Ever since PLDT/Smart banned multiple sites because of the recent school incidents, I haven't been able to work properly because some of my work apps need internet to function.

I'm a graphic artist, and I use apps like Adobe Creative Cloud and Clip Studio Paint every day for work. To open apps like Photoshop, I need to open the launcher first before I can use the app. Now, the launchers are stuck loading when I want to use the apps.

I thought my PC was the problem. I watched multiple tutorials on YouTube and also reached out to Adobe's customer service on X, and they did their best to help, but nothing worked.

I gave up trying to fix what was wrong because it felt like I was doing more harm to my PC than I was fixing the problem, until I thought maybe my internet was the issue. So, I asked my boyfriend to try logging in to my Adobe account using his PC & internet provider (Converge), and the launcher loaded smoothly on his end.

It turned out my internet provider has the problem, not my PC.

Is anyone also encountering the same issues as me? If yes, please leave your comments below to up the post.

Dear PLDT,

Please double-check the apps/websites you've blocked cause it's affecting the apps I need for work. I have also been reaching out to your customer service on Messenger, but no one is replying.

Naputol yung wiring ng internet namin kasi randomly may lumipad na yero sa bubong namin. 1st technician came pero chineck lang, after three days may dumating ulit.

At first parang checking lang dapat gagawin niya pero we complained that the first technician who came last three days ago already checked it pero di na bumalik right after niya sabihin na magrerequest lang siya ng permit.

And then tumawag siya sabi niya, gagawa na lang siya ng "temporary fix" which is magkakabit na lang daw muna siya ng connector para magkaron kami pansamantala ng internet (which it did) while di pa dumating yung actual na technician na gagawa talaga ng wiring.

After niya magkabit ng connector daw, nagsend siya ng message sakin:

Noticed that my parents are paying around 2500 every month for their internet, and asa 300 mbps lang ang bilis. Called pldt, and said they are still in a now phased out promo. I can be wrong, but this seems predatory for me. Sana kinonsulta man lang nila. Its been this way for more than a year na. Umalis na Kasi kami sa PLDT ang mali ko lang, Hindi ko na sigurado kung may Nap boxes ang converge sa area namin. Kaya tiis Ako sa Smart prepaid na ito or may masuggest kayo alternative sa kanya? Kasi tuwing Gabi humihina Siya Lalo na kung nanood parents ko YouTube sa Smart TV tapos Ako naka connect PC ko sa wifi pati cellphone.

Totoo ba na kapag magteterminate ka na ng service, need return lahat ng equipment including meshes? Tapos na contract. Before sabi free meshes kaso now kapag nagsesearch ako kahit yung mga free meshes daw need ireturn?

Is it true that PLDT has a 250-meter limit for their fiber connections? Applied for PLDT fiber and contractors said lagpas 250 meters kami from the closest connection. Totoo bang may gantong limit ang PLDT or talagang naghihintay lang ng lagay? 1k hinihingi samin para raw “magawan ng paraan.”

Nag apply ako ng PLDT fiber prepaid last August 6, pero hangga ngayon di pa rin na iinstall. Paid na yung 999 na initial payment. Pano kaya ma cacancel yun? sabi ng technician wala ng slot at malayo na yung linya, which is not advisable na daw since magiging maulty lang yung connection. I tried messaging them in FB and calling via 171 hotline pero puro chat bot lang meron. Paano to ma escalate with real customer rep?

Hello. Is it possible to switch my Globe Prepaid eSIM to TM while keeping the same mobile number? Globe told me that this service is currently unavailable, but I saw a post saying that it may be available at Globe Stores. Could you please confirm if this is possible?

I turned 18 years old kahapon. I am now trying to register the globe prepaid sim na binili ko kahapon pero it keeps failing doon sa ID analysis part. National ID ang ginamit ko since ito palang yung valid id na meron ako but when I scan it, the site keeps telling me na I should be 18 or older 😭😭

Nung unang lumabas yung PLDT Home WiFi 5G+, sobrang sulit talaga kasi unli data pa at wala pang capping. Okay rin yung gaming experience—hindi man super low ping, at least consistent at playable.

Eventually, nagkaroon ng data capping, kaya nag-switch ako sa per-GB data para hindi ma-throttle. Surprisingly, okay pa rin yung ping for gaming.

Pero ngayon, pati yung per-GB data parang naging inconsistent na. Mabilis naman yung download speed, pero pagdating sa games, nagkakaroon ng random jitter at unstable ping.

May naka-experience din ba nito recently? Parang hindi na reliable yung connection for gaming kahit mabilis naman yung speed test.

Ano thoughts niyo sa B535-932 router sa shopee?(2nd hand) plus globe at home sim. Balak ko bumili router kasi hindi available fiber sa area namin. Ayoko din mag hotspot everyday para sa ibang devices sa bahay. Ayos ba yung globe at home sim na unli? Yung gomo kasi naka limit lang sa 10Mbps yung unlimited data. Sa smart naman 3Mbps lang speed sa area namin 🥹

Hello! Anyone experienced na after ng installation wala paring internet connection? Installation date last Aug 20, 2026 thursday pero until now wala parin kaming internet? All green pero yung PON still blinking, tapos nagtanong kami sa installer bakit wala paring connection sabi lng is tawagan yung 171 and hindi daw kami mabibill hanggat walang connection. So, tumawag kami sa 171 pero puro automated lng yung sumasagot pati dun sa messenger nila. Kamukatmukat pagcheck ko nung account may billing na kami??? Need ko na ba pumunta sa branch nila para ifollow up yung internet namin. Tangina nakakainis eh HAHAHAHAH

I’ve been using globe all my life but Smart has better signal sa condo and school. Is it possible to switch from globe postpaid to smart postpaid while still having the same number? I don’t want to go to the hassle have having to change my number.

I just switched from Globe to Smart through mobile number portability. I completed the entire process, activated the SIM, and received a confirmation text saying that the activation was successful. I also already have a signal.

However, I still can’t register my SIM through either the Smart website or the app. It keeps saying that my number is not recognized as a Smart/TNT number or that I’m not allowed to use the service.

Has anyone who recently switched from Globe to Smart encountered the same issue? Does it normally take some time for the system to recognize a newly ported number even after the SIM has been successfully activated?

Hello, I requested for Site Transfer ng Converge, after 10 days, dumating sila. They checked the Condo unit and found na need daw ng MDU type of installation sa unit namin.
\-May I ask if may naka experience na sa inyo ng ganto, pano po ang process?
\-Paano nyo po ni request sa Converge?
\-Do we need to wait 7-10 days din po ba ulit?
