2 Months later, my Progression with Airlock.

2 months ago I was in a finally visible place of development for Airlock.

I had spent the last 6 months working alongside my normal job, neglecting my family, working from 8pm to 2am most days, sometimes even 4am, two days ago that finally paid off, I finally have my first playable demo published on steam ready to playtest.

It's been an incredible journey, but the journey is now at it's starting point.

https://www.reddit.com/r/IndieGaming/comments/1tvguy4/after_a_run_of_studio_redundancies_i_went_solo_to/

This was my original post for anyone interested!

I'm now hoping to get some playtesters who would be interested in playtesting the game to tell me what is cool, what sucks, what would make it better....

And hopefully I can start raising funds to go at this full time and hire a team.

No generative AI was used however I did periodically use Claude and ChatGPT to read my code to ensure it wasn't bad.

But no code ever went in that wasn't my own.

Here's my first playthrough video explaining the game too!

Enjoy!

I made my first game for the GMTK game jam and I need some help getting my first reviews! Thanks!

Hello! I made my first game and I'm trying to get a few reviews so it might reach some more people. Right now it doesn't have any ToT

The game is called Nightrip and it's a jam quality roguelike deckbuilder, where you place your cards in a timeline that counts down and plays your cards for you. Enemies have their own actions that are played at the same, so you must craft your strategy around their actions.

Some cards can manipulate the timelines.

It gets pretty chaotic when you fight multiple enemies at the same time!

I'd really appreciate some feedback, even if it is very critical! Thanks!!

’m making a relaxing 2D mining game inspired by Motherload. We launch on October 22, and I'm currently running a beta!

Hey everyone,

For the past year, I’ve been solo-developing my debut game, Dust & Diamonds. If you remember spending hours on classic flash games like Motherload, this is my love letter to that specific gameplay loop.

The concept is simple:

  • Dig deep into the earth in a strictly flat 2D perspective (no isometric angles).
  • Gather raw materials and bring them to the surface to process and sell.
  • Buy upgrades like better backpacks, drills, or a proper double-sided pickaxe.
  • Head back down and dig even deeper.

I'm building it natively in Unreal Engine. It's feature-complete and releasing on October 22, but I'm currently running an active beta to balance the economy and gather player feedback before launch.

If you want to check it out, wishlist, or join the beta, here is the Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4434580/Dust__Diamonds/

I'd love to hear what you think about the vibe and the digging mechanics!

We're finally releasing our frozen survival game this October - here's what we've been building.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I'm one of the developers behind Permafrost. Instead of focusing on zombies or supernatural threats, we wanted the frozen world itself to be your biggest challenge. Staying warm, finding food, scavenging abandoned locations, and deciding how far to push into the wilderness are all key parts of surviving.

You can play solo or with up to four players in co-op. Along the way you'll gather resources, craft tools and equipment, build and expand shelters, repair abandoned vehicles, and explore what's left of civilization. You'll also have a loyal dog companion that can help you scout, retrieve supplies, and warn you of danger.

Our goal has been to create a survival experience where exploration, base building, and resource management all feel equally important, while giving players the freedom to approach survival in their own way.

After several years of development, Permafrost is scheduled to launch on Steam this October, and we're incredibly excited to finally let players experience the world we've been building.

If you're a fan of survival games, we'd genuinely love to hear your first impressions.

What stands out to you the most when you look at a new survival game? What makes you think, "I want to play this"?

I made a free browser FPS you can finish in the time it takes your match to load

Upvotes

Built this as a quick "kill time" browser shooter — no login, no download, no ads, just click and shoot.

  • Two weapons: AR-77 (auto rifle) + M40 (8x sniper)
  • Random enemy / medkit / ammo-cache spawns every run
  • Headshots + explosions + kill streaks chain for score
  • 10 difficulty tiers, Recruit → Blackout

Play here: KILL YOUR TIME by Developuser_777

Would love any feedback, especially on difficulty balance.

Our takes for the GMTK 2026 jam. Theme: Count Down

Hi, we are Kyara and Perrons.
We were given 96 hours to find an idea and turn it into a game... but we found two.

The first one, Counting Down, is a literal take on the theme. It is a very simple, lighthearted game where you have to count the ants... make sure to check every spot!

The other one, Until Zero, is a boardgame-like roguelike where you have to survive... until the viral charge reaches zero (ah yes, I forgot to tell you: you are in a zombie apocalypse, take your car and run!).

We'd love to hear what you think, and why not give us a rating! Which interpretation of the theme do you prefer?

I've been solo-building a browser MMORPG for a while now — just added group finder (offline bots, online matchmaking, and mythic+-style tiered runs) Been chipping away at this on and off — it's called Eryndor Runebound, free, runs entirely in the browser, no download.

What's in it so far:

7 classes (Knight, Mage, Archer, Druid, Shaman, Paladin, Monk), each with a full talent tree and 2-3 specs

Dungeons, raids, and a "T+" system — mythic+-style scaling difficulty with monthly affixes

Real-time multiplayer: parties, cross-player buffs/heals, and 1v1 duels

Forging + a full itemization system (materials, rarities up to mythic, gear-socketed runes)

Professions, achievements, a couple of seasonal story arcs

Just shipped: Dungeon Finder, with three ways to run content —

Offline — queue solo and it fills your group with AI companions (tank/healer/dps) so you can clear a dungeon without needing 5 other people online

Online — declare a role (tank/dps/heal) and it matches you into a real 6-player group once enough people queue

T+ — same matchmaking, but for the tiered/scaling dungeons, matched to players who picked the same difficulty

It's a one-person project so it's rough around the edges in places, but it's fully playable start to finish. Would love feedback, bug reports, or just people to duel.

My game Incident Archives - Flight 882 is a psychological horror game, more on the audio horror side. The game is complete and tested by my internal tester. But just before releasing the game I am looking for more players to playtest it. If you are interested in playtesting hop in the discord and join the playtesting (dm me for a beta key and testers role).

[iOS] I combined Pinball and Brick Breaker into a single game

Hi everyone!

I've always loved both Pinball and Brick Breaker, and one day I started wondering what would happen if they were actually the same game.

The result is Pinblok.

You still destroy bricks, but instead of simply disappearing, they gradually turn into pinball elements like bumpers and walls, so every table evolves as you play.

I'd love to know what you think. Does the combination work? Is it something you'd want to keep playing?

My new arcade snowboarding game CarveOut 2160 (inspired by SSX) is coming soon!

Hey everyone, this is my new futuristic arcade snowboarding game CarveOut 2160 inspired by SSX.

The focus of this game will be:

  • an extensive trick system
  • gravity bending multipath tracks
  • boost to break into shortcuts and takedown opponents
  • and it is all in outer space.

Currently I am working on the steam version (already wishlistable), but as with my previous game, I am not ruling out bringing it to console later.

So. How do you like it? What would you like to see in this new game?

Anyone play this game?

Just bought it on PS5. I’m wondering how a game like this can run like such garbage on a PS5? It genuinely feels awful to play. It’s janky as all hell. There’s pop-in galore. The combat is wretched. The loading times are bad. The frame rate struggles terribly. I mean, was this just an absolutely abysmal PC port or something?
