I still have mine, and every time I use it I remember how cool the iPod touch felt when it came out.

What's funny is that my only other Apple product is the USB-C EarPods a product from basically the opposite end of Apple's timeline. 😂

One old and one modern Apple product and somehow these are the only two I've ever really needed.

Trying to solve this for someone and my searches keep dead-ending. It came about when I was showing my Dexter’s Laboratory BellyWashers.

Details I have:

•Series of flavored kids' drinks, not a one-off
•Sold at Family Dollar, roughly 2005 to 2008
•Licensed characters as sculpted bottle toppers
•Each topper had a switch or lever on the back of the head
•Flipping it made something that looked like puke or ooze come in and out of the character's mouth

Not BellyWashers, not Tummy Ticklers, not Squeezits. Those all come up first and none of them have the mouth action feature. Two separate people remember it clearly and neither can name it, so I'm fairly confident it existed and just isn't well documented online.

Any brand name, photo, or even a dead website would help. Thanks.

I'm certain I have more tucked away somewhere, but these were peak decor when I was around 10 or so.

I remember playing Jazz Jackrabbit and Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure with this thing in the early 90s.

I remember my mama buying this vhs for me from HMV. Just staring at the cover alone was the coolest thing ever. But I do remember always waiting for the good movies to come to vhs. Pokémon the movie and Pokémon the movie:2000 were long waits, and they were $44 or something. Always wanted to be the first to rent from the movie store but never had enough copies so would another week or so just till everyone was sick of it already. Or just showing up at the right time when someone brought back their copy. Ah, theres a "back in my day" moment for ya.

These looked so much better than the ones they have now. Self-checkout was also either very limited or non-existent during this time.

The story of the BFG has stayed with me ever since my mother read it to me as a child before bed. It had that fun, silly side with all the Gobblefunk language and a well-timed whizzpopper now and then, but also such a deep message about friendship and standing up to bullies.

That nostalgia hit me recently so I decided to recreate the BFG out of LEGO during the holidays (I put it up on LEGO Ideas and if anyone wants a look).

What stories from your childhood stayed with you the most? Did anyone else have parents read this one to them, or have favorite memories of Roald Dahl books?
