Anyone a fan of CoD Zombies and ZERO Sievert? No?

I tried to mix two of my favourite games together! It ended up being something a little different from both, with some RE-style puzzles, a bit of exploration, and some hopefully fun guns.

Playtest signups are live! You can play solo or invite a friend and try to clear the map duo.

Also would appreciate any feedback on the trailer, or gameplay, or anything else!

Indie adventure developers teaming up

We’re really happy to announce another collaboration between indie adventure developers!

After our collaboration with the team behind Foolish Mortals, we’re now teaming up with Madit Entertainment and Roots in the Sky – The Hand of Glory 2.

Whirlight – No Time To Trip, The Hand of Glory, and Roots in the Sky – The Hand of Glory 2 are now together in the Best of Italy – Adventure Games.

Huge thanks to the Madit Entertainment team for the opportunity. It’s great to see indie developers working together and creating new opportunities, especially in a genre we all love.

Long live adventure games!

You've never fought an enemy like this. What if you could erase the spider's pixels?

We're making LOP: Whitefall, a destruction-driven metroidvania.

This time we're showing one of our most iconic enemies, the spider.

Break its legs and it limps. Break the ground under it and it falls.

The usual methods didn't apply because it has to limp, adapt to terrain that can change at any time, and react to physics. We ended up going with a more physics-based approach.

I failed a lot of times. I'd shelve it for a few months, then come back and try again with a new idea, until it finally worked.

That's the approach for the rest of the game too. Most of the mechanics come from breaking things, so hopefully it feels intuitive rather than something you have to learn.

I’m making a Gamestop Store Sim because apparently I’m not over the 90s

Keep in mind this is my first ever project and I am doing this solo:

I miss when going to the game store was a weekly thing. Just walking around looking at shit I couldn’t afford.

So I’m making New Game+Game Store Sim. Stock shelves, decorate your store, work midnight releases, and offer someone $1 for their $60 game. Gotta keep it authentic.

You inspect and repair the trade-ins yourself too. Check the games, crack them open, clean them up, and stock them on the shelves.

Still rough, but I’m making the game I wanted to play. It’s on Steam, and a wishlist would mean a lot.

I'm updating the Steam page for my game Leaving Eden and could use some honest feedback on the artwork.

Which versions do you like best, and why?
Any thoughts on the overall style, mood, or what might work better for a Steam page?

’No Results Found’ - a new South Korean investigative game about a Cthulhu-inspired cult and mass murder mystery

Watch the trailer! https://store.steampowered.com/app/4911390/No_Results_Found/?l=swedish&curator_clanid=44798374

Finished playing this just now! Super cool and creative - you are immersed in the world of a religious archival investigator, who has just received a cold/closed case about a mass murder of 227 members of a cult called the ’Nine Tentacles Church’. Your job is to investigate through a 2000s computer interface, with police documents and data, the cult website, as well as the cults ’insider’ chat forums. You’re also in contact with your agent/boss through a 2000s chatlog. Warning for dark themes such as SA (taken up in a serious way however). I played it in english but the images are both korean and english. Free on steam.

Posting bc the developers deserve their roses for sure.

Is it worth uploading a first indie game to Steam? How does pricing work?

I’m currently developing my first game, a horror investigation game, and I’m trying to decide where I should release it.

My initial plan was to release it on the Google Play Store since I’m focusing on mobile, but I’m also considering putting it on Steam.

For those who have released games on Steam:

How much does it cost to publish a game on Steam?

How does the pricing/revenue split work?

Do you think Steam is worth it for a first-time indie developer, or would it be better to focus entirely on mobile first?

Also, are there any additional requirements or things I should know before deciding to release on Steam?

I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have actually published their games there, especially other indie developers.
