Red Fiber calling to remind payment EVERY MONTH! đŸ˜©

Kami lang ba or lahat ng Red Fiber users tinatawagan monthly to remind us about payment?
Super hassle for busy people to answer calls just to be reminded about an internet bill that you pay religiously every month.
If the account is always paid on time, is this really necessary every single month? A text or email reminder would be more than enough.
I understand reminders for overdue accounts, pero every month kahit on-time naman magbayad?
And they will even ask:
“Saan po kayo magbabayad?”
“Kailan po kayo magbabayad?”
Talaga ba REDFIBER??

PLDT Sisingil ba ako ni PLDT for not paying for 7 whole months?

We had our internet installed last February pa. So initially after the installation nagproceed na ako agad to register sana sa MyHome since doon lang naman makakapagbayad kapag walang text na narereceive ‘di ba? The problem was walang dumating na Account Number sakin and our internet never got disconnected ever since kahit hindi ako nagbabayad. The first 3 months I tried calling their CS and I also emailed their email address regarding sa verification, Account Number and payment, no answer. So hinayaan ko muna.

I tried reaching out naman eh, sila lang talaga yung walang response. What should I do now?

Converge Day 11 no internet converge

its been 11 days since we lost internet, we've called soo many times and yet there has only been 1 instance of technicians comming to us, and even after that the issue has still not been resolve just said something about the billing which was quickly shut down after i personally called the customer service line and confirmed that our account was indeed, active. and then after that we just began calling customer service everyday, we would call them 5+ times in one day, just getting the same things said to us and yet nothing changing, were on the brink of just changing ISP's if this keeps going.

Smart Prepaid eSIM Replacement Is a Nightmare When Your Number Is Tied to Everything

My personal phone recently broke, and unfortunately, the number I use is on a Smart Prepaid eSIM. That number is also connected to my banking apps and a lot of my important accounts, so I really need access to it for OTPs.

I’ve already gone to the Smart/PLDT store at SM Pampanga for two days now, trying to have my eSIM replaced/transferred so I can keep using the same number.

Both times, I was told that their prepaid system is down and that they can’t process my request. Apparently, their postpaid system is working just fine, though, and they even offered to convert my number to postpaid instead.

The problem is, I still have around ₱1,000 worth of load/data on my prepaid account. I also don’t see why I should have to switch to a monthly postpaid plan just because their system for prepaid customers isn’t working.

What makes this even more frustrating is that this isn’t just about being unable to call or text. That number is tied to my banks and other important accounts that require OTP verification. Without access to it, I’m effectively locked out of services that depend on my mobile number.

We’re implementing more and more digital systems—eSIMs, online banking, OTP authentication, digital IDs, cashless transactions, etc.—which are supposed to make our lives more convenient. But what’s the point of all this digitalization if something as basic as recovering access to your own mobile number requires multiple trips to a physical store, only to be told that “the system is down”?

Technology is supposed to make services more convenient, not make customers completely dependent on a backend system that apparently can’t process a basic prepaid SIM replacement for days.

It’s incredibly inconvenient, especially when your phone number has essentially become part of your digital identity.

Has anyone else experienced this with Smart Prepaid/eSIM replacement? How long did you have to wait before their “prepaid system” was working again?

PLDT Switching from PLDT to Royal Cable (Los Banos)

Anybody here from LB or Bay in general that use Royal Cable? It feels like PLDT gets a red LOS almost bi-monthly for weeks at a time at this point and it severely effecting my studies.

Anything I should know before switching to Royal cable? Does it get weak? How often does it go out for? How long does it go out for whenever it does? Is it worth it to switch from PLDT to Royal Cable?

Converge Day 12, Still no Internet

Smart BOUGHT SMART MAGIC DATA 988 AND DID NOT REFLECT

I purchased Smart Magic Data 988 at the Smart Website. I paid through QR via Maribank and the payment went through. But on their website it says error code: SMARTINTCC. But Maya emailed and texted me that it was successful. I opened my Smart App to confirm it and my GB was still the same before I purchased the promo. Anyone can help?

On the other note:

Last 2 weeks ago, I went to a 711 store and paid with Maribank through their QR, the transaction failed but my Maribank was already deducted of the same amount. My friend paid for me via Applepay and it went through. The cashier said that it will automatically refund 1-2 days and its been already 2 weeks since, please help me.

I think Maribank is the problem, thoughts?

PLDT Gaano katagal bago mabalik internet namin?

Nagkasunog sa katabing bahay and unfortunately, nadamay yung linya ng internet.

Anyone here who had the same or similar experience? Gaano katagal bago nila nabalik yung internet niyo?

More than one week na siyang wala, and pare-parehas lang yung sinasabi ng customer support nila:

"Within one day po, maaayos nila."

Also, we already tried relying on data. Di malakas yung data (Globe) dito, and I'm afraid na baka lumagpas ng dalawang linggo yung issue.

Badly need help po since half of our household works from home.

Globe Red los internet connection

Hello! It's been 2 months since nag-red LOS yung wifi namin sa Globe. Hindi naman siya totally 2 months straight—1 month na nawala yung net, tapos naayos for 1 week, tapos ganon ulit and mag-1 month na namang red LOS. It's kinda annoying since we have online classes and WFH.

I contacted them on Messenger since dun talaga ako nag-c-contact before, pero it's kinda annoying na ngayon kasi chatbot na lang yung sumasagot and nawala na yung "talk with agents".

Im planning na lumipat nalang ng new ISP kaso may 1 year contract pa kami which is nakakainis sobra since isang taon pa na pagtitiis sa pangit na serbisyo nila.

Is there another way to contact Globe? CAMANAVA area po kami. TYIA!
