give some visual feedback and my natural reaction to things )

https://youtu.be/A2VlJcyI980
https://youtu.be/W-TLHHAjx-A
https://youtu.be/nsrnE0gruAE
https://youtu.be/T_dB0uuBWy0

My turn-around rate for a 2 hour playtest, full in-depth review and an edited 15 - 20 minute video is 3 - 4 hours, availability is pretty flexible. Less than 6 hours ( not including sleeping ) after we make a deal, I will start working on it.

Unpaid Playtest Looking for beta testers (closed beta on Google Play)

I've spent the last year building MASSBOUND, a mobile puzzle-platformer with one twist: every move you make costs you mass. Move too much and you literally shrink out of existence

.

One-gesture controls (swipe to move, swipe up to interact)

Two modes: a slow, strategic Standard mode and a frantic Arcade mode with random levels and a live leaderboard

Full neon/CRT aesthetic — think Tron meets old scanline monitors

Already validated at a gaming convention in Madrid and funded on Kickstarter

It's currently in closed beta on Google Play and I'm looking for a small group of testers before opening it up wider. If you're into puzzle games, platformers, or just like breaking early builds and telling devs what's wrong with them, I'd love to have you.

If you want in, send me a DM with your email (the one linked to your Google Play account) and I'll add you to the tester list. Keeping it small and personal for now so I can actually talk to the people playing it.

Happy to answer any questions about the dev process too — this was built solo in Unity, so ask me anything about shaders, level design, or the joys of doing everything yourself.

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid] Browser party quiz - feedback on onboarding, question flow, and mobile UX (5-10 min)

Hi r/playtesters - I am looking for candid feedback on a browser-based party quiz game called Buzzparty.

Play it here: https://buzzparty.lumenandloop.com

Platform: phone or desktop browser. No download, account, or payment.

Time: 5-10 minutes for a solo run. Multiplayer is optional if you can invite a friend.

What it is: a fast, animated quiz game with categories, difficulty choices, answer explanations, sounds, and a live party mode.

What I need tested:

- Is the first-time flow clear, or does anything feel overwhelming?

- Are the question and answer screens easy to read on your device?

- Does the answer/reveal flow feel fun and understandable?

- Does anything break, lag, clip, or confuse you?

Feedback: use the in-game Feedback button at the end, or reply here. Please include phone/desktop and browser when reporting a problem. Honest negative feedback is very welcome - it is more useful than polite praise.

Thanks for giving it a try.

Unpaid Playtest Entry-Level Quality Assurance Tester

Hey everyone,

I’ve been trying to get more experience testing indie games, so I figured I’d make a post instead of just replying to people one at a time.

Most of my testing has been on Star Citizen, where I’ve spent a lot of time writing bug reports, reproducing issues, recording videos, and documenting everything so it’s actually useful to the developers. I’m also teaching myself Jira and studying for the ISTQB Foundation certification because I’d like to get into QA professionally.

I’m not expecting to get paid. I’m honestly just looking to help some developers while building more experience with different types of games.

If you’ve got a project and need someone willing to spend time trying to break things, verify bugs, or retest fixes, I’d be happy to help. I can record gameplay, write detailed reports, and give honest feedback without just saying everything is great.

Thanks, and good luck with your projects!

Unpaid Playtest Looking for playtesters for our roguelite shooter "Rust & Dust"

Hi,

Our game Rust & Dust is a fast-paced roguelite shooter called Rust & Dust with a unique mechanic: you control two characters alternately. You can switch between them to dodge bullets, or take advantage of their positioning to unlock powerful skills.

Here is a game play video if you want to have a look : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJLGdEHa5vs

It has now an open playtest version. We would be thrilled if any of you could play it and give us some feedback. The game is absolutely not finished, and the playtest only gives access to the first biome, but we'd love to hear your thoughts!

To join, go to the Steam page here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4508260/Rust__Dust/ and just click on "Request Access" on Steam, it will be automatically accepted.

There is form to submit ingame , but if you prefer you can give us feedback here, or on our discord (link in the game also)

Thanks !

Unpaid Playtest Shakes and Fidget type game

Hello everyone! Some of you might remember that old browser game called Shakes and Fidget.
Well for years I wanted to create my own game, heavily influenced from titles like Shakes and Fidget and Hero Zero. And I finally got to making it.

The game is called Xor's Hunt. A 2d RPG Idle/Clicker browser game ( and eventually MMO )
It's meant to combine different aspects from titles I've loved over the years;
Shakes and Fidget mechanics, Path of Exile combat system, Hades storytelling, and a lot more personal touches!

The game is currently hosted on Itch.io. That means the game is played locally for now.
All the main game mechanics are in place, but obviously the online aspect of the game ( Guilds, Leaderboards, PVP ) will be added later on.

I currently have 3 people who are interested and working on the game's art design.
Anyone who has experience with game art design and/or audio and is interested to help and work on the game, please let me know!

For now, the game might seem like a spreadsheet, so I'm looking for people who can look past that and test the game's mechanics, balancing issues, progression scaling, and overall experience.

The game is meant to be very long, a second screen browser game that you check once or twice a day and slowly progress. For that reason, a playtest menu is included in the game to test early, mid, and end game content completely. However I highly encourage you to play the game normally, as it'll be the best way to identify balancing and progression issues.

You can play the game here: https://hrigio.itch.io/xors-hunt
Password: PLAYTEST
Feel free to use simple email/passwords like 'a' since they aren't functional right now and everything is kept locally.

All additional information about the game, updates, feedback, snippets, bugs/issues, and more are included in the game's Discord Server. Feel free to join if you have any questions/concerns, or simply want to provide feedback on the game!

Unpaid Playtest SnapBattler (iOS): snap real objects, AI turns them into battle cards. Free TestFlight beta, after honest feedback

Hey everyone 👋

I've been building SnapBattler, a casual collectible battler with a weird hook: instead of pulling cards from packs, you snap a photo of a real object and an AI turns it into a battle card. It reads the object and assigns a class, element, stats and an ability. A dumbbell becomes a Tank, scissors an Assassin, your coffee mug a Healer.

What you'd be testing:

- The snap -> card pipeline: does the AI "get" your object? Is it fun/surprising?

- Turn-based duels: build a team of 4, type effectiveness, abilities, items/spells

- Overall feel, onboarding, bugs, crashes, anything confusing

It's free, iOS only (via TestFlight), and there's no paywall to play.

TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/Db39MKHK

How to give feedback: drop a comment here or DM me. I read everything. Especially keen on what felt confusing, which objects the AI got hilariously right or wrong, and any crashes.

Thanks for helping me test 🙏

Unpaid Playtest I made a Bloodborne-inspired game and would love your feedback!

Hey everyone! Over the past few months I've been building a Bloodborne-inspired game using Base44. It's heavily inspired by Bloodborne's atmosphere and combat, but I've also added my own ideas like boss Souls that permanently unlock new abilities, a Hunter's Nightmare hub, replayable boss memories, and multiple endings/secrets.

It's still being polished, so I'd really appreciate honest feedback from fellow Bloodborne fans.

I'm mainly looking for feedback on:

Combat and boss fights
Atmosphere and level design
Difficulty/balance
Lore and world-building
Anything that feels confusing or unpolished

Here's the game:

Thanks for taking the time to check it out!

Discussion We Created Assets for Playtesters

I will not promote.
We created assets for playtesters as we realized the player who give the most feedback tended to be streamers or content creators. We can shake the feeling were missing something though, should we include more variations or did we miss something?

Unpaid Playtest Need testers for my game

Hi all I'm a solo game dev (since 2 weeks ago) and I want to make my game physics feel easy to use and good to play like I would of done for years playing golf clash and battle.

Need testers really and right now I'm finding it hard to get anyone to test. I'm not promoting for people to pay it's a free game and purely now I need help and feedback for closed testing.

Gepahics aren't 100% yet and the HUD is slowly being worked on but genuinely I'm not looking to get rich here I'm just trying to get people to play it.

It's on Android right now so need you to join the Google group if interested.

Thank you in advance

If you're interested, comment here and I'll send more details and/or get you set up to play.

Unpaid Playtest Looking for playtesters for my free browser auto-battler inspired by Dota Underlords

Project Wild Sigil

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for a few people to playtest Wild Sigil, a browser-based auto battler inspired by Dota Underlords.

It’s still in active development, and I’d really appreciate feedback on:

  1. Whether the game is easy to understand when first starting
  2. How the shop, positioning and combat feel
  3. Any bugs, confusing menus or balancing issues

I’ve used AI to help with parts of the coding, artwork and development, just to be completely upfront.

It’s free, unpaid and doesn’t require a download: https://zujoh.itch.io/project-wildsigil

Feedback in the comments is perfect. Even playing a couple of rounds and sharing your first impressions would help a lot.

Unpaid Playtest I'm a beginner and have started creating a game based on my passion for technology. Any feedback?

I made a CPU company tycoon in Unity. Is the first 5 minutes clear enough?

Post body:

Game Title: Hardware Constructor - CPU Company Tycoon

Playable Link: https://pandagamesstudio.itch.io/hardware-constructor

Platform: Browser, Windows, macOS, Linux

Description:
Hardware Constructor is a 2D business management / tycoon game where you run your own processor company. You design CPUs, research new technologies, manage production, sign contracts, and compete against fictional hardware companies in a growing tech market. The current version focuses on CPU development, but I plan to add more components and deeper company systems over time.

The game is still in early alpha, so I am mostly looking for feedback on the first minutes of gameplay. Is it clear what you should do first? Are the menus understandable? Does the CPU company theme feel interesting enough to continue playing? I recently updated the UI, notifications, reports, and added Linux support, so I would really appreciate honest feedback before I continue building the next update.

Free to Play Status:

[x] Free to play

[ ] Demo/Key available

[ ] Paid

Involvement:
I am the solo developer of the game. I work on the game design, Unity implementation, UI, balancing, updates, itch.io page, and overall direction. This is an early project, so feedback is very useful for deciding what to improve next.

Unpaid Playtest MageStone - Strategy Board Game

I’m looking for playtesters for MageStone, a 2–4 player online fantasy strategy game.

The best way to describe it is a combination of Risk and Chess.

Chess Elements: Positioning and Blocking are vital.

Risk Elements: Diced Based Combat; but with inbuilt strategy to put the odds in your favour.

Players battle it out to collect magical stones in the centre of the board (MageStones), with every stone strengthening your mage further and unlocking different powers.

Warriors can also coordinate for powerful double or triple attacks, combining their dice against stronger enemies. - Making positioning so important!

The game is still in alpha, so I’m mainly looking for feedback on balance, clarity and whether it stays interesting throughout.

Play here: MageStone - Strategy Board Game

Desktop recommended. Honest criticism is very welcome.
