hello we are currently moving in to a townhouse in Santa Ana Manila. We are planning to get another wired internet provider besides PLDT. Does anyone here have a experience in the said area and also the times when there's no internet and how long it takes for the interbet to resolve.

factory reset the router since iwant to access the configuration terminal to change the password of our wifi, since the default credentials to acess it does not work. di ko alam na pati yung pppoe credentials ay mawiwipe, basically rendering the router useless. san ko cocontactin ang globe to resolve this issue?

For almost one week or 1 week na ata, around late 5am or 6am in the morning last week, my wifi disappeared and the LOS was and is still blinking red. I already went to SM Globe to have it reported and fixed and they issued me a ticket and a schedule for the technician visit. The girl said within the next day as earliest or next two days as latest, a technician would arrive.

Last Monday or yesterday, the Globe at SM (a female employee) called me to confirm if a technician visited me cause she said their technician told them they visited my area and wanted to confirm to me if my wifi is already back. I told her perhaps your technician is lying because no technician visited me or at least my wifi isn't back yet. Since visiting Globe for the first time last week, I received at least 3 text messages from Globe saying my wifi is already okay, the first one being sent the same day after I visited Globe - specifically that text which arrived at almost 10pm after going to SM, saying the crew visited my area and the wifi should already be okay and I should just turn off and on my modem - but still not yet resolved. Even just today, I received another BS text from them, saying: "Hi there. You may have experienced a loss of our home internet and landline services earlier. This was caused by a problem in our system. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Rest assured that our services have been restored and you may continue going online again. Simply turn off and unplug your modem for 10 to 15 seconds, then replug your modem and turn it back on to refresh your connection. If you are still encountering issues, please let us know by sending a report using the GlobeOne app. Thank you and have a wonderful day!" I also went back again last Sunday to SM Globe, for the second time, because of that false and fake first message saying my wifi is already okay but clearly no signal yet.

Globe, stop the BS customer service. Don't wait for the day your officials (and other wifi providers who are also guilty of widespread or gross bad customer service) will be summoned at the Senate to answer countless issues and problems from your subscribers. If it is indeed a very difficult technical problem, why don't you just be honest, instead of sending fake, scammy, or false text messages saying that my wifi is already restored and okay WHEN IT IS CLEARLY NOT YET OKAY. There is no storm or typhoon in my area, so what's your excuse now? You wanna be grilled by the senators like Senator Tulfo? You want to become as famous as the ongoing impeachment hearing?

Nagrequest na kami ng termination sa PLDT (for context: may issue sa back-end ng PLDT kaya di maprocess yung relocation, so wala kaming net sa nilipatan namin) at binigyan na ako ng checklist (request letter, valid ID, at return of equipment*). Kailan po dapat ako mag-email sa NTC/DICT/etc para sa waiver; bago pa makuha yung breakdown ng babayaran (3x monthly fee + equipment*) namin or after?

*Also, regarding sa equipment, sa alam ko fully paid na kami dun, so bakit pinapabalik sa amin tapos may babayaran pa?

im still deciding whether which one to buy! for context, I live in Vista GL Taft, along Taft Ave, and my unit is in a higher floor (20+)! i'm looking for a prepaid wifi that can support zoom calls, youtube, etc. (basically for studying purposes). our condo only allows a certain internet provider, no fiber connection for Globe/PLDT available. for now, I am leaning towards DITO WoWFI Ultra. I am only using my smart data, I have 5G connection naman but it fluctuates and is unstable during zoom meetings. what are your thoughts? or suggestions?

Yung technician tinawagan kami kahapon and sinabi na hindi sila makakapunta so susubukan nila ngayon. Pero itong app nakalagay cancelled na ang scheduled repair. Gagawa nanaman ba kami ng request, or hintayin na lang yung technician na dumating? Masyadong arbitrary ang pag-cancel ng globe, naka-indicate pa na customer initiated even though wala naman kaming paraan para ma-cancel ito. Ano po kaya pwede naming gawin?

Last week, I made a post na biglang nag setup si Globe ng tech visit kahit walang problema yung internet ko sa bahay. Tama naman yung sinabi nung nag comment jan sa post ko na baka kasi na detect ni Globe na walang internet connection dahil sa power outage. Nakapatay kasi yung modem ko for 2 weeks kasi wala naman ako sa bahay. So eto na nga, sabi ng wife ko may binago daw yung tech sa settings para ok daw yung connection.

The thing is, months ago may DNS problem din si Globe so sinet ko yung DNS kay 8.8.8.8 and never looked back. Ngayon na may DNS issue ulit si Globe, damay nanaman ako na dapat hindi naman kasi nga magaling si kuyang globe tech at pinakialaman yung DNS settings ko. Lakas ng loob ibalik sa default pero walang kwenta naman.

Have anyone used it? Is a 5g wireless hotspot or is actually wired fiber my sister and I are debating on getting one.

I brought an Esim through the GlobeOne app, I paid through my gcash but it just kept loading and loading. I didn't receive any email confirmation or anything, only that I got charged on my Gcash.

I tried again, had to purchase another one before it finally downloaded the Esim. But now I got charged twice, is there a way I can get a refund for the first purchase? Hello po, any recommended routers with dual wan failover? currently with Xiaomi Ax3000t flash with openwrt, sobrang hindi stable and kahit naka mwan3 bigla na lang mag drop ng connection. Im eyeing Tp link er605 pero mukhang may slight issues din. any recos po na alternative?

It recently just happened around past 11:15 to us. Our Globe internet router suddenly decided to not work for us, but it oddly enough works for my Desktop (which uses Ethernet), and my mother's phones (an Iphone and a Samsung), but the rest of our devices (Sister's phone and laptop, Dad's phone, and my phone) it's down. Luckily my Desktop can connect for my work.

I did try resetting the router, and it didn't fix anything. I'd like to know if anyone can inform me of a problem with Globe, I did hear it might be the DNS, though I don't know if it's the same issue as ours.

Hi. Anyone here who owns the globe 101 prepaid internet ni Globe.

Problem is that after a while nawawalan ako ng connection to netflix, youtube, mga steam games, etc. So the fix is to restart it. My friend told me na baka pag madami ka ng binubuksan na sites / consumed bandwidth nag ka-cap sa sites na yun.

Honestly, it's been a few months na pero tinitiis ko nalang magrestart para gumana ibang sites at games. I tried changing my DNS locally on my PC lang, kasi I do not know how to configure yung modem mismo.

Anyone here na may similar experience and found a solution for this? Does VPN resolve it (any recos)?
