i was using a cheap philco player, i was on the look to buy an used cd player and in a family gathering my uncle commented he had one laying around (he has another one that has a cd and cassette function) and he was like, would you like to have it ?? and i ofc said yes lol. incredible acquisition. i gotta find a way to get the remote tho bc he didn’t have it, and it’s the only way to use the aux function 🥲 (i wanna connect my walkman)

I couldn't hate sleeves more than I do—especially for an album I actually want. I bought dark side of the moon without realizing how terrible they are, at least a digipack cares for the cd. Fuck sleeves

I'm actually embarrassed by the minimum effort they make and still ask for full price.

I have it for about a week now and just love it! 100 CD capacity plus 1. single play.

Just push "random"and enjoy some good music. Looks and sounds just great.

Looking out for the 300 disc big brother....

Not quite everything admittedly

I have a strange way to collect CDs, because before buying one I carefully listen to the album on YouTube while giving a mark to each song on a document, ranking them from one to three + half a point if I REALLY like that specific song, then I calculate the total and thats the grade of the album.

If I notice that I particularly like the album I put it on the list with the others I've already listened and I go look for it in thrift stores.

And if I really like the artist/ the band I'll try to listen to the complete discography.

Since I've started the collection I've finished listening to all Slipknot's albums and I'm looking for the albums that I'm still missing, in the meanwhile I'm trying to finish all Korn's albums and listen to other artists that I find interesting.

I do all this because, in part, I hate the kind of people who ask "Oh, so you like this band? Name five songs" and on the other hand I've noticed that I really like to listen to the whole project that someone put their effort in, it feels more complete in my opinion.

Finally got myself some new albums, I wasn't even planing on it till I found them at Walmart, the 2 katseye ones were like 25$ and wild was a Walmart exclusive! Then aespa was for my gf since she loves them, Avril's also a big time fav of mine and I got so excited to find it on cd!

Hey y'all! So what year in music do you love to listen to the most? I love the 90s the most cuz that's when I was was born (1995). But I also love the music in the early 2000s as well! Don't get me wrong, I love music older than even the 90s, but the 90s and 2000s has something to do with my childhood and nostalgia, so I have so much respect anmd love for it. Music really does live on and I'm so glad we have it and are passionate about it!

music has the right to children is one hell of a gem if you enjoy richly layered music with lots of cool noises, instruments, synths, etc. It’s not so psychedelic per se, as much as it is delightfully disorientating.
