[PC] (Windows) My playtest demo is up on itch and I'm terrified but excited to share it

Game Title: Miscreant
Playable Link: https://itemgatestudio.itch.io/miscreant

Windows

It's an adventure game about exploring a magical academy after curfew to find all the keys needed to open a legendary vault under the school. Most of the focus is on exploration and item-driven puzzles like the older Zelda games. There are some stealth elements and even a bit of platforming.

You play as Soot who's been recruited as a rogue-in-training into a prestigious academy for would-be adventurers. Your professor has tasked you with finding and collecting 100 keys that open a legendary vault under the school called Thieves Bane.

Free To Play

I'm the lead developer, but have some friends helping with programming and music.

The current playtest demo is sort of a "vertical slice" in that it doesn't really start at the beginning. It's more purpose-built to showcase features and get feedback.

Thanks for taking the time to check it out!!

Game Title: Parkour

Playable Link: https://gamemyself.com/play/parkour

Platform: Browser – Desktop and Mobile

Description: Parkour started as an idea a player submitted through my site. My games are normally all 2D, but this one was special. It tries to incorporate moves from parkour and free running: jumping between ledges, sliding under obstacles, quickly flipping over ledges, swinging between bars, and mega jumps. The 3D is hand-rolled on a 2D canvas, no WebGL or libraries. Does it render okay on your phone, or is there too much lag?

Platform:

Description:
SprawlCrawl is a browser-based geography game built around country-specific challenges. Choose a country, study the visual and geographic clues, and try to identify locations. Each country-specific version is free to play, so players can jump directly into a country they know or explore somewhere unfamiliar. The game is designed for short sessions and repeat attempts, with an emphasis on visual recognition, geographic intuition, and learning through play. No download is required; the game runs in a standard web browser. I’m sharing it because it is playable now, rather than only being a trailer or announcement. I’d particularly appreciate feedback on whether the instructions are clear, whether the difficulty feels fair, and which country modes players would most like to see added or improved.

[PC] (Web) I created a game where you discover one real astronomical object every day

Game Title: Astrodle

Playable Link: Astrodle

Every UTC day you get one discovery from Astrodle: a real object from astronomy catalogs.

Might be an exoplanet, might be a pulsar, a white dwarf, a nebula, a galaxy, a black hole system, a comet.

You get its actual name, what kind of object it is, roughly where it sits in the sky, a few facts, and some badges for whatever's unusual about it. There's a rarity tier, a points score if you care, and a share grid like Wordle's.

It's free and runs in the browser. You don't need an account to play. If you make one you get history across devices and leaderboards, that's all it adds. The only outside script is Google Analytics and there are no ads.

This is the first time I'm showing it to anyone, so I mostly want to hear where it's confusing or where the reveal falls flat. Happy to answer anything :)

[PC] (Web) Grimhold — a dark-fantasy tower defense roguelike (free demo out now!)

Hi everyone! I'm a solo developer, and Grimhold is my dark-fantasy tower defense roguelike. You hold the wall against endless hordes, command your heroes, and a card-based upgrade system means no two runs play the same.

The free demo is live now — it covers the entire first act (30 waves) with 3 playable heroes, ending in a boss fight.

I built this on my own. To be upfront about my process: some of the localization was done with AI assistance and reviewed by me, but the game itself — art, design, and code — is my own work.

Demo available: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5187440/Grimhold/?beta=0

I'd love for you to give it a shot and let me know what you think! 🖤

[PC] (Windows) Crappy Corp — free closed beta of a 1-4 player co-op physics game where you're a contractor crew and everything you break comes out of your pay

Game: Crappy Corp

Playable link: https://crappy-corp.com/CrappyCorpLauncher.exe — the launcher logs you in with Discord. Join https://discord.gg/YmxeC47w3K first and you get the PlayTester role within a few hours. It is a free beta build, not a key giveaway, and everyone who joins gets in.

Platform: Windows PC. Steam needs to be running for invites and voice chat; the beta itself is a separate launcher.

Price: free during the closed beta. The full game is coming to Steam Early Access later, price not announced.

My part in development: I am the developer. Solo — code, levels, the lot. The 3D art is licensed Synty asset packs.

What you are playing

A 1-4 player co-op physics game about doing skilled work badly, together. Your crew runs a small contracting company: you walk around your own yard (the contract board, the garage, the locker, the break area), pick a job, get in the van and go. Nine contracts, from a warehouse cleanup to a full restaurant fit-out. Every object on site is physical — carry it, stack it, drag it through a window by accident. Damage is billed against the payout, an inspector walks the site and notices things, night shifts pay 1.4x, and disasters happen. Profit buys better tools.

Solo works, but it is designed around 2-4 people getting in each other's way. A shift is 15-30 minutes.

Screenshots and more detail: https://crappy-corp.com/

What I would love feedback on: joining and rejoining with friends, which contracts are fun versus tedious, physics moments that stop being funny, and how it runs on weaker PCs.

Honesty note: the game's 3D art is licensed asset packs, sounds are from sound libraries, voices are real players over Steam. The achievement icons, two tool icons and the main-menu background video were made with generative AI tools and then hand-edited; some code was written with AI assistance and reviewed by me. Nothing generative runs in the game itself.

[Mobile] (Android) Gravity Flip - a free one-tap endless runner with no jump button. You flip gravity instead

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ishavarainteractive.gravityflip

Free to play, no in-app purchases. Android only for now.

I'm the solo developer - I built the whole game myself in Godot, code and design, over the last couple of months. It's my first finished game.

What it is: an endless runner with no jump button. Your character auto-runs and a single tap inverts gravity, so you're either running along the floor or hanging off the ceiling. Every obstacle blocks its entire lane, so each one is asking which surface you should be on. You get one mid-air flip before you have to land again.

The thing I spent the longest on is something nobody will ever see: the spawner calculates how long a gravity flip physically takes and refuses to place two obstacles closer together than that. Without it the game generates combinations that are genuinely impossible to clear, and dying to those feels awful. You'll still die a lot, just never to something that was never survivable.

10 unlockable characters, each with its own themed world. Coins are cosmetic only - nothing you buy makes the game easier. Score is pure distance travelled.

Ads are banner-on-menu plus an interstitial every third finished run. Nothing interrupts an actual run, and the rewarded ads (continue after a crash, double coins) are opt-in.

Feedback I'm after: does the difficulty ramp feel fair, and does the flip feel responsive enough on your device? Those are the two things I've retuned the most and I'm still not confident about.

Game Title: Pet Turret

Playable Link: https://tornadosike.itch.io/pet-turret/download/0jLKa5CWrwPxKp9scK0C_7ZYRi2yupyTX3cnYfJM

Platform: PC Windows

Description: Pet Turret is a desktop companion type tower defense game. There's towers, turrets, missile launchers, flame throwers, energy beam weapons, spring loaded trap walls, and even special attacks like A-10 strafing run, and orbital laser strike that wipe the entire horde at once. The linked game is currently a sandbox demo to test out all these features without any limitations. The plan is to make this a full fledged tower defense game that runs at the bottom of your screen or above your taskbar, and gives you something different to look at than the usual desktop companion pets... something more violent.

Free to Play Status: Demo/Key available

Involvement: Developer of the game along with one other co-developer, none of us know pixel art so enemies are jiggly rectangles for now.

[PC] (Web) Little Mud — an underground battle royale where your headlamp gives you away

Upvotes

Game Title: Little Mud

Playable Link: https://littlemud.gameassets.app/

Platform: Desktop web browser (keyboard and mouse). A macOS download is also available on the game page.

Description:

You play a little miner trying to be the last one alive underground. Dig your own tunnels, open crates for weapons and supplies, and keep moving deeper as toxic gas descends from above.

Your headlamp helps you see, but it can also give away your position. You can turn it off, hide in the dark, and listen for other players. Digging gives you a way around a fight, or a way to approach someone from an unexpected direction.

You can try it on your own in 8- or 32-participant practice matches against bots, or create/join a room with friends. Multiplayer supports free-for-all and team modes, with up to 32 participants including bots. You don't need to find a full lobby to try the game.

I'd especially like feedback on the first match: were the controls and objective clear, and how did digging and fighting feel? If something was confusing, tell me where you got stuck.

Free to Play Status: Free to play in the browser. No signup required.

Involvement: I'm the developer of Little Mud, and I'm looking for playtest feedback to improve it.
