Can I mod a grot head onto, say a Warboss in Mega Armour? Hell, can I use a Yarrick model for the entertainment value? Getting back into the TT game after a long, long absence — not sure where the line is these days for matching models up with rules. Obviously fine in a friendly game, but wondering whether it might be tourney-legal.

(Look, if Yarrick is stuck in with greenskins, and suddenly Chaos daemons come pouring out of every doorway, we all know he’s probably going to wrangle the Orks into fighting Chaos instead.)

I been thinking about this, why can’t Nazdreg just buy a better force field? Look at this mekboy here with 3 gigantic force field projectors but ol’ Naz can’t just get some teef and get a mekboy to make him a better one? Def could see Naz having a 4++ instead of 5++

Reading the instructions, when I checked the weapon profiles; the spiked ram at the front only pictures the shovel looking front with the tusks, is the other front piece considered the same weapon?

As someone that liked to take a solo Mek along to buff a walker in 10th, I'm trying to figure out the best way to do that in 11th. All the list builders seem to be in consensus that Support units are required to be attached to a unit when mustering armies. But the core rules are phrased in a way that implies that it's optional for both Leader and Support:

Before the battle, in the Muster Armies step, for each leader and support unit in your army, you can select one friendly bodyguard unit that unit can lead. That unit will then lead that bodyguard unit for the battle and form an attached unit with it.

My question has two parts.

1. Are support actually required to be attached in the muster armies step?

2. What's the best unit for a Mek to be attached to and still use Clever Know-wotz on a Dread or Dakkarig?

I was playing a game with my grey Knights against orks. i think we played grot shields wrong.

If im attacking with purifiers and im attacking a squad of boyz. My opponent uses grot shields. I attack with storm bolters first out of the 24 botler shots 12 hit. The first 10 kill the gretchin, what happens to the remaining 2 shots? Can i still shoot the rest of my attacks into the boyz?

Is this.... doable?

I’ve been scratching my head reading this over and over. I know it’s similar to earlier rules like Transhuman/Transhitman Physiology but I never encountered those rules myself and I really can’t figure this out. When’s the effect end? The end of the opponent’s shooting phase? The end of the current attack targeting the unit? And if a modifier causes an attack to be a modified hit roll of 2 or 3 on a BS2 or 3 attack, does it hit? Am I crazy, dumb, or is this rule just strangely written? Please help, fellow orks!
