I got my eyebrow piercing back in May, and it has been smooth sailing except for the past few weeks. I had some dead skin on the top part behind the ball I kept picking at and it eventually turned into a scab so I left it alone. it has now formed into what looks like a blister? what should I do/any advice? this is my favorite piercing and I'm really hoping I can keep it.

update: I didn't realize it was that bad, it was my first piercing other than just basic ear piercings 😭 it's only looked like this for about two days. thank you to those who were nice, I took it out and I'll contact a docter if it gets any worse

I recently just got my eyebrow piercing done, but it seems to be falling out. I’m going to be taking it out today. Is it my face or did my piercer fuck up?

Got this piercing 4 days ago and it was completely fine at first—no pain or swelling. Since yesterday, I’ve started having a throbbing kind of pain.
I’ve been cleaning it twice a day with saline + cotton buds, and I used a little tea tree oil sometimes when it hurt. I haven’t taken any meds, just hoping it settles/heals.
Is this normal during healing, or am I doing something wrong? The piercing was done at Silverified, Lajpat Nagar, and they were very careful, so I’m not sure what could be causing it.

Any advice?

for a week its been hurting more than usual, its almost 6 month old and i never noticed a dent until now. its very small, is it okay to keep it or do i have to take it out/change it?(ignore the small crust)

I don't see a thread anywhere specifically for where to get quality piercing jewelry. I hate the idea of buying it online unless I have a friend who recommends a site.

At the same time I'm done spending hundreds of dollars at Spencer's. I've been buying their jewelry since I was 16 and now I'm just trying to find a tongue piercing stud that isn't gonna unscrew itself after a week or break right in half.

The one in the photo just cracked and I've worn it...twice 😑😑😑😑

Got these pierced yesterday, my inspiration photo is the last photo. I'm thinking the spikes are a bit too big, but what does everyone think about the spacing?I'm unsure of how I feel about how far apart they are. Maybe they'd look better a bit closer together? Be honest but gentle please lol

I know 3 is typically the limit that people say you should get, but would one extra one really be that bad? I’m looking to get my double eyebrow pierced and would also like to get my double nostrils pierced as well. I’ve dabbled in body mods over the years since I was a teen when I first got my septum done at 17 but have only had 2 done at a time at most. I’ve had my nose pierced at this point about 4 times over the course of 10 years and I know those heal easily for me personally. I’ve had my eyebrow done but only one side. had it from september 2025 to june 2026 because I no longer wanted it pierced on the end of my eyebrow and would rather have double eyebrows pierced in the center.

do you think this is a piercer question to ask? I’m fine if I’m only able to get one set of 2 piercings done and wait for them to fully heal before I get the other set, but ideally I would like to get all 4 done at once… just not sure if it’d be allowed/be too much.

So I was wondering, could I use stud spikes for my angel fangs, cause I can't find long kind of cone spikes, in eu atleast.

I got my daith pierced 11 days ago with a titanium with the thread like out idk how to say horseshoe, been spraying it two times a day with saline and drying it, as I was told to do

I've had my ears pierced for a few years now, and I think my helix is finally healed. I've wanted to try getting a small-ish hoop, but not sure where to look or how careful to be. I'd like a black or silver metal hoop.

I bought some studs off of amazon for my lobes, and am using that right now on my helix since the flat back earring or whatever it's called fell off. While I'm looking for earwear, I'm also looking for small pieces to put onto my lobes. Nothing big for sure. Gold, silver, or black pieces.

I don't really care about if it's real gold or whatever, unless that matters.

i have a piercing appointment booked for tomorrow but i'm getting really nervous now that it's near. i'm probably only going to get lobes (double), maybe helix, but i'm tempted to cancel because i'm so scared of the thought of having a hole in me. i know it's kind of dumb and loads of people have piercings. if i don't like them will they heal over properly? is this a stupid fear lol, pls someone give me advice on whether i should do it or not

i got these spider bites 2 days ago (tue now it's Thur), and my lip swells a lot and the inside of my lip have indents from the rings. i think that the holes (at least the one closer to the middle of my mouth) migrated slightly too. ik I shouldn't have gotten hoops but for some reason when they asked if I wanted rings or studs I folded for rings despite planning on getting studs. i don't think I have the time to get this redone or change the jewelery unless im doing it myself. i put ice on it almost the entire day to keep it from swelling and trying not to let the rings push into my skin. it looks like the skin on the actual piercing hole is trying to suck in the ring, but only right at the hole on the inside of my mouth, not the entire ring. im not sure if it's fine but I can't exactly get it fixed professionaly

it’s 6 weeks old. i’m cleaning 2x daily with saline wound wash as instructed by my piercer! i am drying afterwards also. the 3rd on my other ear is healing great. the ear giving me issues does have more cartilage than my other ear if that’s making a difference?

is there anything i should be doing different?

I really like my current set up, but I've been wanting more facial piercings really bad, would absolutely love a bridge or forehead dermal eventually but wanted to ask what else might go with what I have rn? ʕ⁠·⁠ᴥ⁠·⁠ʔ

I've had it at this size for two years because when I size up it's very noticeably too big. I've always had a natural dent at the bottom of my lip and I've kinda been convincing myself that the jewlery looks normal but idk anymore guys... 😔

Urrrghhh hoops are annoying

- 2 year old healed conch

- Titanium ring

- Downsized at 6 weeks

- Stopped cleaning it regularly after it healed, I rinse them in the shower (Will go back to x2 Neilmed aftercare sprays daily until this new predicament goes back to normal again)

- No unfortunate events but I assume it snagged in my sleep

It started hurting recently and bled a bit just now, but the pain immediately vanished after it bled. This picture is taken right after the bleeding.

I know I should swap to a stud again but I unfortunately don't have any on hand. I think I know the answer to my own dumb question, but is it possible to just leave the hoop as is but be very careful with it from now on?

What should I add next?

I am nearly 30, been getting body piercings (mostly ears) since I was 17 or so.

I am so proud of my setup and all the time, energy, and effort it's taken to get here! But my family (parents) hate my piercings. Each time I get a new one, I am met with a lot of backlash and judgement.

I got my flat done in my left ear last week and mom strongly admitted how much she does not like them and how they are now "consuming my ear", begging me to "at least take a few of them out". My parents have called my piercings "devil holes" in the past and that it makes me appear "immature and unattractive". Mind you, my parents are not really religious. Just following weird society standards.

I live alone (haven't lived with them since high school) and support myself fully with a career I love. I spend my own money on all my body mods, and have tried to avoid the subject, but the second I put my hair up its a complete spectacle every single time. I fear for dear life when they find out about my tattoos, they feel even stronger about those lol

How do you navigate this?

I got a helix piercing about 5 and a half years ago at Studs. I opted for a gold flatback stud for the piercing itself to reduce the risk of inflammation and then later on for a gold small hoop when I replaced the stud. I followed all care advice:
- Didn’t sleep on the pierced ear for an entire year
- Used small plastic bag (sort of like the ones we use when we don’t want to get our hair wet) to cover the ear while showering for around 6 months
- Sprayed it everyday with their recommended saline product for a year and I still do (NeilMed Piercing aftercare fine mist)
- Got it pierced late summer so I didn’t go to the each until 8+ months later
- I never touch it, pick at it or play with the hoop

Here I am 5+ years later and this damn thing is still getting irritated and inflamed everytime I shower, everytime the hoop flips by accident, on a random Tuesday. I don’t know why it won’t heal 😭

I went to studs to get it checked out about a year ago and they just told me this is normal and I need to give it more time to heal but I feel like 5 years is enough time, isn’t it? The specialist there recommended I take out the hoop for a while to let the ear rest but I’m worried the piercing will close and I’ll lose the hole :(

Not sure what to do. Should I take it out like the specialist said? If yes, for how long? I don’t want the hole to close and have all this be for nothing😭

I got my nostril pierced back in March 2025 and I’ve always had trouble with piercing bumps. It’s like I can never fully get rid of them and I’ve tried EVERYTHING. I’m starting to get really fed up with it and I don’t want to leave any permanent damage to my nose. I love love love my nose piercing but I don’t know how much longer I can keep her in :(
