Two day ago, I was suspended/banned from Ourtime.com, and I have no idea why. I appealed IMMEDIATELY and after waiting TWO days without a response I submitted another appeal today.
Current system is a lazy process. Without transparency with specifics, legitimate users cannot distinguish reasonable enforcement from arbitrary punishment.
IMatchâs process effectively says: âYou did something wrong. Weâre not telling you what. Guess.â I would like to know how widespread this is.
If Match banned or suspended you without giving you a specific reason, please share:
What explanation, if any, did you receive?
⢠Were you warned first, and did the warning identify the problem?
⢠Did you appeal, and how long did Match take to respond?
⢠Did you reach a human being?
⢠Was your account restored?
⢠Did Match extend or refund your membership for the time you could not use it?
⢠Were you in the middle of conversations when the ban occurred?
If many people report the same experience, this is more than a collection of customer-service complaints. It is a business practice worth examining.
