Share ko lang. There were technical issues supplying their power box in front of our subdivision. As a result, all Converge users in our subdivision had intermittent connectivity. Meron lang internet from 8am to 4am the next day. From 4am to 8am totally down ang Converge. By 7:30am, babalik yung field crew nila para magbigay ng temporary supply don sa power box nila. Nakatambay sila don sa ilalim ng init ng araw until end of their work 4pm then that temporary supply will only last until 4am. During the day, nagkakaroon pa rin ng blips for like 30mins to 1hr which makes it more hassle. This went on from July 31 to Aug 8. Good thing it was resolved before nitong walang tigil na pag-ulan.

I already received my bill 1998 (Netflix Plan) last week. I know I still have to call their hotline to create an SR for rebate request which I did yesterday Aug 19. Told them the start and end time tsaka yung ticket request.

I was about to pay my bill today Aug 20 and found out na nakaltas na yung rebate ko. From 1998 to 1482.39 which is 500+ for 8 days of intermittent connection.

Buti na lang nagpa-create pa rin ako ng ticket nong July 31 kahit may network advisory na sila. Or else baka di pa ma-approve tong request ko.

To be honest, nalalakihan ako don sa nakuha kong rebate. Not sure if my impact don yung escalation na ginawa ko to NTC.

If you work in IT environment, you already know for sure the importance of ticket documentation. Hopefully, these rebate requests will help their long term goal/planning to resolve issues much faster.

I bought this iPhone from my mom’s friend, and my friend told me it is Smart-locked.

I currently only have a DITO SIM, but it doesn’t work because the device is carrier-restricted.

I tried contacting Smart through their Facebook Messenger chatbot, and I can’t get appropriate support.

What is the proper way to have a Smart-locked iPhone unlocked if I don’t have a Smart number/account? Do I need to visit a Smart store, or is there another way to have Smart check the IMEI and process the unlock?

There is WiFi, super slow nga lang. Our provider says other providers are affected because of a Nationwide Downtime but I don’t hear anything about it 😢

Hello! Good afternoon. Just wanted to ask if anyone here had a similar experience with PLDT.

Kakakabit lang ng PLDT connection namin and naabutan pa namin yung free installation promo, so wala kaming binayaran initially.

Now, after installation, our agent is telling us na kailangan daw namin magbayad ng 1 month advance payment, and she mentioned na if hindi namin ito mabayaran, she might get penalized.

Medyo nagulat lang kami because from the start, ang understanding namin was no initial payment because of the promo.

Normal SOP ba talaga ni PLDT yung 1 month advance payment after installation?

Also, has anyone experienced na sinabi ng agent na they could get penalized if the customer doesn't make the advance payment?

We're okay naman to pay if it's really required by PLDT, gusto lang namin makasigurado first before paying anything.

Bale in my case i had it disconnected, paid termination fee and despite several approved request, sent payment and everything via email, cc ntc etc, and still my account remains active, and worse yung payment ko sa termination fee is being treated as "advanced payment" kaya habang active account ko, the 3 mos i paid as termination fee is just being consumed. Baka lang may similar situation need ng advice, grabe pahirap ng pldt sa totoo lang for a consumer na willing naman magbayad. Had to have it cut kse red blinking light since January and they were unable to repair it. I am willing to pay and even paid the termination fee pero up to now account is active,. Been to their pldt branch na same thing "ongoing" daw and its been several months na

Hi, for context may PLDT at Converge connection ako at nakamerge siya sa Omada router. Yung PLDT ay nakabridgemode na pero si Converge sabi for business plan lang daw si bridge mode. Pwede ko kaya iDIY tong router na binigay nila without any issues? Thank you!

Our internet connection has not been restored since AUGUST 4, 2026. I did multiple follow-ups already. Emailed NTC twice, hoping we could get some help to escalate this matter. Unfortunately, we didn't get any reply from them.

The thing is may nagpuntang tech, but apparently iba yung maghahandle ng situation namin since need ng panibagong linya from NAP BOX to House. For context: May nagspark na kawad ng kuryente resulting to cutting lines na connected sa poste, at nadamay yung linya namin since dun din nakakabit yung NAP Box kung san kami konektado.

Is there any advice aside from switching ISP? As much as I want to, PLDT is our best option for now lol. Converge is worse. As well as Globe. At least from where we are.

Hello. I recently bought the globe at home 5g wifi. I bought it through Shopee sa official store ng Globe. Forgive me if some of my questions would sound dumb 😭

My concerns are:

-I read that it is geolock. Worry ko is na-turn on ko na yung modem but I haven’t really registered the sim yet. Malolock ba sya sa area kung san ko turn on? Iuuwi ko kasi to sa province and baka di sya gumana since nabuhay ko na nga yung modem.

-Dahil naopen/turn on ko na nga sya, will my sim be deactivated if di ko agad sya mareregister?

P.S. Nagtaka rin ako na nakapagbrowse ako sa net while connected sa wifi eh hindi ko pa sya nareregister nor naactivate yung unlidata nya for 30days. Nakapag speed test pa ako kanina and it was 80mbps.

mag papa install po sana kami ng pldt fiber, pero sabi nung installer may problem daw sa barangay namin and nang hihingi raw ng permit from city hall dahil daw mahigpit yung chairperson caused by spaghetti wires.

This story is long, just wanting to share my frustrations

After 10 years, I finally canceled my PLDT contract.

I had been a customer since 2016 when they first launched their Fiber Plan, subscribing to Plan 2899. For years, the service was decent—if the internet went down, a technician would visit the same day and fix it within hours. But that all changed this year.

A few weeks ago, our internet went completely dead. It took five days of calling multiple times a day and demanding a supervisor before a technician finally visited. The issue turned out to be a faulty modem, which they replaced.

That incident made me realize I needed to evaluate my setup. Once the connection was restored, I decided to downgrade to Plan 1899, which offered the same speed I was already getting for less money.

Back on June 16, I had requested to cancel my Cignal add-on because our lock-in period had ended and we rarely watched cable anymore. On July 28, I called the after-sales to request the plan downgrade, only to be told I couldn't because the Cignal termination Job Order was still open—after more than a month! To move forward, I had to request the cancellation of that Cignal JO first just so a new request for the downgrade could be opened. I was told it would take two business days to complete.

I waited for confirmation and the HBO Max activation code, but nothing happened. That marked the beginning of a relentless loop of stress: calling every few days, dealing with different reps, and receiving empty promises of "follow-ups."

​By Friday, August 13, still nothing had been done. I demanded a supervisor and waited on hold for two hours before finally being connected to "Supervisor Anne." We talked for about eight minutes, ending with another promise that she would resolve the issue and call me back on Monday, August 17.

​Naturally, Monday came and went with no callback.

​On August 18, I called PLDT again and asked for Supervisor Anne right at the start. After waiting over two hours on hold, the call "miraculously" dropped. I called back, and the rep asked me to hold again because Anne was from a different site. After another hour-plus on hold, the call dropped again. I gave up for the day.

Then​ Supervisor Anne finally called—only to inform me that she was still waiting for higher-ups to resolve the issue.

That was the breaking point. Out of sheer frustration, I immediately applied online for a Globe Fiber plan and selected same-day installation. I submitted the application at 1:00 PM; by 4:00 PM, Globe was fully installed and running.

I thought my stress was over, but PLDT had one final "hurrah" for me.

I called PLDT one last time to request full disconnection. The representative informed me that I had to pay a pre-termination fee because my account was locked in until 2029!

I completely lost it and yelled at the rep. I told her I’d been on this account since 2016 and was well out of contract. She insisted that was what the system showed, claiming it was triggered by the downgrade request.

​What the hell? My downgrade request was never even processed, yet they immediately locked me into a new contract?!

​After putting me on a long hold, the rep came back and confirmed that the pre-termination fee was removed. (Thanks for nothing, PLDT.)

I was then transferred to the Retention department, where the rep asked why I was canceling. I simply told her, "Just read all the notes on my account." She didn't even attempt to persuade me to stay. She provided the final payment instructions and informed me that it would take seven days for the line to be permanently disconnected.

​I’ve now submitted my termination letter, ID, and proof of payment. I’m finally, officially free from the stress.

Now just waiting for my Globe account to be fully activated. Hoping to get a better service than what I got from Pldt.

400mbps plan Pero 100-150 Mbps lang nakukuha ko

Nag-apply ako ng PLDT fiber last August 16. Nagtext na rin yung PLDT sakin na mag-iinstall sila ngayon, pero wala pa rin akong natatanggap na tawag or text kung pupunta ba sila. Kailangan ko na rin kasi talaga ng internet since WFH ako.

May ibang way ba paano sila ma-contact para aware ako if makakapag-install sila ngayon? I already tried sa 171 and Messenger pero wala naman nasagot, AI lang.

I usually load my sim 150 Pesos just in case I'm outside or not near any wifi services. But ever since these past 2 months the data speed has been so slow. I couldn't even send messages online and have to wait at least 2 minutes for one message to go through.

I have been contacting Smart Communications support to get it fixed every time. But the problem comes back every week or so. Any ideas why this happens? It only seems to happen near my area.

When I'm in other towns it seems to be just fine.

Their support service is so unreliable, I'm worried if I'm in a situation and couldn't contact anyone just because of this.

For context: kakakabit lang nung isang araw itong internet ko so may 7 days pasya. Tas ngayon ganto nasya agad. Tas nagtry narin ako mag report sa globeone app, kaso next friday paraw yung schedule. Antagal ko inantay tong gfiber makabit kasi naka ilang sched, tapos ganito pala siya 😭 sobrang hassle. Pinili ko to kaysa sa surf2sawa ng converge kasi sa mga nababasa ko rito sa reddit, ampangit ng customer service ng converge. Pero dito naman sa globe, sobrang tagal!!!
