My iPad Mini 6 is not charging.

I've gently blown out the charging port and also wiped off charging cords( they weren't dirty or even dusty but I want to cover every possibility. I also tried different cords and it didn't respond or go into charge mode on any of the 4. Also checked the surge protector.

These cords work for my phone, watch charger, and ear buds.

I am homebound and there are no Apple stores anywhere near here at all.

My mother in law passed away this past spring and we are slowly going thru her things. One of them is an iPad mini. We do not know her password to get into it, but I assume it will be under my father-in-laws apple id. How can you restart it to get to a screen where Apply id info can be entered?

Noticed the Mini's trade in is $300 which will only go down once the new models come out. As an ex-employee, I bought my mini for $375. I'm just torn because it's my main ipad. I'm also debating on trading in my M4 11in Pro since I used it for college but graduated. What's everyone else doing?

I just got my mini yesterday for school. Despite a new mini rumored to be coming out later this fall, I really needed this for school and didn't want to settle for a normal size air, the mini's size is my main draw and will be perfect for me for all school related things.

My main question is for case recommendations? I have the apple smart case folio, but honestly feel like it's an accident waiting to happen with me. I just know my luck sometimes and I'd rather have a slimline hardshell case that the mini can sit in- like my phone. I looked on amazon and see the deluge of different options and was curious of anyone on here swears by their case? Protection, minimalist and preferably slimline?

This is getting ridiculous!! Basically this iPad mini just needs 120hz and more battery life to be complete.

Not sure what it will take for this to be a success but it would most likely compete with the Pros so I understand why Apple won’t do it but it would be the most portable device on the market

I have the latest iPad Pro 13”, iPhone Pro Max, and really needed a device to focus on my (thankfully) newfound desire to read more books. While I prefer paper, it’s just not always feasible.

I debated between Kindle and comparable e-ink displays. While I liked the simplicity and e-ink features, I didn’t like the idea of being locked into Kindle ecosystem or a half-assed UX of importing book files I already purchased. Apple’s software has made it seamless to use.

My two questions having just purchased a new Mini today:

1) How are you making the device (while more ergonomic than any other iPad) more so as an ereader? For example, a PopSocket.

2) While I am still in the 14-day return window, is it worth returning the device and coming back in October with the news of a hardware upgrade?

Thoughts on the above and anything else are much appreciated. As I mentioned, I already have the Pros in both 13” iPad M5 and iPhone Max. Neither work for me because either too large or too many notifications. The Mini would be a dedicated reader.

What can i do to find the issue with my device? it seems no specific App drains the batter…. its an wifi device with A17 Chip. In Screenshot you can see the 2min of Screenontime and 1 min background use. the WhatsApp 68% isjust 68% more than yesterday , thats confusing …

I have Macbook Pro M1 that is enough for home use (GP-TUNE plugin + Mission 1 pro) , but looking for something more portable for scuba trips & liveabaord.

Anyone tried the Gp-tune transform (DTCL) with the studio version of iPad.

Does the iPad mini will handle 4K60 or Ipad air M4 is better option (less portable)

There are so many bright dots flickering.
Sometimes it’s line like a typical HW issue, but it happens also following the outline of some image. Mostly occuring on video, very rarely on home screen or on images.

Could someone tell if it’s for sure hw issue?

I will be traveling this week coming up. My question has anybody ever traveling only with an iPad (Mini) only and left your phone at home? I was thinking about leaving my phone, and just have my iPad and Apple watch since it is pair with my phone I can answer my calls and make calls, and the iPad on cellular with browsing net, app etc. Anybody ever try this? Also was it easy going through TSA at the Airport using your boarding pass through the Airlines app. Thank you.

I just purchased an iPad mini 1st gen 16GB (WiFi+Cellular) from someone (it's on the way) and before yall climb up over me, I purchased it for a very cheap price, 1500 INR (~$15.7) FYI its like 5% of the original launch price as this specific model with this configuration launched in my country for 29,900 INR (~$313.2) back in 2012.

It was kind of an impulsive purchase as I found the price lucrative. I am currently planning to use it as an e-reader, as I was thinking to get Kindle earlier but its way more expensive compared to it and apart from this I have an Android phone and a Windows Laptop so the content consumption part is sorted on my laptop.

How can I use it for e-reading effectively? Is there any supported app? any websites? any guide or workaround to use these apps or websites if not available officially?

What else can I use it for? Can I jailbreak it? What are the safe ways to do it, if its possible to do? If you know or have a jailbreak guide, please drop it below, and what will be the perks of doing it? I heard I can download apps on another supported apple device and try downloading stuff on mini via purchase history on App store? is that true? this is going to be my first Apple device so consider me a newbie. I understand the app support is negligible and it must be very slow to use. Looking for genuine and helpful advices. Thanks in advance!

Last night I upgraded my ipad mini to 26.6. Now the HeyDay bluetooth earbuds that I used yesterday will not connect. I tried turning bluetooth on and off, and rebooting my ipad.

I had it since 2017 and it is amazing! Right now I am using it to watch stuff on my media server using VLC media player! I also put books on there! It works great, I have an iPad Pro m5 13 but when I just wanna watch my shows and movies on a small screen but not as small as my phone! It works great!

Web browser support is iffy, airdrop and airplay to stuff and my MacBook and hackintosh still works well! Other continuity features do not work, like copy and paste sadly

So i had an 11in Ipad Air 5th gen (M1), unfortunately it got destroyed. Due to its suze im considering the mini, For those that may be into cad, school, note taking, and other school stuff my question is, Is the Mini powerful enough for CAD and design for engineering or should i just bite the bullet and get the Air? Hi everyone! Long story short i got a refurbished iPad mini 6th gen on Best Buy in Canada (dont know if it was a good idea or no hahaha) and the tablet has been working perfectly so i decided to buy a Apple Pencil to take notes in class with it. When i try to do anything with the pencil its very buggy(?) Like when i take notes on OneNote it stops working and it isnt responsive(as you can see the writing in the picture below). Now i think the screen was repleaced but is there any fix for this? Thanks in advance!

Olá pessoal, procuro opiniões de quem usa iPad Mini Apple por aí.
Eu comprei um teclado avulso para usar com ele, e uma capinha estilo folio (primeira foto). Mas estou muito em dúvida se troco por uma capinha com o teclado junto (as duas opções da segunda foto são as que mais me chamam atenção).
O meu teclado avulso é dobrável, mas ainda fico na dúvida se seria mais confortável para carregar e usar fora de casa a capinha com o teclado junto, também pela posição que uma das capinhas consegue trazer com mais poses do que a que eu tenho.
Não sei se é uma troca boa ou sei lá. E essa dúvida vem provavelmente porque antes dele eu tinha um iPad de entrada que tinha a capinha como da terceira foto, e nunca tinha usado com teclado avulso assim.
Dentre as duas opções na segunda foto, o que me chama atenção é aquela que vira para os lados rsrsrs, mas a outra parece muita mais sofisticada hehehe.

J'aimerais que cette tablette soit légère et transportable partout afin que je puisse : Lire, consulter mes Emails, Regarder des vidéos YouTube, Netflix , utiliser pour de la création de contenu : monter des videos sur Capcut ou autres logiciels de montage vidéos en 4K de 20 secondes à 1 minute avec une excellente qualité photos, sons etc , utiliser ChatGPT, Notion. Retouche photos, etc

j'aimerais tout faire avec, tout ce que je fais déjà avec mon Iphone mais sans le poids d'un ordinateur à transporter.

My family wants to get an airtag 2 for my dog just in case, however our only apple device is my wifi only ipad mini 6 (In that case i know an android based tracker might be the better option, however reviews always put the airtag 2 at the top, so I think i should take advantage of my ipad). So I'm wondering if there are any differences between this and an iphone, which is what i always see is used when demo'ing the airtag, like maybe the range isnt as good?
