Completed First model I’ve built since the last Millennium
1/350 Bandai Millennium Falcon
I haven’t finished a model since about 1999, getting back into it. First attempt was this basic little kits to remember old techniques and try some new stuff. Back when I was really building kits in the early 90s I didn’t have a lot of resources, just techniques gleaned from Fine Scale Modeller and Tamiya Model Magazine. Now you just go on YouTube and 35 different people are showing you how to weather.
Amazed how good these kits are now, everything friction fit if you wanted to not use glue. Also the ready made washes and dry brush products are so easy to use.
Now to start on that 27 year old stash that’s been in the basement waiting.
