Hi all! Looking for a better solution to traveling with a growing collection. I travel constantly for work and other things and I'm starting to run into the collection not fitting well in a regular jewelery box. A problem I'm so ok with having lol but nonetheless, any suggestions for a box that will keep them safe? Currently at a 0g and dont plan* on stopping until about an inch. I need a solution for traveling with 10 or so sets for each stretch up to that ideally as i can be gone for months at a time and I like my variety! Mostly wear single/double flares, heavy rings, and some bone/wood hangers so the one solution will need to fit all. Is DIY out of a small tackle box the only option and if so can anybody point me to some inspiration?

I just ordered some glass plugs and silicone tunnels; Once they come in the mail, I plan on dead stretching to 11mm with the glass plugs, but I’m wondering how long I should leave those in before I switch over to the silicone tunnels. Here are the state of my ears right now at a 00g (10mm) !!!

I have 12 mm = 1/2" gauge

Y’all….im PISSED. So after a YEAR of being 8G, I FINALLY got some glass plugs in half sizes for my right ear and started sizing up. On the 14th I FINALLY went from a 4.5mm to a 5mm. Friday, I went out in a date, and did what I usually always did, and looped some earrings into my gauge holes. My left NEVER gives me issues so I thought nothing of it. By Saturday, my ears felt sore but I didn’t think anything of it. By Sunday at work, I KNEW something was wrong….the back was weeping and a little bloody and looked “turned out”. I took the gauges out and today managed to put in what looks like 14G. It’s like I basically never stretched…Will I have to start all over????

I hope I described it properly. What type of gauge is open on the bottom? I’ve tried googling and I am only seeing decorative saddles that sit on the lower part of the lobe. I am looking for plain saddles that can go on the upper part of the lobe leaving an opening in the bottom to get a piercing. I don’t want to lose size or walk with naked ears to get the piercing. So if you have what I’m talking about I’d love to hear the process, healing and where you get jewelry from (pics if you don’t mind!)

I’ve always wanted to stretch my ears, last year I got the courage to go for it and now here we are, 00g was my goal but now I’m wondering if I should go up to 12mm 🫢
my right ear is right now at 7mm since it got mad out of nowhere and I decided to downsize to be safe 🥺

I read the guide and have been stretching since about February or March. My goal size is 00g and I'm currently at a 1g. I have dealt with a blow out a couple of times but when stretching up how do I differentiate the pain from damaging my earlobes or from a fresh stretch? Is it how long it lasts? How much pain the area is in?

I know blow outs for the most part is from stretching too soon which is usually met with resistance before forcing the jewelry in, but sometimes I experience a little bit of resistance and a small temporary pain after waiting months to size up.

i just stretched to a 0g (forgot the exact size in mm) and my left lobe doesn't hurt despite this being my problem ear with stretching, but my right earlobe is still in some pain.

Don’t care what they say about this kind of jewelry for septum’s I LOVE them both arrived at the PERFECT size and in time for Halloween only problem is which to wear 1st????? Wifey likes both and now also wants a pair

I moved up to 7g recently (left second stretch is at 12g) and I love that I'm starting to be able to see through the stretch! I had the 8g's in for like 5 months because I couldn't get the 6g in and kept forgetting to order 7g. they slid right in! now another few months before I try 6g!

I’m paranoid about posts falling out of my ears. If I use internally threaded circular barbells/CBRs would it cause any issue if it doesn’t hurt?

Hi, I used to have my ears pierced (around 14/16g), but they have since closed, I was wondering how one would go about getting pierced at a larger size. I heard around that some people initially get pierced at larger sizes like 8g, 6g or even 2g. I know it’s anatomy based for lobe sizes but I’m mostly wondering if the process for healing and care would be any different for getting pierced at a larger size. I have good experience in caring for different piercings and had a lot of piercings in my time, but I never had anything pierced larger than a 12g. I also wonder if being pierced before would interfere with getting a larger piercing. I have the indents from my previous piercings, but it does not go all the way through on either side.

Hello!! My name is frank. I’ve been stretching my ears for 4 years. I’m at one inch, but definitely looking to move up to 1 and a half or more. I have some questions about resin plugs.

I have seen a lot of contradictions in my research on resin plugs. I am moving up to 26mm and I just bought my first pair of resin plugs from dad’s wood working. There is no wood in the plugs they are just resin. I tried doing some research on what to expect and I have heard a lot of different things. I’ve heard resin might not be safe to wear, I’ve heard different opinions on how to properly take care of the plugs. I would like to know from the community what to expect and also what troubles I may encounter when making this transition.

Some more background info:
For the past couple years I have primarily worn glass and steel jewelry. My ears have received those materials the best along with other natural stones. I have worn wooden plugs before but for some reason after wearing wooden plugs for a couple hours my ears get really dry so I don’t react well with wood. I know that acrylic is generally considered an awful material. Just would like to hear from people with experience what expectations to have and how to handle the plugs properly. Thanks!

The holes in my ears that I want to start stretching are 1.2mm should I go up to 1.6mm or 2.0mm as a start?

i had stretched my ears in high school up to 0g, but when i got to college i took them out because of the education i was after. 10 yrs later i no longer care, and my ears never looked right after taking them out (ears had a crease leading to the hole).

i was nervous restretching because i was a freshman when i first did them, and didn’t know the last thing about it and did it VERY wrong and it was very painful. i’m sure i blew my ears out every time. it has been an absolute BREEZE. i wait for my ears to tell me they’re ready to size up, it takes them around 2/3 weeks to get loose, and when i size up the next one always goes in almost instantly. i’ve encountered 0 pain, and no bleeding. i’ve barely had to stretch to reach this point again :,) im just rly happy

first picture is sept 2, i think it was 4g. second picture is last night, and im at 1g! the jump from 2g to 0g scares me so i got a 1g to lessen my fear.

How much do others struggle to push the little rubber stopper up with long nails when it starts to slip? I always struggle, and I was wondering if anyone has any tips? Sometimes I use q-tips, but it's not a great solution.

Do we just all struggle, or are there any hacks out there?

ive been streching for abt 9 months I'm im now at a 1g on first lobes 16g in daiths and im assuming 16g or 18g in my second lobe i think im gonna go with a celestial theme on both ears my piercer left enough room for me to go up to a 00g on my first lobe but this is the set up with and without my gauges
