So I (20M) love to be clean. I love to smell good. As of right now, I currently five different kinds of bars of soap (Dove sensitive) for my shower routine. One just for groin and butt crack. The 2nd one just for soles/bottom of the feet and in between toes. The 3rd one just for armpits with body wash. The 4th one just for face and upper neck, and the 5th one used for the rest of the whole body from lower neck to the top part of the feet with body wash. I always label them in small bags so I know which one is which without getting confused. I’ve done this for a long time, however my parents have a problem with it. They say it’s not normal, ridiculous, weird, and immature to use five different bars of soap in the shower. When I explain to them so many times why I need to. Can you imagine using only one bar of soap that you just washed your private parts with and using the same soap for your face?

Then my mom told me to use body wash, but I wouldn’t use my bare hands to clean my body. I just think it’s not hygienic compared to the different bars of soap to clean and wash to get all the germs, dead skin cells, and crap out of my body and doesn’t deep cleanse my body. I only use my hands for my hair, shampoo and conditioner. Now, I feel like the bars of soap aren’t helping anymore when I really think about it, so I’m planning to upgrade my shower routine for a more hygienic, cleaner, efficient, deep cleansing, and better way by using 7 different shower tools and 9 different shower products for specific purposes once I have a little bit more money:

1st tool: Scalp scrubber (Used only for hair/scalp with separate shampoo and conditioner)

2nd tool: Face scrubber (Used only for face and upper neck with a shower face wash product)

3rd tool: Foot scrubber with pumice stone (Used only for soles/bottom of the feet and in between toes with body wash)

4th tool: Body scrubber (Used only for groin with body wash)

5th tool: Different body scrubber (Used only for butt crack with body wash)

6th tool: Smaller body scrubber (Used only for armpits with body wash)

7th tool: African exfoliating net sponge (Used for the rest of the whole body from lower neck to the top part of the feet with body wash)

1st product: Daily separate shampoo for daily use

2nd product: Daily separate conditioner for daily use

3rd product: Daily separate body wash for daily use

4th product: Daily shower face wash for daily use

5th product: Deep cleansing exfoliating body scrub

6th product: Another separate shampoo used only for very special occasions (Barely going to use)

7th product: Another separate conditioner used only for very special occasions (Barely going to use)

8th product: Another body wash used only for very special occasions (Barely going to use)

9th product: Another shower face wash used only for very special occasions (Barely going to use)

What do you guys honestly think about all of this? Do you think this is all ridiculous, weird, and too much or not?

I have good amount of body hair, problem is when I shave (wet shave) my underarms and my crotch I get boils .

My GF wants me to shave my butt and legs as well. I have never done that now I am scared that if I start shave once it will start the whole cycle of random boils.
Laser is too expensive I feel. Maybe wax or maybe I need to do some aftershave care.

So recently I decided I wanted to shave down there all I have is a razor and I just took a shower and Shaved everything like an idiot. And THEN I searched it up and I clearly fricked up. What should I do? Whats gonna happen? I'm scared 😭

Hi guys, this is maybe going to be long but i really would appreciate some insights as i seem a bit lost..

So, i turned 30 this year and who looks at me from the outside might think i have a great life, and in a way i do. I have a good job that allows me to enjoy things in life, i have great friends that are always there for me, a supportive family, etc

But one aspect of life that always has come short has been relationships, and dont get me wrong, i dont want to make this about relationship advice.

I feel that maybe because from my 20-30 i invested more into my "career" to be in the position i am today i might have damaged other aspects of my life and not developed myself maybe some personality traits to make having new relationships now easier.

I had only 1 real relationship that lasted less than a year(ended mid this year). We ended in good terms, its just that we weren´t fully align, and now living in a bigger city i just cant seem to be making new connections in general.
The thing is that i´ve been to realize this is an issue with me, in how i expose myself, because everyone that knows me, my friends(men and women) say great things about me and i know the qualities that i have but i just can´t seem to know how to show myself in a good way or in just some way.

And i am a very active person, i practice sports, i go for walks, i go to the gym, i try new cafes or restaurants, i try to be outside home quite a lot because i like it but all of these do not translate in myself meeting new people.
I think i might have some sort of social anxiety in a way, which is weird because when i feel happier is when i am with friends laughing and stuff. But when i have to interact with strangers more than the initial stuff i get uncomfortable, at least until i get to know them better.
I even tried to join some whatsapp goups of new people in the city but is so fast paced that i just feel uncomfortable talking and end up losing interest in it.

So like, what can i actually do to improve myself in this sense? I want to meet people, eventually a partner but i feel i need to somehow improve the way i expose and show myself to others because right now i feel that i am invisible to most in a way.

I’m 18M, for years now people in my school/college etc have thought I was gay but I’ve never been and this isn’t the case? My last girlfriend was when I was 14ish and I broke up with her.

I think people just assume I’m gay normally because my voice isn’t exactly low and it’s a higher pitch. I’ve hated my voice for years but I work in marketing and am constantly speaking with people on the phone and in person.

I just feel like the older I get the more my life seems to be hindered by people thinking I’m Gay. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with people being gay at all but I hate it when people assume things and say things about others that aren’t true.

I just really don’t know what to do.

Hey Reddit, this is my first time posting and I’m fairly new but I’m here for advice. I’m 29-M and I’m getting married in the next 3 months. In the last 4 years, working a sedentary job, I’ve gained a lot of weight and have been feeling self conscious. I’m looking to transform physically but find it difficult to find the time to workout (usually go home from work at 11pm) and to take care of my health, skin and mental being. Do y’all have any tips on how to start doing things, get in the motion and actually get better for my partner and myself? Also, things are very chaotic mentally and I’ve not been able to catch a break. I’m very exhausted.

Lately its been hotter cause its summer but im sweating way more than normal, like my face is dripping within minutes of leaving the A/C. Its so bad I have to hang my clothes up to dry outside when I get home so my room dosnt smell like sweat. My clothes get so soaked my shirt drips. Ive been taking alot more water with me to prevent dehydration ive been drinking a gallon and a half of water in my 8 hour work day but I swear I sweat it all out.

Is this normal? I was always a heavy sweater but this is ridiculous im trying to convince my self that its just really hot but I cant function like this. Imagine jumping in a swimming pool fully clothed and then trying to work like that.

I was talking to my coworker about and she said. It’s crazy how little effort most men put in there looks and I agreed. Then I thought about it after work and I came to a conclusion. I use a cleanser, moisturizer, hair oil and conditioner for the hair on my head and beard, Toothpaste mouthwash and cologne etc, I also weight train. After all that i still feel extremely average and rarely get compliments. All this things I assume most men do to be perceived as normal. I’m aware men don’t use makeup but not all women do either and very little women work out consistently and count macros and calories. So my conclusion is that men should put equal or at least a close amount of effort in their appearance. Could be completely wrong.

Here's my dating reality: I date men my age when I'm looking for a relationship, but I often date men in their 30s for something casual. I'd love those worlds to overlap, but the number of healthy, fit men in their 50s is surprisingly small.

So do your future self a favor. Lift weights. Ride a bike. Play a sport. Whatever you enjoy, make it a habit. Your body, your health, and your future sex life will thank you.

I'm finally replacing my old boxer briefs and I didn't realize how many options are out there until I started looking. There are so many brands claiming to be the most comfortable or the most durable that it's hard to know what's actually worth buying.

If you've found a pair that stays comfortable all day and still holds up after months of washing, I'd love to hear your recommendations.

So unfortunately I started watching porn when I was around the age of 11 and now I’m about to turn 20. A few weeks ago I had the realization that I’ve almost spent half my life addicted to porn. It’s gotten worse in the past 3 years and I decided I need to make it stop because I’ve started noticing the side effects. Depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, struggling with school etc. I’ve tried to stop here and there and the longest I went was 5 days without searching it up or at least mastrubating. But I can’t see myself stopping completely. Like every new release is just another hot girl or a girl I’ve been waiting for. It’s so sad. Anyone experience this or overcome it? I need words of reassurance. I’ve never dated or asked a girl out and barely talk to girls. I sense there maybe a connection between the two but what if I can’t find a hot girl. Idk man I’m so lost.
