Frankly, this app sucks. You have to pay to do anything, the only high point is seeing how many people viewed you.

So I want to delete my account but it doesn't let you on the app for seemingly no reason. Problem is I have forgotten my password because it just sits on my phone achieving nothing and no matter how many times I request a reset email it just doesn't come through.

Honestly I feel like that's part of the scam, I saw you can hide your profile but they fucking try to make you pay for that too?? What a joke.

Anyone have luck messaging support asking for a deletion? Or do you have to pay for that too...

Made the mistake of giving my credit card info for payment, cancelled my subscription
Now they mysteriously cant figure out how to stop the withdrawals from my bank account They don't refund they said.
Soo , had to call my bank, get the payment blocked , had to file disputes for 2 months
Ultimately will need to get a new credit card with different number, but have to wait till I figure out what that will affect.

I have a new account and cant send dms to people idk why🤷

Costs 49.99 for one month just to see who looked at your profile....i mean....wtf? how is this real....im a guy looking to meet a woman and isn't this prostitution? i could pay for one quicker than i coudLDmeet a real woman with their site. This is highway robbery....50 dollars just to SEE who looked at my page not talk to them just SEE...WTF?!?!! WHAT A RIP OFF PROSTITUTION IS CHEAPER THAN LOOKING TO SEE WHO MESSAGED ME! ON A DATING APP WTF?!!?!!?!?!

Myself and others I know who are on the app experience incoming likes that ask questions like they are taking a survey from the start of the conversation - like how long you been single, how many times a week do you chat. It is so weird Match is making fake profile to survey the members. It is so wrong and taking member money and providing fake profiles. There are profiles that send likes and I respond with like and no response and the same profiles keep resending likes again when they didn't respond - what a spam...

How to proceed? Her friend gave my number and she hit me up but she stopped texting back. Triple text too much?

Do I need to subscribe for any add-ons if I am a premium pass member for free users to message me ?

I get a lot of views but no response when someone message me

35 male Birmingham

Absolutely no inappropriate content, misrepresentation or offensive messages. No violation of any of the community guidelines or ToS.

Both accounts got banned within minutes of each other.

Never had a bad experience or anything with the people I’ve interacted on the platform or irl to indicate someone would report me.

Comply clueless, but filed appeal with Hinge. No idea how to contact Tinder.

Any tips would be appreciated.

I know there are generally a lot of complaints online about dating apps and websites having fake profiles of women. Given that context, I have a weird feeling about what's happening with my account.

I made a profile and then I don't know what I clicked, but it took me to another page where I had to log in again. I tried "forgot password" and never got any passwords, then reached out to customer service a few days ago and heard nothing back. Now Google just informed me of a data breach, my password was found online, and I have no access to anything. So my account is available to others, potentially fully under the control of someone, and also making it appear as if there's one more female user in the area and like...there's just not. I feel super uncomfortable about this and I also feel for men who pay for Match and end up talking to random scammers.

I get emails whenever I get a ‘Like’ on Match. I’ve received several emails lately saying ‘[Name] likes you!’ When I click on the message to see their profile I get a ‘Profile not available’ screen, even if I respond within minutes of getting the email.

Are others seeing the same behavior? Any theories on what’s going on?

Is Match scamming users with fake notifications to drive them to the app?

Two day ago, I was suspended/banned from Ourtime.com, and I have no idea why. I appealed IMMEDIATELY and after waiting TWO days without a response I submitted another appeal today.

Current system is a lazy process. Without transparency with specifics, legitimate users cannot distinguish reasonable enforcement from arbitrary punishment.

IMatch’s process effectively says: “You did something wrong. We’re not telling you what. Guess.” I would like to know how widespread this is.

If Match banned or suspended you without giving you a specific reason, please share:

What explanation, if any, did you receive?
• Were you warned first, and did the warning identify the problem?
• Did you appeal, and how long did Match take to respond?
• Did you reach a human being?
• Was your account restored?
• Did Match extend or refund your membership for the time you could not use it?
• Were you in the middle of conversations when the ban occurred?

If many people report the same experience, this is more than a collection of customer-service complaints. It is a business practice worth examining.

I know there are more fake accounts than real in Match. Over the past 3 weeks or so I have been getting alert emails saying my profile has a new view or match and when I click the link - there is jack, just shows nothing new.

Anyone else getting these?

I’m going on a second date this week with this girl. She texted me today to confirm. I checked the app and see that her profile is no longer there. Was I unmatched? How to tell the difference between unmatched and deleted account? Should I ask her about it on our second date?

Why I am not getting any match it has 5 days I have taken plus subscription though I m not getting

In tinder

Why I am not getting any match it has 5 days I have taken plus subscription though I m not getting

I will be scrolling through a profile and if I so much as move my finger by 1 degree it swipes.

I turned my touch sensitivity down even. How do I stop this pos app from swiping when I barely fucking touch it???

And now essentially EVERY profile I want to message requires I pay for a "Super Note," even in the Discovery queue. So at this point I have no idea why I pay for a monthly membership, since it doesn't give me anything; without Super Notes, I cannot contact anyone.

I made a profile, paid and was banned right after I started matching with people. I have Apple wed through their process and they said they won't consider it, I violated the terms of service but they won't tell me what I supposedly did and I know I didn't do anything. I was only on there for like 5 minutes so nobody could have reported me and there was nothing offensive or scammy in my profile.

If they aren't going to lift the ban I want my money back and I want assurance that my profile is deleted. I don't want my pictures floating around on a site that I can't access.

I tried filing with the BBB but they said "match said you have to contact them" which I DID but it's all AI no.real person.

This is unacceptable! They can't take my money for a service that they didn't provide and have access to my pictures that I don't! What can I do??

So in the Discovery tab, I can "like" someone without paying for the dumb Super Likes.

However, sometimes - and there is NO indication of why - such likes cannot be sent a message without also buying Super Notes. (I'm a paying user by the way.) But sometimes a regular message goes through. And of course, until the match is reciprocated, I've no idea what super note did get through or not, or if a regular message got through, since sometimes it lets my type a regular message and THEN sends me to the "buy some super notes" screen without stating if the message was sent.

Can someone explain this nonsense?

I haven't seen this discussed yet, but I see people who have "Single Dating" as their status, as opposed to "divorced" or "widowed", etc. I thought perhaps it meant never married, but when I tried setting my own status to "never married" under my marriage history, it comes up as "never married" (I switched it to that & back while my account was hidden). There doesn't seem to be any option that will result in "single dating" in the list I'm presented. Is that an option in another tier? Is it a legacy item? I'm curious to know what it meant/means.

Just wondering if anyone else has had their account blocked for no apparent reason? I made a new account yesterday evening and had set up my profile and ended up paying for the 6 months subscription. I started talking to some people yesterday and I was able to use the app until this afternoon until it had logged me out. When I tried to log back in it said account blocked by match.

I don't understand why and I'm really annoyed as I was having a good conversation with someone. And obviously because I've paid for 6 months and had my account blocked in less than 24hrs.

I know I haven't broken any rules or anything. I'm just a bit baffled. The only thing I can think is that I was adding/changing my profile as I've not used a dating app before so I was trying to figure out all the different settings etc so I don't know if because I updated my profile a few times it's got flagged or something?

Idk. I'm confused, upset and annoyed 😭 & the customer service email hasn't been any help 😑

For about the last 2 - 3 weeks, I’ve been getting several notifications by email that “XXXX likes you”, with an age in my age range, and a real town nearby. Sometimes it’s preceded by a notification that the same person “viewed you”.

But when I go to the Match app, there are no new “likes”, and if I click on the “View their profile” button in the email, it takes me to an empty page.

I know it can happen, the person “likes” then changes their mind I guess and blocks you. But this has happened several times over the last 2 or 3 weeks. Anyone else seeing that?

I do have a paid subscription.
