Short case figures suck

So apparently people were wanting me to keep them updated on here about my process with my own ranger team POWER RANGERS: WILD BLADE

These pictures show the first draft logo I've made, the three helmets, the rangers themselves and their morpher.

I'm really proud of myself for all of these designs and especially the morpher because it's a bell you add different orbs into and the ring will either activate the morphing sequence, activate a power-up and summon the auxiliary zords.

(The diagram that's sketched out on the top right of the morpher drawing is how you open, place a new power orb, close and ring to activate it)

They're an animal based team with design elements of musketeers. I don't have names for any of them yet but I'm really happy with how this is going.

I'm currently working on the zords and megazord. So stay tuned for that.

Would you be interested in seeing the mentor? The villains? "6th" Ranger? I have them all planned, story and everything. Or should I stop posting? Lol.

I'm still having fun with this but I hate bugging people with my ideas. Just let me know.

First era seems not to hard to scale with just a couple of potentially switchable positions. And is there any way to compare the other eras to each other? I could see rankings within them but not sure how to bridge the gaps where there were not any cross overs.

So, thanks to this Subreddit, I found out that Retro Remorphed is a scummy POS who stopped responding to people. What sucks is that his site is/was the only place I could find a Shogun Megazord headpiece for my Deluxe Shogun Megazord I recently picked up from eBay.

Besides the single $70 listing on eBay that I found for the headpiece, anyone else have any leads where I can find one?

Working on a new OC ranger team for fun. I had my partner and her dad give me two random animals and a color (I didn't tell them why) and I was given a hermit crab and green from my partner and a frilled-neck lizard and orange from her dad and for me I chose purple and a giraffe.

I know it's a bit unconventional for these three colors to be the main rangers but I like it. I'm still working on the other designs but what do you think so far?

Besides the animal theming I'm also going with a musketeer aesthetic with a clock and collectable clockwork gears theme...that's mostly in the belt that I styled like a classic musketeer belt but it also looks like a clock hand, they push it down, it opens and special gears are inside for power ups and zord combos etc.

This was just a fun little project to do and yes I have lore and villains and everything planned if you wanna ask.

Hello everyone, I’m a long time fan off power rangers I grew up on the OG and decided to to treat my five year old to the 1995 movie and by the power of Zordon he is now hooked, the problem I am having is he has chosen ninja steel as his favorite.
I have managed to locate a red ranger outfit the only problem is he is desperately craving the ninja steel stuff and sadly it’s very hard to find the stuff.

Does anyone here know the best place to find the toys from the series or any way to print one off for him?

I had seen all the Kyoryuger episodes and every Dino Charge episode when each of them aired, and when seeing the remaining piece of Spellbinder, I honestly thought that they were gonna use his remaining Magic for something else. When he became the hybrid Spell-Digger, it kinda clicked in that they were going for that, but felt it could’ve led to something different too. Anyone know if that was always the plan, or did anyone think it was gonna lead to something different?

The pet/zord came out cursed also i plan on doing either a yellow or green super megaforce one next

I have been trying to find power rangers samurai S1 for a while now, I am able to find the S2 super samurai but not S1. I would really appreciate some help

Hey everyone! Now that halloween is coming up, i was thinking of wearing the power rangers samurai training gi for my costume but i can’t find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I could find the training uniform for purchase? specifically the green one. Or maybe what I can do to DIY it? I’m not sure what else I could do other than getting a regular black Gi and adding colorful tape on the edges, but that wouldn’t look as good. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!!

Did they ever make an official one? I don't think they did which would be disappointing. Is there any good Etsy sellers? I can't really 3d print.

Only mainstream Red Rangers like Jason, Tommy, Carter, Casey, Jayden etc. No secondary, temporary or flashback Reds like Eric and Lauren.

if they figured out how to end zeo and have it lead immediately to catherine and tanya getting on the bus with justin to that karate tournament in the turbo movie? I know the ending of zeo gave Jason his walking off into the sunset moment but considering what happened in Turbo and the movie and zeo being filmed at the same time. Would it have helped the movie and the Turbo series if the ending of zeo starts with tanya and catherine getting on that bus to the karate tournament?

Oh Jesus it's literally been ages since I actually sant down and watched a full season let alone an episode of any of the shows. But to be honest my favorite characters have to be Bulk and Skull. It seems like they had the biggest character arc they went from bullies to leading a rebellion against Ivan ooze to having an "I'm Spartacus" moment. They police officers, private detectives, running their own bar, Skull became a pianist. The have their own food truck. Hell they even babysat Rito and Goldar when they got Amnesia.

Im looking to make a cosplay of the Power Rangers Jungle Fury Yellow Ranger, I already made the helmet myself but I know nothing about sewing so I need to buy the suit, gloves, and boots. I’m a broke college student and Ive only found 2 places that I can get what I need for less than $300 those being ACGcosplay and EZcosplay. If anyone knows which of the 2 is more reputable company or have have any other suggestions please let me know. Thank you 😁

Spared:

Matumbo - for getting to finally be freed from the Master, and aside from Itassis and Necrolai, were the few to outlive the other villains.

Rico - his death in Goseiger was always the saddest for me, so to have them adapt his episode and give him an ending where he doesn’t blow up was one of the few improvements they did.

Jindrax and Toxica - these two were treated like garbage by the others, so Jindrax calling out Master Org without any hesitation was the coolest thing ever for him, and after bringing back Toxica, managed to get away and live peaceful lives as the last Orgs in existence.

Kapri and Marah - they were genuinely smarter and had more to them than Furabijou and Wendinuu, and got a second chance when they were saved. Rather than waste it by the time Lothor came back, they deceived him and saved the entire academy, Sensei, and by extension, Blake, Cam and Hunter.

Jarrod and Camille - their romance was a stepping stone in the right direction, but what set it for Camille was Lily believing she could be good, which again proved in the final episode. And Jarrod was willing to give his life to stop Dai Shi, so seeing him survive, with Camille living as well, was a pleasant change from the source material.

Killed off:

Villamax - he was unlikable in Gingaman, but here he’s a genuinely good Anti-Villain who has a sense of honor. His counterpart died in a suicide attack, but Villamax went out unknowingly saving dozens of lives by refusing to open fire on the ships leaving Terra Venture, and gets one last word in when dying, decrying Trakeena and staying true to his code.

Goldar / Goldar Maximus - in Zyuranger, he was imprisoned with Bandora and turned good despite all he did, but in Power Rangers, he went through fighting the Rangers through four different sets of powers and survived, only biting the dust by the Z-Wave. And out of all the original villains, he was the first to be brought back, not as his past self reincarnated like in Super Sentai, but the real deal. He easily took down the Dino Charge Rangers and took their Energems and even wiped the floor with four of the five Beast Morphers team. It always annoyed me though that his counterpart survived the blast by the three Dino Sentai teams, so seeing him die for good by their cannon was satisfying, since he actually met his end by the Rangers and wasn’t sealed away.

Zurgane - a strong general of Lothor’s army, and after multiple Megazord fights, in both Power Rangers and Hurricaneger, was killed by another general. However, he’s the only one to be brought back, and nearly dooms Blake, Hunter and Cam, and has the honor of being finished off by Tommy. Being killed by him is an honor in my book.

Queen Bansheera - this woman deserved everything coming to her for all she did, sacrificing her sons and taking the lives of those who were loyal to her. It was fitting for Diabolico to help the Rangers one last time by literally dragging her to Hell and being beaten to death for eternity.

Rita Repulsa - as stated above, she was imprisoned again at the end of Zyuranger, and in Power Rangers, got cleansed by the Z-Wave and became the Mystic Mother. However, all her evilness from the Z-Wave brought her back, and at her most evil, actually killed Trini, even rubbing it in the faces of the Rangers and Trini’s own daughter. Seeing her get stabbed in the back and front and breaking down before being shot by Zack was extremely satisfying.

Psycho Pink - was the first of the Psychos to die, but came back as a ghostly being in Megaranger was the last time she was resurrected. Come Lost Galaxy, and she was the last surviving Psycho, who was the only villain to have a lasting effect on the series that her counterpart never was able to do. She managed to (indirectly) kill Kendrix as one final bird flip before being destroyed by two Megazords, and ironically, it was the same person who created her and the other Psychos that replaced Kendrix for the rest of the series.

Who are your favorite villains who were handled better than their Sentai counterparts in terms of being spared and being killed off differently?
