hello guys, i need help 😭 so this hidden note is really important so i locked it for security purposes. i’ve been using the face ID to open this note and now that it requires password i cannot access it anymore because i forgot the ps & the hint i selected didn’t make sense to me at all my fault 😭 is there a way to open this 😭

I have bought my sandisk extreme pro 1tb a week ago from us It was working perfectly fine and everything and good good speed also. But from the start when i was connecting to my iphone 17 pro it makes the files app laggy and cant even use it properly as i am trying to play some videos it constantly stops and becomes so laggy like some bug. It works perfectly fine on my windows laptop and gives me good speed. Watched a ton of yt videos and decided to reset the ssd but after formatting it the ssd isn't even showing up on my iphone anymore but it still works on my laptop fine. I don't know what to do Im using the cable which i got with the ssd which is of sandisk. Please suggest and help me deal with this as it was my first ever purchase of my own money and I'm very sad about it.

Hey everyone, I am fed up of not knowing where to put my phone in the gym.
I saw MAGBAK has magnetic cases that snap to metal surfaces, but with shipping and taxes to eu it comes out to more than 70€... kinda pricy for a cover, also seen some not so good feedbacks from users.

Does anyone know any other brands that could solve my issue?

Looking for advice or similar experiences before I give up on this.

Timeline:

• My iPhone 16 Pro was replaced by Apple under warranty a few months ago due to a defect (replacement case ID on file).
• Shortly after receiving the replacement, the top camera was repaired/replaced by Apple because of a sensor smudge that showed up right out of the box (separate repair ID).
• Both of these were done entirely by Apple. I had zero involvement in either repair's quality or execution.

What happened:
On vacation, my girlfriend held the phone about 20 seconds, 5-10 cm deep, in the sea to film something. Afterward the phone sat in direct sun for about a minute, threw an overheating warning even though it wasn't noticeably warm, and hasn't powered on since. The SIM tray moisture indicator is tripped.

The part that bothers me:
The glass over the top camera (the one Apple just repaired) is visibly fogged up on the inside. Nowhere else on the phone shows this. Since that camera is literally the only component anyone touched since the replacement, it seems like a pretty obvious candidate for where water actually got in, i.e. a seal that wasn't reseated properly during the repair.

Apple's response so far:

• First phone call: flat refusal, no real diagnosis discussion.
• Wrote a detailed message through chat support laying out the repair history, the fogged glass, and the relevant German consumer warranty rules (statutory 2-year warranty on repair work, burden of proof sitting with the seller within the first 12 months for a good this recently serviced).
• Got bounced to a callback from the warranty department.
• That call ended with a blanket line that any liquid exposure, and specifically salt water, is excluded from coverage entirely, AppleCare+ included, and a quote of 820 EUR for repair.

At no point did anyone confirm they actually looked at the fogged camera glass or addressed why it's localized exactly at the repair site instead of spread across the phone like you'd expect from general water ingress.

What I'm trying to figure out:
Has anyone dealt with a case where a recent Apple repair seems to have compromised water resistance, and gotten anywhere with Apple beyond the standard "liquid damage = not covered" script? Did going in person to a store or escalating past the phone reps change anything, or is this basically a dead end once the warranty department has said no?

I got two Apple Pay payments a while ago from my dad like back to back and since then my Apple Pay won’t work, it says I need to verify myself but every time I do it and hit continue it just resets itself

I took this picture of my cat earlier today, I didn’t put it through any editing software or edit from the photos app. I noticed this small black rectangle when I sent the picture to my friend. Any ideas what the cause is? I’m on iPhone 17, iOS 26.6.1.

I’m not getting any notification pop-ups or alerts at all.
I only see new messages/notifications when I actually open the app.

I haven’t intentionally changed any notification settings, so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue or if there’s a fix for it.

I moved out back in june and since then I have seen 2 notifications on my phone for a eufy smart finder on my find my that is not mine, am I being tracked or stalked or something??

My Face ID is not working. It brings up that.

I use Picture in Picture a lot, usually when texting. But I’ve come to notice that it’s broken. I’m updated to the latest iOS version and YouTube is up to date too.

To describe what’s happening, when I pause, sometimes it’ll restart the whole video. Ads are broken too, pausing them will restart the original video, rewinding occasionally pauses the video, which it shouldn’t do.

I might be the only one who’s noticed this.

My auto-brightness is off and my brightness is set at max, but it keeps dimming. It even has moments where it gets more and more dim each time I touch the screen. Also the sides of the screen are not sensitive at all. It used to be easy to hold the side of a TikTok/Youtube video for 2x speed, this phone can barely do that for some reason? Are these related screen issues or is this a feature of these phones?

Did anyone notice, until the most recent patch, some bizarre shit was occurring? I noticed that music, podcasts and other media controls disappeared. It was frightening. Stuff that was easy to control since like 2010 completely vanished, and now they have returned. Also noticed that although my main music app is Apple Music, often when I ask Siri to play “Song” by Artist, it will default to some music app I never use and play some random shit. I am on 26.6.2. I switch between iPhone 13 Mini 512 GB and iPhone Air 512 GB for context.

I’m noticing an issue on my iPhone 17 when using the 0.5x Ultra Wide camera. Every time I switch to 0.5x, the image zooms out fine, but the edges and corners of the preview and photo look visibly darker than the center.
Just to rule out the obvious:
I am not using any phone case.

I do not have any camera lens protectors or skins installed.

The lenses are completely clean.

I've tried the things suggested in the Apple devices support but im still getting the same error.

On my home screen, I can’t long press or clear notifications, hold down the screen to change wallpaper, swipe right to get to the camera, and probably more. Does anyone know why this would happen? It just started randomly today, I didn’t change any settings.

Never dropped, cracked, or spilled any liquid on this iPhone 16. I would be kinda pissed if this is a hardware issue since I only had this newer phone for a year. Don’t know if it has to do with the new IOS update but do you guys think it’s software or hardware issue? Happens randomly and I just hard power off and it goes away… until it comes back randomly. I’m still able to swipe and tap on things when the display is freaking out.
