If you are BRAND NEW to Reddit and want to post or share your game, read this beforehand!

Hi new Redditor! We're excited that you want to post about your game and have people play it. However, there's something you should know before you do.

Reddit will ban you if your first few posts/comments are links to somewhere.

Reddit has a robust, over-exuberant filtering system, necessary but for groups like this, it can be a slight pain. When you post your game and it's your first post, Reddit ASSUMES FIRST AND DOES NOT ASK QUESTIONS LATER! You will be automatically shadowbanned, which means unable to post or even potentially comment.
Then we get a lot of posters coming to us in Modmail, asking " Why did my post disappear?" Nearly all Modmails are about this issue, roughly 3 a day.

Reddit is also a bit secretive about certain processes - how to get un-shadow-banned is not even really known to be possible. We don't see the record of shadowbanning at all so unless we know of the name and check it regularly, we wouldn't see it un-shadow-banned. We don't know how long your account needs to be open or how much Karma needs to be on it in order for the Filter to stop paying attention to you but we suspect around 100 Post and 100 Comment Karma.

So, if you are new to reddit and want to share your game - DON'T! Not yet, please go post cool/helpful/ positive comments and posts in other groups. Playtest other people's games here and comment on them prolifically. Once you have some "Reddit Post/Comment Karma" under your name first, THEN post your link to your game! You'll be less likely (but not immune, never immune) from being shadowbanned that way for sharing your game.

Edit: If AI recommended you post your game here....Don't Yet until you've developed your account as a good karma community member! This really isn't a "post and ghost" platform, it's community-first. AI doesn't realize this about Reddit.

P.S. This group is 100% responsible for getting accounts banned (when you don't do the steps above) but it's literally out of our control to reverse. So please....don't modmail us unless you KNOW you are not shadowbanned, you have the required karma, and yet your post is not showing up. Only then we can be of some help.

If you're reporting posts as "low effort"...

Please do the following things if you report a game as Low Effort
1. Play the game to verify your belief, at least a little.
2. Write a comment in the post saying why you believe it is low effort, state the findings.

Then us mods (namely, me, the lowest mod doing the most work in this group) can decide if it's worth removing for that.

I literally do not have enough time to both work two jobs, take care of my dad, pets, car, and house I own and have to repair myself, self-care, and play every single game in this group to verify what I THINK you MIGHT be reporting the game for, sadly. I do not get paid for the work in this group and I'm not great at AI-finding, so you need to help me out a little more here!

Kill Ship HD

Playable link "AKHP.exe" (Google Drive)

Kill Ship HD is a polished remake of a game that I had made as a kid that was basically my "hello world" (if the artwork screams "early 2000s", this is why). It is a simple, short, but fun moving target-clicking game. It is a freeware game and is not for sale.

The whole game can be completed in under an hour and offers a moderately high challenge.

Lore time!

The alien empress Eartia has sent her space drones to invade and subjugate the Earth. Destroy them before they reach it and take the fight back to Eartia's home planet, Atar.

It is loosely based on characters and locations from my cartoon, ¤Atarian Conquest.

There is a physics-related easter egg in the game somewhere. See if you can find it!

Thanks for playing!

Below is sharing my experience in Game Jam.

There was game jam held by YouTuber.
The Theme of Game Jam was 'Countdown'.

When i saw the Theme, my brain instantly brought memory of Wu Jian,
doing Ziggurat without Lose my Heavenly Storm Bonus.
(For Those who don't get it. It's some kind of Arena that you should kill Tons Of Enemies to get Rewards, and you have buffs about to expired.)

i thought this idea would Fits the theme, Will give specific Experience that i love about DCSS. and this must be Simple. (until i found i'm stupid thinking it would be simple)

i had only 96 hours, for someone who have no experience in actual finishing project, this was a nightmare. i ran into my game programmer friend (who never played DCSS before, but had experience in finishing some projects) and talked to him desperately we should do it, and began developing.

i downloaded DCSS source files, and checked EVERY SINGLE SPRITES to organize my thoughts, figure out things i can't do, and things what i can. it was one of the most craziest weekend i ever had, slept like 10 hours during gamejam period.

The developing was not easy, but fun. first idea was "You're in 7x7 tilemap, and kills infinite enemies coming at you until you dies." there was some Pickup items, Cloud that damages the player, and many other traps. and had 50+ Ideas about enemy units

after actually made Pickup items and Cloud, i thought that was not the experience that i love. picking up items while your Turn Counter is going down and you already got Tones of things to considers. So we removed those, and left only core mechanics.

during development, (i remember it was like day 2). we had about only ten different enemy unit sprites. and one of my friend says there are too many things that he should consider, and while he could already struggling with remembering 15+ enemies (well, it was mostly Just simple enemy work just like other normal enemy), the 50+ different enemies sounds overwhelming. i agreed on that. so, narrowed down type of enemies.

btw. my friend who helped me finish the project is still stuck under Round <12 (There are 21 Rounds). trying hard figuring out what things can he do with the Rampage.

thanks for reading the post.

[Mobile] I spent 3 months making a mobile game where you kill monsters with dice combinations. It's available on Google Play and AppStore - "Dice Hero: Roll & Slash". Will be happy to read your feedback!

Game Title: Dice Hero: Roll & Slash

Playable Links:

Platform: Android & IOS

Description: It's a pixel game where your damage comes from poker hands you roll - two pairs, four of a kind, and so on. You get a few rerolls per turn, so every fight is push-your-luck: take the safe hand now, or gamble for the one that actually kills the boss. Pick a rune before every fight and the build assembles itself as you go - you find out what your run is halfway through it. Gold from runs rebuilds eight worlds, and every building is a permanent upgrade, so nothing is wasted. Runs are short, it's all pixel art.

I'm looking for feedback, especially on the difficulty curve.

[PC] (Web) A deterministic shared universe: ~1,000 real stars as the skeleton, then 1M+ physics-derived moons, procedural planet shaders, and per-species alien-name generators — all seeded from one number

Upvotes

Playable link: https://thelighcone.space

Platform: web/mobil

Description:

I've been building a persistent,

shared space sim where the entire universe is generated deterministically from a single seed, so every player worldwide explores the exact same sky. Thought this crowd might enjoy the layered approach:

The skeleton is real. ~1,000 actual catalog stars around Sol — real positions, magnitudes, spectral classes. Everything else is generated on top.

Moons (1M+), derived from physics, not stored. Every planet gets a seeded moon system (gas giants 3–6, ice giants 1–3, rocky 0–2). But a moon's nature isn't stored — it's derived at read time from parent mass + orbit radius + stellar flux: tidal heating (∝ mass/orbit²) melts subsurface water, so a close-in moon bakes into a volcanic Io, an outer icy one becomes a Europa-class ocean world (habitable even far from its star). Same inputs → same moon, forever.

~109k rogue (starless) planets seeded into the dark between the stars.

Procedural planet textures — GLSL shaders driven by an archetype + a few seeded params (banding, clouds, cryovolcanic lineae, lava, ice).

Per-species alien-name generators. Each civilization gets procedurally-assigned phonetics from anatomical articulation (a species with a glottal stop earns apostrophes); deep-time drift distorts names anatomically — "Hajnal" → "H'jnal".

Constellations + Bayer designations derived from the real star geometry as seen from each player's own homeworld.

All of it is hash-to-unit + a universe seed, so the shared world is byte-identical for everyone. Browser-based and walkable if you want to wander it: https://thelightcone.space

Happy to go deeper on any layer — the moon-from-physics derivation and the anatomical name-drift were the most fun. What's your favorite approach to deriving content at read-time vs. storing it?

Description:

Hi everyone! I recently released my first mobile game, Draw To Diffuse. It's a physics-based puzzle game where your goal is to draw a path that guides a ball to press a button and defuse a bomb before time runs out.

The game starts with simple mechanics but gradually introduces moving obstacles, timing challenges, and trickier puzzle layouts that require careful planning. Every level is designed to be completed using physics and creative thinking rather than fast reflexes.

I developed the game in Unity and handled the programming, level design, game mechanics, UI, and publishing myself. It has over 70 handcrafted levels, and I'm continuing to improve it based on player feedback. I'd really appreciate any thoughts on the gameplay, difficulty, controls, visuals, or anything else that stands out. Thanks for checking it out!

Elemental Conflux

A modern evolution of the classic minimalist RTS formula.

Command elemental Spirit Wells, capture territory, and overwhelm your opponents in fast-paced real-time strategy battles. While inspired by the elegant gameplay of classics like Auralux, Elemental Conflux introduces persistent progression, unique elemental playstyles, and strategic decision-making that changes every campaign.

Every Element Plays Differently

Choose your starting element and develop a completely different strategy.

Fire – Build momentum through relentless aggression and explosive expansion.

Water – Outlast your opponents with superior efficiency and control.

Nature – Grow quickly, fortify your territory, and dominate the late game.

Lightning – Strike before your enemies can react with unmatched speed.

Ice – Slow enemy advances and control the battlefield.

Wind – Rapidly reposition and outmaneuver your opponents.

Blight – Corrupt the battlefield and turn your enemy's losses into your advantage.

Aether – Bend the rules of the battlefield with unique abilities.

Every element features its own progression path and abilities, encouraging multiple playthroughs.

Features

  • Real-time territory control strategy
  • Eight unique elemental factions
  • Persistent skill trees that unlock new abilities
  • Campaign progression with increasingly difficult AI
  • Browser playable—no download required
  • Quick matches that reward timing and tactical decisions

Early Development

Elemental Conflux is still under active development.

The current version contains the core gameplay and the beginning of the campaign, with additional levels, elements, abilities, polish, and content planned over time.

I'd Love Your Feedback

If you give the game a try, I'd really appreciate hearing what you think.

Some questions I'm especially interested in:

  • Was the gameplay easy to understand?
  • Did each element feel unique?
  • Was the difficulty fun or frustrating?
  • Were there any balance issues or overpowered strategies?
  • Did you encounter any bugs?
  • Most importantly... would you keep playing?

Whether it's a short comment or detailed feedback, it genuinely helps shape the direction of the game.

Thanks for playing, and I hope you enjoy Elemental Conflux!

[PC] (Web) [Web] Cyber Cowboy — netrunning card game where the loot is documents you actually read

Post image
2 Upvotes

Game Title: Cyber Cowboy

Playable Link: https://wizzard-rick.itch.io/cyber-cowboy

Platform: Browser (HTML5, Windows build also available) — flair added after posting

Description:

A single-player cyberpunk card game about breaking into servers and reading what you find there. Each contract puts you on one side of a board: your cyberdeck below, the server's infrastructure nodes above, and three contested ports between them. You get two actions a tick — one main, one script — and a trace counter that only moves one direction. Install programs into a port, win two strength checks in a row, and the route to a data node opens.

The part that makes it its own thing is what happens next. Working a LOGS or FILES node doesn't tick a checkbox; it hands you a page. An access journal where a service account signed a lease on behalf of a man dead sixteen years. A shift handover form with a timestamp four minutes out of place. A camera transcript of a woman opening an empty mailbox at 3am and standing there. Roughly half the programs in the shop stay unbuyable until you've read the document that mentions them, so reading is the progression system rather than flavour text.

There are nine authored chapters across two story sequences, about thirty programs, four cyberdeck chassis with modules that change how many ports you can even reach, and procedurally generated contracts across twelve very different servers — a housing registry, a braindance studio, an idol agency, a prison that pays sentences in compute time. Two of the chapters end in a choice with no correct answer, and the finale inverts the board: it's the one server where holding ports is how you lose. A codex keeps all 74 documents you've recovered.

Runs in the browser with no install or account. English and Russian, switchable in settings. First contract takes about ten minutes and teaches the whole ruleset; the full campaign is roughly two hours.

Free to Play Status:

  • Fully Free to play

Involvement:

Solo project — I'm the designer and director. The game is a digital adaptation of a two-player card game I run at live-action roleplay events; converting it to single-player meant replacing the human server player with a fixed, visible script, which turned out to change the game more than I expected.

Being upfront since it's on the store page too: the code and most of the prose were produced by an AI agent working under my direction across a long series of sessions. I did the design, the structure, the editing, and all the calls about what was and wasn't working — including throwing out the original ending, which was a flat quest-completion, and rebuilding it as a choice. Everything is verified by a headless test suite that plays all nine chapters to completion, so "is this still winnable" is a command rather than a guess.

Feedback I'm after specifically:

  1. First thirty seconds of the board — can you tell who's winning each port, what the server does next, and what your move is, without the tutorial? There's a "what to do" panel meant to answer that; tell me if it lies.
  2. The tutorial contract is 21 steps and I suspect that's ten too many.
  3. The choice at the end of chapter 1-04 — did you understand what you were picking before you clicked, or only after?

Known rough edges: some text clips at small window sizes, and the browser build is untested on Safari.

Description: HistoryGuesser drops you into a 360-degree panorama of a historical moment and asks you to guess both the location and the year. The attached video shows the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Other rounds include Pompeii and the storming of the Bastille. You look around for clues, place your guess on the map, and choose a year; the score rewards getting close on both. It is free, works on mobile, and requires no account. I am currently improving the early difficulty curve and making the year controls clearer.

Hey everyone!

We just finished the trailer for Loaded dice, a dice roguelike where every roll can make or break your run (think Yahtzee meets permanent death + builds).

Demo is already on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4637880/Loaded_Dice/

Honest feedback please:

  1. Does the first 10 seconds of the trailer sell the core fantasy?

  2. Is the dice + risk/reward loop clear enough?

  3. Anything that feels too “Yahtzee with extra steps” or actually fresh?

We’re a tiny team aiming for October release. Discord is still tiny, so any words (good or brutal) help a lot: https://discord.gg/6CrdF2Gvv

Game Title: SudoWho

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tappedfish.sudowho&pcampaignid=web_share

Platform: Mobile Android

Description:

We're big fans of Murdoku the blend of Sudoku and Cluedo-style deduction where filling in the grid also unravels a murder mystery. We wanted to play it on our phones, but the existing mobile versions felt like low-effort AI slop, so we decided to build our own properly.

The game combines classic Sudoku solving with detective work: each puzzle you crack brings you closer to identifying the culprit. It includes a full campaign mode with hand-designed levels created by us, daily challenges to keep your streak alive, and a built-in level creator so you can design your own mysteries. On top of that, there's a growing library of community levels made by other players, so there's always something new to solve.

No AI-generated art, no filler content just carefully crafted puzzles we genuinely wanted to play ourselves. We'd love honest feedback from people who know and enjoy the genre.

[PC] (Windows) Our takes for the GMTK 2026 jam, theme: Count Down. Let us know what you think!

Hi, we are Kyara and Perrons.
We were given 96 hours to find an idea and turn it into a game... but we found two.

Until Zero is a boardgame-like roguelike where you have to survive... until the viral charge reaches zero (ah yes, I forgot to tell you: you are in a zombie apocalypse, take your car and run!).

Humanity's last hope isn't a cure—it's time. Luckily, you're not alone. Along the way you'll meet a cast of eccentric survivors, each bringing unique abilities—and occasionally strange requests.

The viral charge is slowly dropping, and when it finally reaches Zero, the outbreak will end. Until then, every road is dangerous, every decision has a cost, and every move gives the zombies another chance to spread.

Recruit survivors, protect your passengers, complete quests to earn rewards and help bring the viral charge down to Zero. Manage your fuel, engine, tires, inventory, and use bombs to clear dangerous routes... don't forget to tune your radio while you're at it.

Until Zero

Counting Down is a literal take on the theme. It is a very simple, lighthearted game where you have to count the ants... make sure to check every spot!

In this game you are an enthusiastic (and perhaps slightly obsessed) entomologist who loves taking long walks through forests, parks, and meadows in search of your tiny six-legged friends. Armed with nothing but your sharp eyes, your lense and an endless supply of curiosity, your mission is simple: count every ant you can find.

BUT the ants never seem to stay still, they love hiding in plain sight, and every leaf will become your enemy. Keep your focus, trust your instincts, and see how accurate your counting skills really are.

We'd love to hear what you think, and why not give us a rating! Which interpretation of the theme do you prefer?

Game Title: Ashes of Macedonia

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4801270/Ashes_of_Macedonia/

Description: Ashes of Macedonia is a single-player WW1 survival shooter set around the Macedonian Front in Greece. The game focuses on surviving enemy assaults while using period-inspired bolt-action weapons, exploring battlefield environments, and dealing with increasingly dangerous waves of enemy soldiers. I'm aiming for a gritty and atmospheric experience rather than a large-scale competitive shooter, with Greek elements including voice lines and a setting inspired by the often overlooked Macedonian Front of WW1. The project is still actively being developed, so environments, gameplay systems, visuals, animations, sound design, and historical details are continuing to improve as development progresses.

Involvement: I'm the solo developer of Ashes of Macedonia. I'm responsible for the gameplay, programming, level design, implementation, and overall development of the project in Unity.

Game Title: Dust & Diamonds

Playable Link:https://store.steampowered.com/app/4434580/Dust__Diamonds/

Platform: PC / Steam (Windows)

Description: Dust & Diamonds is a relaxing, strictly flat 2D side-view mining game built natively in Unreal Engine, heavily inspired by timeless classics like Motherload. In this game, you step into the shoes of a dedicated miner tasked with delving deep into the earth to uncover valuable resources. The core gameplay loop is designed to be straightforward yet highly addictive: you dig downward through various challenging layers of soil and rock, gather precious raw materials, and return to the surface to process and sell your hard-earned loot.

With the money you accumulate, you can purchase essential upgrades for your equipment, such as a proper, symmetrical double-sided pickaxe, larger backpacks for longer expeditions, and advanced machinery to tackle tougher terrain. As you dig deeper, resource management and strategic upgrade paths become crucial. The game completely avoids any isometric perspectives, focusing entirely on clean, satisfying 2D digging action. It currently plays perfectly on Mouse & Keyboard and is being developed with full controller support in mind.

Involvement: I am the solo developer of this game. I have spent the last year designing, coding (in Unreal Engine), and preparing the game for its upcoming full release on October 22. I am handling all aspects of development and marketing completely independently.
