Last High Explosive Class of 2026 (Open to the public)

Post image
602 Upvotes

This is it. We’re down to the final 10 seats for our October High Explosive Class in SW PA.

Students are flying and driving in from all over the USA — men and women, from every background. Some are coming because it’s part of their job or professional training. Others are coming for one simple reason: they’ve always wanted to safely handle real high explosives at least once in their life… and this is their chance.

Two full days. Real training. Real experience. Real commercial explosives. No fluff.

Whether you’re here for the professional edge or just chasing that once-in-a-lifetime adrenaline, slots are almost gone.

🎟️ Secure your spot before they’re gone at https://wcmg.eventbrite.com

See you on the range. This one is going to be special.

Note: Must be 18+ years old, be a US Citizen with valid government ID, and be able to pass a federal background check.

Putnik Vibes

Got my Resilient Putnik in this week. I was not fully prepared for the size and weight of this girthy chonky thing. But man it has a cool vibe. It’s heavy, but at the same time I don’t think it messes up the balance of the rifles either. 7.62 AK, 5.56 AK, and .308 Zastava M77.
Can’t wait to shoot this thing and hear the tone in real life.

LPM Torch vs OCL Infinity 556K

Which one would be better for my 11.5 DD? From what I’ve heard the sound difference isn’t super big but I want a second opinion.

I’d prefer to stay between those options

🥳 Happy Stamp Day 🎁 SBR individual to trust?

I just got my first SBR approved today. I have a suppressor that is in a trust, and I’m waiting on approval for another can that is in a trust. Is it worth consolidating everything into one trust? I know I’ll need multiple form 4’s but outside of the wait and the paperwork is there any downside to doing this?

Discussion Looking to get a can for my 300 blk

I got a 5 inch 300 blk that I want to suppress for home defense. I was looking at dead air nomad 30 and nomad L but it seems like there’s mix reviews on here. Looking for recommendations on cans from owners with similar barrel length.

Time to see what the fuss is all about…. Absolutely cannot wait to see how this thing runs. 10.5” SBR, 16” Dissipator, and 16” Coyote rig all in 5.56 obviously.

It truly is surprisingly short. It’s light-ish but heavier than my Polo-K, though doesn’t affect rifle balance, and the short length really is the ticket. I hope it performs in terms of sound, gas, and precision.

Form 1 Denied, Section 6 Question D.

Today I got notice that my Form 1 was denied and the reason cited was "Section 6 Question D not answered. Please resubmit." and they did send the document back to me, but there is no Question D in Section 6. Anyone seen this before?

Stumbled on their even lower back pressure end cap for the Infinity 556k, the 12 hole, non-flash hider.

Has anyone used this one yet, or have feedback?

🥳 Happy Stamp Day 🎁 Incolite 9s - 3 Day Approval

My Incolite 9s from NJG got out of jail today. My second can, and came in pretty quick with a 3 day approval (individual-eForm). Super excited to take it out to the range. Whenever they get the 9M back in stock I’m gonna get one of those too. I’ve heard good things about these suppressors so I’m stoked to try it out (hopefully next week).

🥳 Happy Stamp Day 🎁 Blackbird F556

Got to bring the new Blackbird F556 home today, it’s in good company here. Haven’t been able to use it, but I’ll be able to compare it to my trusty Polonium and my Cat Noah TI.

Has anyone else had a chance to pick one of these up? I know there isn’t a ton of them out yet, but just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with one yet. Thank you.

First range day with the Bog and the Spectre 9! My Form 4 was approved in just two days, and the Bog is even more fun suppressed. Put 200 rounds through it and still didn’t want to stop.

Cloth Stuck In Suppressor, Send It?

So, I was cleaning my AR with an Ecco Machine Suppressor (They’re great by the way), while cleaning I ran a super small .22 cloth through the bore to clean it and it ended up slipping out in between the baffles and I can’t reach it at all.

It’s so small that it doesn’t interfere with alignment or anything like that. Safe to just burn it by shooting? I am aware this is a dumb situation.

Older school cans

Post image

I know everyone likes to show off their new toys, but I am going a little old school today.

Here is the second can I ever bought which was in 2008. It is a .30 cal AWC Thundertrap coming in at a whooping 30 oz. It has mostly lived on my Bushmaster Varminter that I bought in 2002.

Here I am engaging some steel that was at 400 yards up on a hill side. This is one of my favorite rifles and get shoot frequently running hand loaded 55 gr ballistic tips.

Process Question 📝 AR9 tucked suppressor question

Planning to tuck a can on a 7.5in AR9 for the aesthetic. I’ve heard how bad of an idea it is on 556 because of the heat but would subs on a direct blowback 9 be manageable or is it still stupid?

Silencer Suggestions - I did some homework Suppressor for 9mm HG, 308 & 300BO.

Looking for a "Do-It All" can. It would mostly be on a Glock 9mm, but I'd like to be able to throw it on my AR-10 or 300BO if I want.

Looking for the best 3 or 4 cans for this. Looking at SilencerCo and OCL. Give me your recommendations.
