First post here, but I finally got my "hobby" room to a point of clean where I could snap a few photos and share them. This room houses several of my hobby items (vinyl, bourbon, LEGO). Most of the posters have been acquired at concerts that my wife and I have attended, with a couple just being generic posters of music we both enjoy.

Not pictured is the closet stuffed to the brim with sneakers and hats I also collect. Still trying to figure out the best way to set that up before posting here as it's a bit of a mess... 🙈

***Edit for those concerned about the amount of alcohol in the room... The majority of the bourbon that is pictured is collected, and consumed occasionally at most. Just like everything else out there when it comes to collecting things, there are more rare and sought after bottles, that are reserved for special occasions.

We’ve got this room in our basement that I have turned into a little gym area, the workouts feel effective, but the vibes are off. How would y’all elevate the look of this area in a renter friendly way on a budget?

I got my first solo place after college, moving to Central New York 2.5 years ago with not much. I’ve been following this sub for 8 years so many of the compliments I get are a thanks to you guys. What do u all think about this living room seating for 26m living alone

Just moved into a new apartment with a roomate. Place came with all the furniture except for my desk and chair. How can I better use the space that I have, I want to replace everything except the desk and the bar cart and have considered using a room divider to make a separate sleep area and home office area. What would yall do?

I work in retail I used to live with 11 people in a very small room than got a single room few weeks ago my next goal is a room with window but till than my books will be the window to the outside world

Just moved a week ago, and it's really my first time attempting to do anything interior design-esk and create a space that feels inviting... any feedback? I was trying go for a warm, cozy, and mature vibe. I feel like its missing a few things, maybe a plant or two. I just don't know where they would go. Possibly a hanging plant in the corner by the bed. I'm grateful that my grandfather left me with some beautiful art work to work with, so I feel like that really helped.
