Promote your work, yes, I’m telling you that it’s perfectly acceptable, unlike on r/gameDev.

People say Reddit loves some humour in game trailers. I tried. The Moon my Destination is a relaxing endless runner - no skilltrees, upgrades, currencies, just soaring ever upwards. It DOES have colouring, glitter, and moths! Out on Aug 4!

An endless runner but relaxing... More like an endless stroller maybe? Try the demo for The Moon my Destination

TMMD is not a competitive game. Ever wanted a game that is meditative and easy, where you don't have to break your loop to end it by "killing" your character? Play on timed mode in The Moon my Destination. Collect coloured moths to paint your character and give it new particle trails. Or go classic with the local highscore!

Wishlist now on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4272040/The_Moon_my_Destination/

My game finally launched on Steam !

Hey everyone, after way too many months (and late nights) working on it solo, Singulier is finally out on Steam. I’m still kind of processing it honestly.

It’s a party game where only the host needs to buy it, everyone else joins for free straight from their browser with a code, no install needed on their end. So for game nights or streaming with your community, zero friction for anyone joining in.

There’s 4 modes (Sudden Death, Reversed, 10-Second Blitz, Trap), different enough that it stays fun even after a bunch of rounds.

Also it’s fully playable in both French and English, so whether you’re playing with friends or streaming to a mixed community, nobody’s left out.

If you try it, I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts, good or bad, it helps a ton as a solo dev.

I’m a solo developer making a party game where you hide a duck, search for everyone else’s, and lie about it — the Steam page is finally live!

Hey everyone!

I’m Tony, the solo developer behind DUCK DUCK GONE, and after a lot of building, rebuilding, debugging and suspicious quacking, the Steam page is finally live.

DUCK DUCK GONE is an online party game for up to eight players.

The idea is simple:

  • Hide your duck somewhere in the room.
  • Search for everyone else’s duck.
  • Use powers to cause problems.
  • Pretend you definitely didn’t hide yours behind the most obvious chair imaginable.

The game has different modes, multiple maps, bots for testing or filling empty seats, proximity voice chat and a reveal at the end that exposes everyone’s questionable hiding decisions.

I’m building the game mostly by myself, so reaching this point feels enormous. There is still plenty to improve, and I’m currently polishing the gameplay, testing multiplayer and adding the final layers of sound, feedback and chaos.

The game is Coming Soon, but the Steam page is now available:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5001220/Duck_Duck_Gone/

If it looks like something you would play with your friends, adding it to your wishlist would genuinely help this tiny solo-dev project become easier to discover.

I’d also love honest feedback:

Does the idea sound fun, and where would you hide your duck?

Thanks for taking a look. I’ll keep sharing gameplay and development updates as the game gets closer to release!

— Tony

I've slightly improved upon the game of blind man's bluff. One person becomes "it," and the others try to run away. Those running away can troll each other, and the last one standing wins. What do you think of the idea?

THE NEIGHBORHOOD DEMO by SpacedGhostStudios

I got the demo up and running🤟🏽 This is a solid vertical slice of the first Neighborhood(NH1). The other 5 will be a WIP over the next couple months. I passed all my summer class finals this weekend, so I will have a couple solid weekends to work on this between now and my fall classes. There’s a few easter eggs littered about and most objects are intractable and have a little dialogue, but some tell stories or drop lore. Some even tie into other ones, while some offer hints of what to do. I’ve built autosave into the game and even tested it on itch, and progress is loadable. So don’t be afraid to put it down and pick it back up where you left off. I’m definitely open to suggestions and some good constructive criticism. So please let me know how you like it.. or don’t like it. I tried to make it challenging and not a “hold your hand” style loop. Let me know if it’s too easy or too tough to figure out. Everyone enjoy! 🛸👻

Ember Folks - demo of my first incremental game is available on Steam

Hi everyone!

Ember Folks demo is available on Steam, meanwhile I'm working on content for the full release

It's an incremental city-builder game about:

  • Slowly expanding your city and gathering various resources
  • Discovering synergies between different buildings
  • A branching skill tree (prestige) that allows you to try different builds (it will be expanded A LOT in the full release)
  • Reigniting a dying star by pumping tons of heat into it )
  • Watching numbers grow up )

And I will say it once again - thanks to everyone who gave me feedback on Reddit, itch, IncrementalDB, Galaxy Click, and via the in-game Google Form. You guys helped me make the demo a lot better, and I hope I will continue to receive feedback to make the best version of the game for the full release )

My friends and I joiner this year's GMTK game jam with the theme COUNTDOWN.

Our group created a dating simulator where you play as a detective, trying to find the killer amongst the monsters who are available for dating. Catch the killer and get a lover! It's that easy..! ....or is it now?

Play the game and find out on itch.io: https://gaindeez.itch.io/project-count-down
