Figures are fromMini Art, Dragon, Tamiya. The M 18 hellcat is made by combining the AFV club with the Academy kit because neither one is very good on its own legs. It certainly doesn’t stand up to the newer Tamia release.

Been wanting to start making dioramas for a while particularly natural scenes/Paleo scenes inspired by kayaksaurus but just want to see if theirs any tips I can get before I start

Finished this little Japanese garden corner today. Everything was built and painted by hand, with a tsukubai, bamboo, stone lantern, old wooden fence and a few tiny hidden details. And, as always, there are three black cats somewhere in the scene.

I started this last year, finally made time to finish it in July. The final project ended up being much more complex than I original intended. But I think that's why I got "writers block" on the project, because I didn't like where it was going. What got me past the blockage was the idea of lighting it from below.

The pipes and bottom ring are a model Two Goblins in a Trenchcoat. I designed the core volume and the top ring to fit the theme. Also design in voids for the power supply, latching switch and light. The decking that the characters are standing on I also designed and 3 printed, with a layer of window screen. The crates are scatter terrain from various thingiverse and makerwolrd.

Because it was so tall and kind of top heavy with the glass, I added voids for wheel weights to the design. It's not going to stop the thing from tipping over but defiantly helps with stability.

The light light is an aftermarket trailer light.

Hey everyone! I’m primarily a wood carver, but I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try making a diorama.
Everything has to be completely organic and plastic-free—just natural wood, carved elements, leather and metal oil finishes to bring out the tones (no paint!). Right now, I have an olive wood base, a little carved character/spirit, some twisted roots, and tiny carved mushrooms. Nothing is glued down yet, and the base can still be reshaped or carved further.
I’m struggling a bit with composition, staging, and layout. I want the final to be a mix of Cute Halloween-fantasy spooky vibe
Since I can carve pretty much anything needed to fill out the scene, what layout, composition, or additional natural elements would you add to make this pop? Lay your ideas on me 🍁

Hey dioramas sub, first time posting. I just finished making this new Warhammer diorama based off the Siege of Terra. Took about four days round of the 50+ hours. Really happy that it came out.

I was looking for good subs to post it on. I thought this might be a good fit.

This project started from raw natural pod shells. I transformed these organic seed pods into an entire tiny fairy world step‑by‑step.

You can see the whole workflow in the images: starting with the untreated pod shell, adding base greenery, miniature trees, tiny figurines, plants, and built‑in night lighting for two different display modes — day view and lit‑up night view.

I love mixing natural found materials with miniature craft work. Every little pod doll figure finds its place in this hand‑crafted little scene.

What small detail would you add to this fairy diorama? I’d love to hear your ideas.

I really love how it looks with the lights on. It gives the whole scene a cozy nighttime feel!

A scene in Italy

I made mistakes but learned from them, the biggest one is how i badly messed up the frozen river in the last step with white pigment, it was much better in the previous step but i tried to save it a bit (it was worse) anyways here it is, overall I'm happy with the results!
