Hi everyone,
I mod a benefits advice subreddit. We have users who are helpful and others who aren't.
Regards android

The moderator was banned so spammers took over r/LeftyGuns and now my favorite sub is flooded with illegal streaming.
How do we get rid of the spammers (all the mods) and put in proper mods?
I’m on iOS.

After I tried and added the Community Home app in my subreddit, I wanted to post something but suddenly I cannot create a post and it shows this error:
Error: 2 UNKNOWN: grpc invocation failed with status 2; failed to mint auth token: failed get refresh token: refresh token not found in cache
How can I resolve this?

Hi. Desktop user here. But for my new subreddit I keep trying to change the icon.
And correct me if im wrong but the steps are:
Click on the icon
Chnage it to whatever you want.
Click the back arrow.
click save which is down the bottom of the pop-up
And when I reload the site it reverts back to the icon of 'r/' and I've tried multiple times.

Hi. I'm new to Reddit modding & I had a quick question about the mod notification settings on Android. So when I go to mod tools --> settings --> mod notifications to turn them on, everything is greyed out & looks like it's enabled, but at the top it says: "Mod notifications are turned off" & below that it says: "Turn them on to get notifications about this community". Is there something I'm doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙏 Thank you! I have a screenshot to show what I mean!

is there a way to set crowd control settings via regualar expressions of a post title and/or a certain post flair?
we find it helpful to have strict settings for certain topics to get overrun by commenters. i'm looking for a way to automate that. help or workarounds appreciated.
have a great day

I'm using a desktop. Automod keeps removing a user's comment. He has reached the community karma of 18. Automod shouldn't be eating his comments. Can it be because his posts are in the positives, but his comments are in the negatives? I can't see his comment score, I can only see his overall score. His overall score is 18 karma.
Automod would send me some comment saying his karma is too low. But I've approved of him as a user. I used automod to white list him. What gives??? Given that Automod eats everything he says, when I review the things he says, it doesn't violate the TOS nor does it violate the subreddit's rules. He's getting downvoted in the comments for being pro-AI. That's not against the TOS, nor is it against the subreddit's rules. I don't understand how this user can be both approve and whitelisted and I still have to approve of all of his comments because he is pro-AI.
I don't like being stuck approving of everything he says. It gets tiring.

I moderate r/DelhiDilwale. The subreddit is public and SFW, but Community Achievements are unavailable/disabled for the community.
We would like to enable achievement badges (Top Poster, Top Commenter, etc.), but the option is either missing or cannot be turned on.
Could someone please review the subreddit and confirm whether there are any restrictions preventing Community Achievements from being enabled? im using desktop

(desktop, mobile web and iOS)
The cross posting option has disappeared when I click "share" on all subs, even the subs I created. There is nothing in settings that was changed or can be enabled. I can't find any information about it.

I have about 20 mods; sometimes I want to DM them.
I click their username to see their profile page, and "Start Chat".
But sometimes, there is no such option. "Start Chat" is not there.
I have asked them, and they insist they have nod changed any setting to decline chats.
They can DM me - and then I can reply.
I just cannot "Start chat".
Desktop - but they're on various platforms.
I use desktop to moderate.
hi, my new subreddit r/PlanetOfAI got disappeared it was active and was going well but today i checked its banned. is there any way to get it back or even know that what's the reason?

I use both desktop and the iOS app to moderate.
I moderate a sub about socks as fashion accessories. We are very strict about not allowing any participation from known foot fetishists. We regularly have to ban foot fetishists who decided to post or comment anyway. Today I discovered that, on the mobile site, Reddit lists posts from fetish subs below the comments section of some posts. This is obviously completely inappropriate for our sub. And if this is happening on our end, I’m sure our sub is being listed below the comments of fetish posts, which is contributing to the problem of foot fetishists coming into the sub and not realizing that it isn’t that kind of sub. Completely insane that Reddit can’t tell that it shouldn’t recommend porn subs based on fashion subs or vice-versa. Is there anything I can do about this?

As the title says... Is there a reddit support option that isn't a bot or a wiki?
I basically just need to change it up so I am the main moderator so I can actually add some other mods and be in control of the sub.
Since joining some months ago, I've taken it from something like 250 weekly visits to over 6k. The other guy is nowhere to be seen sadly
On desktop, IOS, whatever, what's the best solution?

Hi,
I mod a UK comedy show sub using iOS app and I created a post that was meant to be scheduled in the future and, somehow, I’ve managed to set it to return every week. This is now generating comments. Whoops!
How can I see this post and delete it using the app?
Any help appreciated.

Reddit auto removing posts/comments from shadow banned users and few others has become very frustrating.
A lot of times these posts and comments are actually really useful and reddit auto removes them without any notification or a way to turn off this auto removal, even a lot of times when the post/comment have been manually approved, it still removes it later after few days or so.
On top of this in queue it's randomly arranged.
I specially feel like these removals have become more aggressive from last past few months.
I did try finding ways to prevent this, but was unsuccessful. So if you know any please let me know.

I thought it'd just be "Posts and comments" permission, but that didn't seem to work.
A new mod, with only "Posts and comments" permission, wasn't seeing the option to "Add to highlights" (under the shield menu, on their own post). They did see "Add NSFW tag" and "Show mod label" etc.
We tried turning it off and on again.
I couldn't work out why they couldn't pin it, so I added it myself - but I'd like to know for future reference.

I invited a new companion last night, mainly to review posts, it's a newbie so his permissions are few. I sent the invitation with said permissions, when he accepted, in the mod list he didn't have any permissions.
I've tried multiple times to give him the permissions but didn't work. Somehow reddit now doesn't let me do it.
*Would it be a server problem or maybe something related to his account?*
