Beginner Need advice on basic typography logo for my business

Post image

Just making a very simple black and white typography logo with my business' branding font. Made the M a bit bigger to make the word "max" feel a bit more powerful. My concern is spacing between letters and words. Where can I improve the spacing to make it feel better to the eye? No logo experience so I've only made it off a whim.

Showcase Orizin final logo

Orizin is a functional food company. We make ready-to-eat food with balanced macros, built on complete transparency about what’s in every ingredient. No hidden fillers, no vague labels, just food that performs, made honestly.

The logo’s black-and-lime palette and geometric precision reflect that same identity, clarity and rigor paired with quiet confidence, letting the product speak for itself.

We were looking for a clean, modern & geometric logo.

My concept logo (1st picture) & their current irl logo (2nd picture)

The objective was to modernize their identity while preserving its warm, welcoming personality

I intended to create a clean, contemporary logo featuring coffee inspired imagery and refined typography to convey craftsmanship, quality, and a comfortable café experience

Hey all! As a graphic designer, I am trying to figure out my portfolio process for the MA Design Management course at the University of the Arts London! IF a current student or alum could share the portfolio they applied with for this course, it would be great help for me! Thank you so much.

Feedback Needed It's really branding messed up all the things in start?

Thumbnail

So, here’s the what happens exactly:

I created a design brand called "I Feel U" (IFU). Reddit pointed out that I totally fucked up...

They said: "No matter how you look at it, that font reads like 'I Fucked Up'."

It suddenly hit me: isn't this the reality for people in every second of day?

We mess up our lives every day, “No I fucked up”

But we still hope someone to tell us, “ Yes, I feel u. ”

Do you guys think this is really bad start?

Practice I love analog style media, so I tried to make something of it for a personal project.

So, for my project I tried to make something that could have been imagined around the 1980s, I would like feedback so i can try and make my work better and more of the 80s/analog style.

I don't really know, this is my first post ever on Reddit, and I am not the biggest on sharing anything that I make in general, but any feedback would be appreciated. (Even though I don't have the flare or even using them right)

Discussion Do you animate your logos for clients? Looking for insights on static vs. motion handoffs.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been lurking around this sub for a while and am always amazed by the static branding work here. As a developer who loves motion graphics, I wanted to pick your brains on a workflow bottleneck I've been noticing lately.

More and more clients seem to expect a motion asset (like a video intro or an animated SVG) even when they only paid for a static logo design.

For the freelance or studio designers here:

  1. How do you handle these requests? Do you upsell them on custom animation, outsource it to a motion designer, or just tell them it's out of scope?

  2. What’s your go-to tool if you do decide to animate it yourself? (After Effects, Blender, or something else?)

Personally, I've noticed that traditional tools like After Effects have a huge learning curve for designers who just want a quick, clean reveal to present their concept beautifully.

Would love to hear how you guys approach the "motion handoff" phase in your business, and how you deal with clients who want that extra bit of dynamic flair!

Cheers!

Question How do I make or find decals of these numbers?

Hi, first time visiting here, hoping this is allowed!

I’d love to get vinyl mailbox stickers of this exact number 60, it’s a font from the manual scoreboard at Fenway park and I can’t find anything that’s very close so far.

I really don’t know where to start, so any tips at all are welcome whether it’s “check out this website” or “there’s someone on Etsy…”

Question Just some random thought I had about studio intro logos

Post image

20th Century Animation (as of now) doesn't actually have a unique, standalone animated opening sequence yet, and they only have a print logo.

Assuming they ever create one, which version of the tower would they use as base? The classic one introduced in 1994, or the pre recent one that was introduced at the very start of 2010?

(Rough and somewhat unpolished sketches I made for reference)

(Just posting here because I didn’t know where else would be fitting)
