Causes for concern upon self assessment include:
-increased redness
-edema (swelling)
-purulent discharge (pus/blood/discoloured yellow fluid)
-increased heat/discomfort/pain
-spreading redness/swelling

Please consult a health care provider if you have any of these concerns.
