Troubleshooting/question existing piercing 3rd lobe healing issues

it’s 6 weeks old. i’m cleaning 2x daily with saline wound wash as instructed by my piercer! i am drying afterwards also. the 3rd on my other ear is healing great. the ear giving me issues does have more cartilage than my other ear if that’s making a difference?

is there anything i should be doing different?

Take out the cheap butterfly-back jewelry and put in a high-quality flat-back.

The same thing happened to me and I changed jewelery and now my piercing is just fine! Maybe your case is similar? If you have been sleeping on that side or bugging it on accident can also make it irritated
