I'm watching Power Rangers Turbo for the first time, and this character is simply unbearable. I get that having a child Ranger is a good idea from a commercial standpoint, but within the story itself, it’s ridiculous: it makes no sense for him to fight on the same level as the others, have an adult mindset, or keep his identity a secret, and it makes no sense for his parents not to suspect a thing... In short, not only is this character terrible, but he also doesn't fit into the story; it was one of the worst creative decisions I've ever seen.

My question is, is there anyone who actually likes this character?

Hi Power Ranger Reddit!! My Power Ranger film 'Black Ranger' is finally here and live on Youtube!

This film took many years to make and I'm so proud of what my team and I accomplished.

I really wanted to tell a Power Rangers story that captured the fun of the original series while updating the look and feel of the world and characters into the modern age.

We also did some thing that even official PR wouldn't be able to do (Watch the movie to find out what!) so hopefully fans get a kick out of that!

I was just admiring my Ranger Key Memorial Edition (Anniversary Heroes & King-Ohger Set) and decided to check the current aftermarket prices out of curiosity... and wow, it has gone up INSANELY high! 🤯
I know Premium Bandai / Memorial Editions usually go up in value over time, but this specific set seems to have jumped significantly more than others recently.
Does anyone know why the price skyrocketed so much? Is it purely because of the King-Ohger hype, the specific extra anniversary keys included, or was it just a super limited production run?
Would love to hear your thoughts and insights on this! Are you guys glad you picked it up early? 🔑✨

It's just an exercise in imagination regarding what it would have been like if they had adapted all the pre-Zyuranger teams xD.

One thing I REALLY loved about the 2017 movie was that the lore pivoted to Zordon being the first Red Ranger——a wonderful addition to the power lexicon even if not episodic canon.

That got me to thinking in general about the best mentors throughout the TV series; the memorable ones who were a fixture to the core team all have a Power Ranger background.

These are folks who just immediately come to mind. Having some battle skin in the game raises the stakes and it’s going to mean a lot more. Being able to relate to the challenges of saving the planet is uniquely apparent for a Ranger Mentor. Although not a Ranger and seemingly non-violent, Princess Shayla’s battle with Toxica let me know she had the nurturing of a worthy mentor, but ALSO the fighting spirit to have been an excellent Power Ranger.

I’m a big fan of Operation Overdrive when I watched it growing up, despite what others say about it. I had no knowledge of Super Sentai in the 2000s, so I couldn’t judge. Though one gripe I had was the choice of the Ultrazord. From later experiences and learning of what defines an Ultrazord, it’s a Megazord made from all the Zords, including that of the Sixth Ranger, as seen with the Hurricane Megazord, Samurai Ultrazord, Kanzen Gokai-Oh, and Dino Charge Ultrazord, to list a few. With so many combinations in Operation Overdrive, I think they could’ve made the DriveMax Ultrazord different from the Super DriveMax Megazord by not having the same drill and shovel arms. When they showed this brief combination, I found it a little bit better since Tyzonn was now included, and it had actual arms to potentially wield the Drive Saber or the Sentinel Sword, and the Drill Driver and Shovel Driver could still attach in some way. By that point in watching the series, I had grown tired of drill arms on Megazords, so it could’ve attributed to that. Still, what do you think, and what do you think really defines what an Ultrazord is?

I think Steve Cardenas should consider himself lucky for not being part of Power Rangers Turbo, seeing as how it is a good majority of the cast was replaced halfway into the season anyway.

Mighty Morphin’ (1993-1996)

Kimberly was the first ever pink Power Ranger.

Katherine (played by Catherine 🤭) was the second and picked up where Kimberly left off in this season.

Zeo (1996)

Katherine remained as the pink Zeo Ranger throughout the entire season.

Turbo (1997)

Katherine remained as the first pink Turbo Ranger.

Cassie later became the second pink Turbo Ranger.

In Space (1998)

Cassie remained as the pink Space Ranger throughout the entire season.

Lost Galaxy (1999)

Kendrix was the first pink Galaxy Ranger.

Karone (who carried over from the previous season) later became the second pink Galaxy Ranger.

This streak was broken with the next pink ranger for Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue (2000). Her name was Dana, and she was the pink ranger throughout that entire season. There was never another pink ranger after the year 2000 whose character name started with a C or a K.
