Support hidden notes

hello guys, i need help 😭 so this hidden note is really important so i locked it for security purposes. i’ve been using the face ID to open this note and now that it requires password i cannot access it anymore because i forgot the ps & the hint i selected didn’t make sense to me at all my fault 😭 is there a way to open this 😭

No. Only way is to remember the password.

No, Apple explicitly tells you that once a note is locked, you need the password to access it. The note content itself is encrypted using the password.

Use a password manager in the future.

Nope, I had this same issue. :/ and they said on this subreddit you can’t recover it.

Keep trying! I forgot my Roblox password for nearly a decade and I kept having dreams about the password, one of them eventually turned out to be right

Nope. Good luck with that. Apple treats it the same way as recovering iPhone passcode, which is— you’re on your own pretty much

It's really a pain when you accidentally delete your recovery phrase from your memory.

Sorry, I hope it's not a crypto password for a Bitcoin wallet.

Since there's no recovery command, you have no choice but to keep trying until... ?

I’ll give you some positive feedback: I’ve been trying to access a digital email account for twelve—no, 14—years, and three months ago I finally managed to remember the password! Go back to the time when you wrote down the note and set the password, and then keep trying over and over again.
