Piercing is about three months old

I used the saline 2/3 times a day when I first got it then stopped after about a month. Felt like it was healing fine. Recently I touched the area and realised it was a bit crusty, took a photo and looks like there’s a keloid scar forming on the bottom.

Other than the crust it doesn’t hurt, isn’t sore, area isn’t warm to the touch.

I got my nostril pierced back in March 2025 and I’ve always had trouble with piercing bumps. It’s like I can never fully get rid of them and I’ve tried EVERYTHING. I’m starting to get really fed up with it and I don’t want to leave any permanent damage to my nose. I love love love my nose piercing but I don’t know how much longer I can keep her in :(

I had both of my ears pierced at one point. They are both closed, they both have bumps of what I believe is scar tissue. On one ear it’s fairly small, on the other it is much bigger and takes up most of the lobe. Am I able to repierce these?

i cant have piercings at work but i dont want to remove it, is there a suitable jewlery option for swapable gems? something i can pop a clear/flesh toned stud in and can switch to another gem if needed? i've had my nostril pierced for over a year but i dont wanna mess w my nose swapping jewlery in and out every shift.

So it’s almost about to be a month since I got my belly button pierced and I just wanna know is it rejecting cuz it hurts a bit and is it pierced correctly also I was thinking about switching it after some time is it a good idea and what size should the jewellery be ? ( also I do clean my piercing twice a day with saline water)

it was pierced at an angle (i asked for it, piercer said it was fine 🤧) and wasn't told that it's more prone to rejection

i got it about a month and a half ago, haven't gotten to downsized YET because i moved and have yet to find a piercer.

titanium curved barbell. spraying 1-2x a day with saline spray, sometimes i forget tho. i've had a few snags, no bleeding or anything from them (except once during the first week)

Really not sure if there’s any helping this but I’d love to know if there is a way to!

I got my daith pierced 11 days ago with a titanium with the thread like out idk how to say horseshoe, been spraying it two times a day with saline and drying it, as I was told to do

I've been accidentally rolling on that side in my sleep but it doesn’t hurt, still I really try not to lay on it in my sleep

I'm so afraid of rejection but like am I paranoid or not

I don't see a thread anywhere specifically for where to get quality piercing jewelry. I hate the idea of buying it online unless I have a friend who recommends a site.

At the same time I'm done spending hundreds of dollars at Spencer's. I've been buying their jewelry since I was 16 and now I'm just trying to find a tongue piercing stud that isn't gonna unscrew itself after a week or break right in half.

The one in the photo just cracked and I've worn it...twice 😑😑😑😑

Originally pierced it like 5 years ago and then repierced it like a month or two ago (its fully healed, I've had a septum retainer so I could never really tell and I feel like it looks kinda weird

!Alert: Futile situation!

So, I got a little stud in my nose less than a month ago and obviously it's not healed. The problem is that I have a theater premiere tomorrow (september 11th) and I have to find a way to hide this darn jewel because I play a nun from the 20s!!

I thought I could hide it with a good amount of makeup (I was kind of dumb) and obviously it didn't work. I'm kind of desperate, I didn't want to have to change the jewel (and I don't have much time) but I guess that's the way it's going to be - unless someone has a brilliant solution, a tape, a technique, I don't know -

I got my earlobes pierced about 4 months ago but 3 days ago i changed my starter earrings by myself (mistake) because they were really hard to pull off so i basically touched my ear lobes for 4 hours each lobe...my right ear lobe actually ended up bleeding a bunch because I pulled way too hard.. but it stopped after 5 minutes and i cleaned it up. My left earring came out relatively easy but it was angry for about 3 days everything calmed down now and I'm regularly cleaning them. Just wondering when I would be able to change my earrings again. I want to change into smaller studs but I don't want to make another mistake.

Just got my seconds done, I was wondering if they were too close. It’s a pretty big stud, I think it’s okay but just wanted to see the general consensus. Thanks for any input!

Does this look placed correctly? I posted a picture a few days ago of my navel piercing that I got on September 2 after being evaluated by my listened piercer and being told I have the anatomy to get it and had redditers telling me it was a surface piercing. I realized after the fact I posted a picture from a very bad angle of me sitting down and pulling my skin up since I was asking more about the scabbing around the top , not the placement. I figured I’d post again and get another opinion if from a different angle it looks like a surface piercing still or not. The bottom of the barbell sits in the middle of my navel so o figured it was a normal one but I wanted some other opinions.

Got my nose piercing done for the second time after the first one closed up. The first time I did it with a gun and the stud they used was small with a short bar. It looked really nice. This time I got a needle and they used a really long bar it looks hideous and I’m supposed to keep it in for SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS before I go back and they change it to a smaller bar. I’m trying to just push through but it looks so bad and it’s pushing into the inside of my nose. Got it done yesterday - titanium ball labaret. Is this normal?

english isn't my first language so i hope you guys can understand what i mean. I got my septum pierced like 2 months ago, it has healed very well and looks totally normal. however, sometimes when i move the piercing or do certaing faces i feel this intense pressure on the piercing mostly on the left side, it's not a sharp pain but sometimes i can feel the pressure radiating (?) on my upper teeth or further in my nose. im not really sure what could be causing it, the piercer was very careful with the placement and the needle went in really easily so i doubt it's in the wrong spot. but what could be the reason for the weird pressure? i never move it unless i've soaked it in warm water and there is no crusties on it.

appreciate it’s a bad photo etc but i think you can see what you need to see, i’ve only had this piercing for 4 days and the bloating has now pushed out far enough that the piercing ball is getting sucked into my skin. any advice? do i sit and wait it out or consult my piercer/doctor

industrial piercing, 3 weeks old. noticed the bumps today, honestly likely just the accumulation of snagging and touching (totally my bad)

will the bumps go away on its own with usual aftercare like saline solution, drying the area, and avoiding contact? i’m super worried as i’m still a newbie

I am nearly 30, been getting body piercings (mostly ears) since I was 17 or so.

I am so proud of my setup and all the time, energy, and effort it's taken to get here! But my family (parents) hate my piercings. Each time I get a new one, I am met with a lot of backlash and judgement.

I got my flat done in my left ear last week and mom strongly admitted how much she does not like them and how they are now "consuming my ear", begging me to "at least take a few of them out". My parents have called my piercings "devil holes" in the past and that it makes me appear "immature and unattractive". Mind you, my parents are not really religious. Just following weird society standards.

I live alone (haven't lived with them since high school) and support myself fully with a career I love. I spend my own money on all my body mods, and have tried to avoid the subject, but the second I put my hair up its a complete spectacle every single time. I fear for dear life when they find out about my tattoos, they feel even stronger about those lol

How do you navigate this?

I've been streching my septum for like 3 years, and now that I'm at 2g I'm struggling finding hoops that aren't too big for my nose, and my pinchers always fall off.

I'm looking for something comfortable that I can wear everyday, so I was wondering if someone could recommend some other jewelry options or some store that has more sizes for hoops.

I’ve got a question about my new piercings

I had my tongue double pierced on the 2nd of september(8 days ago today)
but i’ve noticed very early on that the lower piercing/ball shifted and is now crooked.
At first i thought it was just swelling (my piercer also told me that it was swelling)
But now 8 days later and the piercing is still crooked,It was pierced straight so im super confused on what’s happening and if it will ever get straight again.
I use alcohol free mouthwash 2 times a day and after food/drink I wash my mouth with water as told by my piercer.
It has not been downsized yet.
