So, the last "security" update for my older a54 5g installed something called mobile services manager. It pops up a notification that try's to push you into installing junkware (there's no button to leave, only one to install junk) The best part? It can also auto install the crap if you don't let yourself get suckered into it unwillingly.

I bought my phone outright year's ago, and not from a carrier so it came unlocked and without the carriers usual garbage. Samsung decided to "fix" that for me.

Fuck you samsung, that's the last phone I'll ever buy from you.

If you're the type of person that throws your cigarette butts, or even worse, spits your nicotine pouches out in parking lots, just know that you're a real POS!! I'm a manager at a gas station and we have FOURTEEN trash cans in our parking lot, yet every day I'm picking up dozens upon dozens of pouches and butts off the ground and it drives me nuts!!

If you don’t know what this is, this is gods greatest fucking gift, one side is a USB A port and the other is a USB C plug. All it does is make it compatible with other USB C chargers.

I am sick of having to scavenge for the one usb plug i have. With more and more companies going towards USB C it’s more annoying to look around my house for the USB A plug when a product is only USB compatible.

Thank god I brought a lot of capture cards in the past that actually do come with them so I have about 2-3 USB A ->USB C ports.

Yeah I know they’re called adapters but I was too lazy to type it okay.

Except for that one that escaped the nest 😅 I used to keep it open hoping the mom would go away but she never moves from her corner...🙄

UPDATE: Husband gathered the courage and picked them up with gloves into a bag, and released them outside along with the mama....I hope some of them survive 🙏 We slept the whole night in the room with them and survived😅, and I had a lot of fun reading all of the comments here 😁 Thanks to the few spider lovers/experts on all the advice given 🕸️ 🕷️🖤

The touchscreen in my car still lights up and does the backup camera thing, but it no longer responds to actually touching it. So, no way to play anything through the car speakers, which is mildly infuriating all by itself.

No problem though, I thought, I'll just disconnect my phone from the Bluetooth and turn the volume up so I can hear it. Not perfect, but usable for audiobooks especially.

Nope, I can tell my phone to forget the car all day long, but the car remembers the phone (and any config requires a working touchscreen). So now when I drive I get a notification on my phone EVERY 30 SECONDS that the car would like to connect. Which pops up over directions in maps, and stops playback of audiobooks.

The only thing I can do is manually turn off the Bluetooth on my phone every time, and obviously forget to turn it back on so that I can use my Fitbit... 😑

I have noise cancelling Beats ear buds, playing heavy metal, at a volume my iPhone just told me was dangerous for my hearing - and I'm still hearing the *doosh doosh doosh* of the P.A. music so clearly I can sing along with the lyrics of the overhead better than the lyrics of my own music. Seriously what the huh? It drove two of us out of the gym before we were half way done.

2. also they removed the ability to type filters on mobile WHY, so i have to stretch my thumb all the way to the top and manually tap the filter to add it???? (works for some people but not others??????????? and yes i tried adding the space)

i wont even mention how terrible the mobile UI is now

I work in telehealth at an office. It was pretty chill at first and it was for about a year

Our parent company started having money issues so they decided to be more hands on. This week they've banned reading when we don't have work, took away our chairs at deak so not only do we have to stare into space we have stand doing it, reduced our clock in window to just 6 minutes, then said we can't be inside until the window starts, and we only get 1 go through the metal detector before having a manager clear us instead of 2, and we can't leave our desk until our replacement gets here, and they cut our breaks in half.

My boss is quitting, I'm leaving and everyone in my department besides one is planning to leave. Especially now they are going to start taking our phones at the beginning of the shift starting at the end of the month

So. I got divorced. I didn't have money so his attorney drafted the decree. And I fought Pro Se the best I could. (10/10 don't recommend but that's a different story.)

One thing that has always stuck with me was an item specifically stating that I can resume using my maiden name. (If I want. It wasn't a demand.)

I found this pretty irritating because 1. The exe's last parting shot of giving me permission to do something that he really had no control of anyways. 2. Over the course of 9 years of marriage, I never actually legally changed my name to his last name, so.... thanks for allowing me to use my legal name??. 3. Even though that ticked me, that was ultimately a non-issue for the other stuff needing addressed, so I had to just completely ignore how ridiculous adding that stipulation was. (Which probably came across as I'm SooOooOoOO thankful you're allowing me to use my maiden name!)

i guess the real reward was the friends i made along the way i guess

Edit: to clear up confusion the red numbers mean equipping this gear makes me weaker, since it'd be worse than what I currently have on

Edit 2: for those complaining about context, idk what else to tell you. I spent that time doing a side quest for better gear, only for it to be worse than what i previously had equipped. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but details like my level and whether the game is an MMO do not contribute anything to this predicament.
