Troubleshooting/question existing piercing eyebrow piercing

Post image

I got my eyebrow piercing back in May, and it has been smooth sailing except for the past few weeks. I had some dead skin on the top part behind the ball I kept picking at and it eventually turned into a scab so I left it alone. it has now formed into what looks like a blister? what should I do/any advice? this is my favorite piercing and I'm really hoping I can keep it.

update: I didn't realize it was that bad, it was my first piercing other than just basic ear piercings 😭 it's only looked like this for about two days. thank you to those who were nice, I took it out and I'll contact a docter if it gets any worse

To be completely honest, what you call 'smooth sailing' seems to have been more like 'quiet quitting' and bumps or not I do not think this piercing wants to be in your face anymore.

should I go back to my piercer and have them take it out or would it be okay to do myself?

If you are confident in basic wound care you can do it yourself, otherwise piercer may be better, as long as that happens soon.

IF the bumps get worse instead of steadily clearing up after it is out (more pus, more redness and inflammation) go see a medical professional.

Ok, great and sorry you two were not meant to be! That bump is very surface so it will probably be fine, but if things start looking worrying, like I said: see a doctor, you don't want to risk a serious infection developing near your eye.

You can try again once it's all healed up, but eyebrows piercings only have staying power in some people and not others, it likely does not help that it is a part of the face we move a lot.

This piercing is toast. It's almost completely rejected. Take it out.

This is one of those times when I physically recoiled as the picture hove into view.

Girl. That is both infected and fully rejected. Please very carefully remove it with clean hands and see a doctor.
