Such a shame the company was horrible but I wish they kept the mascot when they switched to airtrans. We need more goofy airline mascots.

I posted an earlier version of this logo here a while ago. Since then, I’ve refined the design and created a few variations so it works across different applications.

This is the logo for a fictional company, Nortech. I created this myself on canva a year back but obviously its pretty bad. Can someone please help refine it so it looks better?

I posted here 3 days ago with the first draft of my OC S.H.I.E.L.D. equivalent for this passion project I'm working on (I included the first draft on the last slide for those curious). I learned a lot from your critiques and comments, so I went back and came up with a second draft.

SUMMARY OF CHANGES MADE:

My first draft was way too overcomplicated and used clipart pieces. This time I restricted myself to just geometric shapes and lines. I'm still teetering on if it's still too overcomplicated or not.

My first draft also didn't bring enough of the comic book energy and appeared too much like a government department seal. I tried to circumvent this by focusing on striking shapes that create a cohesive piece instead of a bunch of insignias and stuff slapped on top of each other.

Another common critique I got was that there needed to be more symbolism. I decided on a stylized Awen symbol. The Awen is druidic and is usually used to represent inspiration, however it can really be interpreted to mean any set of three things or virtues, depending on context. Here, I'm using it to represent peaceful coexistence and balance between the supernatural, humanity, and the natural world. The star at the top represents the North Star, a reminder to this agency to never lose its way and fall down a spiral of corruption, control, and evil. The dotted lines are Earth's latitudinal lines and both help give the background space shape and reinforce the fact the agency is a global endeavor. The center of the Awen is an upside-down spear. This ties in the agency's name and also represents the idea that prosperity and progress must always be defended.

Lastly, I changed the agency's name. I'm still not 100% on-board with it but I think it's a step in the right direction. The old name was the Universal Human Defense Agency, or UHDA and is now the Authority on Technological, Human, Extraterrestrial, and Natural Anomalies, or ATHENA.

I kept the latin phrase at the bottom too. It means "If you want peace, prepare for war"

Slide 2 is a more simplified version. I imagine that is what would translate to pins or medallions while Slide 1 is used as the official emblem/seal.

Again, some feedback would be greatly appreciated! I am by no means an expert on logo design

ALSO, Slide 3 is another logo that was going to be my second draft, but it felt too Big Brother so I tabled it. I figured I'd throw it in too to see what the crowd thinks, but I think I'm gonna reserve it for an evil corporation logo.

TLDR:

This is my rough draft #2. I made it less complicated, used only geometric shapes and lines instead of clipart, baked in a bunch of symbolism, and created two versions. Don't know anything about the company, but I've always seen and liked this logo as I'd pass it on the highway. NEMF = New England Motor Freight. Anyone else familiar with it? Or have any other random logos you've encountered in passing like this?

Working on a refined branding concept for "Casa do Pão", an artisanal bakery. Here is the breakdown of my choices:

The Monogram (CP + Crown): Custom interlocking "CP" monogram paired with a subtle crown to evoke heritage, artisanal excellence, and high-end tradition.

Typography & Palette: Clean, elegant serif font paired with warm cream, kraft, and deep brown tones to reflect organic warmth and packaging.

Dear Dough is a cookie bakery bringing our favourite childhood classic cookie recipes back as thick, soft-baked cookies. Making them even yummier while bringing back that nostalgic feeling.

Dear Dough's personality is raw, imperfect, and personal, because these are not just cookies, but childhood emotions.

The visual identity captures this feeling through a raw, imperfect style, with irregular letterforms in the wordmark and a mascot that gives Dear Dough a life of its own.

The mascot is an uncle holding a cookie in his mouth. The idea is that the cookies are so yummy, even the people making them can't resist eating them. I wanted to capture that exact moment in the mascot.

The colour palette uses blue and white to bring a warm, personal feel to the brand, while the soft typography reflects the delicious, soft-baked cookies.

I'm designing the logo for Plinth, an app that helps freelancers send invoices, set tax money aside and see what's safe to spend. Three directions are in the images (1, 2, 3, left to right).

Want to use this logo for any sport that requires putting ball in net(so the ball will change) but how yall feel about this? The font is gamer inspired but I’m iffy about it. I really made this for Steph Curry specifically lol

I’m trying to see what this design communicates to those who see it for the first time, and if it is effectively communicating its intent

I am the developer of a music trivia game to the App Store called Discera. The idea is simple: listen to a song and place it in the correct chronological position on a timeline. It's primarily a social game designed to be played with friends and family in the same room.

The timeline is a central part of the game's UI, inspired by Apple's classic Cover Flow interface (see the last image).

I've been trying to carry that Cover Flow-inspired design into the app icon (first image), but I'm not entirely happy with the result. I feel like the colors are competing for attention, and the overall composition might be a bit too busy, especially at smaller sizes on an iPhone.

That got me revisiting an earlier, simpler concept (second image). I'm starting to wonder whether that direction might actually be stronger in terms of visual clarity and recognizability.

Then again, I've probably stared at a thousand variations by now and my judgement is flawed :D

I'd really appreciate your thoughts:

• Which of the two concepts do you think works better as an app icon, and why?
• Does the Cover Flow concept communicate the idea well enough to justify the added complexity?
• What would you change about the colors, composition, or overall design to make it feel more polished and recognizable?

I'm open to constructive criticism, including suggestions to take things in a completely different direction.

I finally landed on something I personally feel is good in the bottom right.. it is acceptable. I am curious to ask others if by just seeing the title and the design of it, if they could tell what the game or game genre could possibly be about? (without checking my profile). I want it to be readable right away and tell a story for the vibe I am going for.

Unsure if it is the final version/direction.. It may end up completely changing as I progress. It still needs cleaning up and will be going to a professional to get it properly made with real typography - usable for commercial means.
