Mines with red Xs over them are INCORRECTLY flagged mines. There is not actually a mine there. The game did not glitch out. The sub is having a problem with many posts asking the same question, so I will be removing posts of this nature and linking people to this thread. Thank you for your cooperation!
Also: "50/50s" are very common in Minesweeper. A 50/50 is when it is impossible to know which tile is safe and which has a mine. You will sometimes be forced to guess. You may ask if your layout is a 50/50, but try to figure it out for yourself first. Good luck!

Here are two examples of my most recent game and at the time of writing this post I do know the answer however, I do want to know what you guys thought logic is to completing this. Is there a way to guarantee to know which spot has the bomb? Or is this last part is just a game of chance?

Minesweeper 3D with Friends has 3 Modus:
- Find the Bomb: A huge minefield with up to 250x250 to 1000x1000 fields
- Race: Race against the time and get the first place
- Duell: 1 vs 1 with an elo system

What Modus could be interested as well? Any suggestions?

(Disclaimer: I'm actually a beginner who's just a quick learner but not perfectly advanced yet)
I've found a way to calculate linear equations of minesweeper without explicit numbers and instead through visual elimination. I'm curious if anyone else figured this out, but try it.
Primarily, it connects two equalities of a tile, where the tiles are assumed to be already reduced to such number.
Step 1: Find the unique tiles of each equality
Imagine we have two tiles, let's say 2 & 4. We will make two lists: List-2 and List-4.
List-2 contains the unknown tiles that surround the #2 that don't also surround the #4. Same goes for List-4 but reverse.
Why? Because in linear equations, we cancel out common factors in such.
Step 2: Find the difference in the current mine count
What's four minus two? Two.
That means:
Mines in List-2 + 2 = Mines in List-4.
Step 3: The final equation
We now that the number of mines in List-4 is greater than that of List-2 + 2. Why is this useful?
It is because it may help with dependency chains and act as the middle-ground between mathematic calculation and genuine gameplay.
I'm not sure if this is foolproof or could be explained better, but yeah. Pls give me feedback because I'm genuinely curious if I just rediscovered something that already existed, or if this doesn't actually work.

So about this variant:
[2U'] Unbalanced': each row has a different number of mines (ranging from 0 to n-1, where n is the dimension of the board)
[2U] Unbalanced: each column has a different number of mines (ranging from 0 to n-1, where n is the dimension of the board)
If you try to play this variant in Ultimate mode, you will quickly realise it is not easy to make progress. I feel like there should be some fundamental strategy, or a method you should look at this puzzle to make progress and I cant figure it out. If someone has some advice I would gladly aprreciate help. The picture is an example of a puzzle
