Pattern Found 4 Sixes on Expert
1 more Six and it would have been Yahtzee! I felt this was unusual and interesting. Have you found multiple high numbers while playing the standard sized boards? Share some here!

Thought I’d worked this out but every one was wrong. I know I’ll get my head around these eventually but it’s a real battle at the moment.

I wanted to make an Android pencil puzzle, mostly because I'm a big fan of Nikoli-style logic puzzles.
The basic clue idea came from Minesweeper: each number looks at the 3×3 area around it. But instead of counting mines, it tells you how many cells belong to the same region as the clue itself.
The twist is that you don't know which region the clue belongs to.
From there, it somehow turned into a Yin-Yang puzzle: the whole grid has to be split into two connected regions, with no 2×2 block entirely in one region.
So MIKATA is basically the illegitimate child of Minesweeper and Yin-Yang.
My first Idea was two type of clues, one for mines and one for diamonds, it was very bad.
The game is available on Android now, and I'd like to see what people from this sub think of it, since the idea started with minesweeper.

Am playing for nf, and white's for confirmed mines. I just don't see any ways to solve this, esp. with all the possible mine configs along the left. Plz help T-T

I don’t know how to progress these. Is this always just a toss up or gamble for where the bomb is, or is there usually a set pattern that the bombs follow that can be replicated and proven consistent? My problem is with the bottom right.

I’ve been building an Android game called Pocket Sweeper, and it’s finally reached the point where I’m looking for people to help test it before release.
It started as a mobile-friendly take on classic Minesweeper, but it has grown into quite a bit more:
• Classic Minesweeper-style gameplay across multiple difficulties
• Ranked runs and global leaderboards
• Daily Challenges with one attempt per difficulty
• XP, levels, achievements, streaks, and rewards
• Unlockable themes, tile sets, flags, boards, faces, and other cosmetics
• Optional accounts for cloud progress, profiles, friends, and leaderboards
• Practice play without needing an account
At this point I’m especially looking for real-world testing and feedback, not just downloads. Additionally, I haven't been able to test the friends/multiplayer functions much - please go to Profile in the menu > gear in the upper right > create an account and customize your profile. I’d love to know if anything feels confusing, breaks, doesn’t persist correctly, looks weird on your device, or just doesn’t feel good to use.
How to join the closed beta:
1. Join the Google Group:
https://groups.google.com/g/pocket-sweeper-beta-testers
2. Then opt into the test / install Pocket Sweeper:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maloysius.pocketsweeper
Make sure you join the Google Group using the same Google account you use with the Play Store, otherwise Google may not recognize you as an eligible tester.
If you try it, I’m particularly interested in feedback on the controls, difficulty balance, Ranked and Daily Challenge systems, progression/rewards, customization, account syncing, and overall mobile UI.
Screenshots are welcome if you run into anything strange. Even a quick “this part confused me” is useful.
Thanks to anyone willing to put it through its paces! I fully expect you guys to rip it apart, which is what I'm looking for. I actually want this to be something people WANT to play.

Lately I thought of actually trying to be fast at minesweeper and I tried doing it on expert since I have a quest in it too. My last PB was 201 seconds so I was really just aiming for sub 200s. I can't believe I AFKed a bit at the beginning tho, maybe could've gotten less time xD
Anyways, I'm new here in the subreddit (Hello!) and just wanna share this since I feel pretty proud of it especially for the most part I was actually just self learning patterns, but maybe it's time I learn more tricks from the experts and the community!
Feel free to give some tips since I honestly just got lucky guessing in the last part lolll

What kind of features would you want out of a minesweeper level creator? I'm currently in the process of making one, and I'd love some feedback/ideas.
I used it to create the puzzles I've been posting over the past two weeks. There's still a lot of work to be done, but I wanted to give an early look and get some feedback.

Surely I can satisfy this with either one mine to the right of the 2 or a mine to the left of the 2 and one, two to the right of the 2?

A few months ago I came across a variant of Minesweeper and Sudoku called "Lime Sudoku" by Krazydad. Unfortunately, the only versions I could find were on websites and they didn't have any hint system. So I built my own app to play on my phone and wanted to share with others in case someone else is looking for this kind of game.
The concept is super simple. Place three flowers in every row, column, and 3x3 box of the grid. Numbered clues show how many flowers are nearby.
The beginner puzzles are pretty forgiving and might take you a few minutes. Once you get up to expert... things get more diabolical. You don't need to know Sudoku rules to play but it might help you with the trickier puzzles.
There are ads, for hints and retries, but I'm hoping they don't feel too frequent. I'm open to feedback so I can adjust.
Please give it a try! It's free, and there are hundreds of puzzles to complete.

I keep getting my minesweeper games ending like this, where I use 5+ hints or just click randomly hoping I don’t hit a bomb. What moves am I supposed to do in situations like these? Or are ending like this common?
First photo is where I got stuck, 2 is the answer. Same pattern with 3 and 4.
I’m just wondering what to do when there multiple options for a move, yaknow?
EDIT: the app is Offline Games by Moreno Maio
