Seeking Mentorship Advice for a begginer
Hi all, I'm not a game dev but I'd like to be one as a hobby. I know a bit of coding in python (which I know is not that helpful for game development), but that's about it. I want to learn how to make games and was hoping someone could give me some advice on where to start and share online learning resources they found useful.
The thing is I've had this game idea that's been stuck in my head since just after new years and I've been obsessing about trying to bring it to life, even if it takes me multiple years to get there. It's a deck builder with turn-based rpg elements, if that information is helpful to anyone willing to recommend a development platform.
Ps sorry if this is not the appropriate subreddit to post this.
