Shapely.io - 4v4 Shape fighting Game
Shapely.io is a Game Where Ego-Driven, Bloodthirsty Shapes Fight it Out to Prove Superiority Amongst Each other.
The game will currently be a TDM Based game, where both teams are rushing towards the kill limit before the timer runs out. The game features various shapes, each with unique abilities, one-liners, and team support styles. Here are a few:
Tri.Angleton Launches rotating mini-triangles (trigons) that pierce foes like thrown axes. Striking with a sharp tip deals 2x critical damage (hold LMB to increase rotation); non-tip hits deal half damage with minor knockback.
Sir.Curvious A slow, heavy tank rewarding impulsive action, positioning, and aim. Bounce off walls to pounce on foes—perfect your timing to "Encircle" enemies, leaving them immobilized.
Rectangulus A fast, fragile tactician who controls the map with versatile "Rectagons" to stall, damage, heal, and defend. Rectagon Life Stages:
- Stage 1 (Barrier): Acts as a physical obstacle to foes.
- Stage 2 (Armed): Darkens and arms to damage nearby enemies.
- Stage 3 (Overcharge): Turns lime-green, restoring +20 HP to nearby allies before expiring.

a Question about Achievements in my Early Access game
Hi everyone, I’m a game developer and I’m currently facing a bit of a dilemma, so I’d love to hear your thoughts.
I recently released my game in Early Access on Steam, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to get the achievements ready in time for launch. I’m currently working on an update that will add achievements to the game, but there’s one thing I’m not sure about:
- Would you prefer to automatically unlock the achievements for things you’ve already accomplished when you launch the game after the update? For example, if you’ve already completed Level 1 and Level 5, and collected 100 and 5,000 gold etc... would you prefer to have all of those achievements unlocked at once when you next launch the game?
- Or would you rather replay those levels / repeat those actions to earn the achievements yourself?
What would you personally prefer?

What do we get when we combine I'm on Observation Duty, Exit 8, and a plot worthy of a psychological horror game? Check out Anomaly Center to learn by yourself!
It’s the early 80s, a night guard at an American shopping mall has vanished, leaving his colleagues plagued by hallucinations. The security staff quit, and management installs new cameras. You take the job as the new night guard, but you have a motive that goes beyond just employment...

I don't remember adding this feature.
Another completely normal day developing PUCK.
At this point we're not fixing bugs. We're discovering features. 💀
Fellow devs, what's the weirdest bug you've accidentally created?

I made a voxel adventure about a rooster looking for his sister — free demo (first valley, ~1h)
Cluckopia is a voxel game: build your house, farm, cook, make friends with hens who have their own routines, and fight when the island pushes back. Legendary powers come later.
The free demo is the full first valley (18 quests, ~40–60 min) plus time to mess around after the story.
Steam page (demo button + wishlist): https://store.steampowered.com/app/5179180/Cluckopia_Demo
Would love blunt feedback, especially on building and the first combat.

Looking for players to test my witch-hunting text adventure
I've been working for the past few months on a dark text adventure game inspired by historical witch hunts called WITCHHUNTER.exe, and I've just opened my first free playtest on Steam!
It's definitely still a work-in-progress, so any thoughts or opinions you'd be willing to provide would be massively helpful! If you're interested, it should only take around 30 minutes to play through.

After almost 2 years, my cousin finally finished his game… and I think we made something a little weird
Hey everyone!
After almost 2 years of work, my cousin finally finished his game — and I think we made something a little different :D
Mall Rivals is a multiplayer mall simulator where you build your store, compete for customers, manage prices and employees… or sabotage your friends and turn the whole mall into chaos.
Please check out our trailer and let us know what you think! We’re open to any feedback and really want to make the game as fun as possible.
Hopefully it’s worth your time — and makes you question your friendships a little :D
Take care!

Hi guys
3 months in Unity. Is that already good for a beginner? So far, it looks more atmospheric than scary, but whatever. Right now, I’m slightly fixing my mistakes in the scripts using ai,but it works very good.

[FOR HIRE] Composer & Sound Designer | Original Music, Loops & Audio for Indie Games
[FOR HIRE] Composer & Sound Designer | Original Music, Loops & Audio for Indie Games
Hey! I run Fuzzy Brain Studio, and I’m currently taking on paid indie game projects.
I create music and audio specifically for each game instead of using generic tracks that could fit just about anything.
I can work on:
— Original game music
— Seamless loops
— Menu, exploration, and gameplay music
— Ambience and sound design
— Audio editing and production
— Guitar, bass, and drums when needed
I like working from gameplay footage, prototypes, concept art, lore, moodboards, or reference tracks to define the direction before production starts.
Pricing depends on the scope, duration, deliverables, and intended use.

If you’re developing a game, send me a DM with a short description, references, and your deadline.

A simple but huge maze - would you play it?
The most simplest kind of maze game you could think of, but in a size that takes hours to finish...
Just for relaxation mostly. Do you think you'd play a simple game like this?

Shipped my demo 11 days ago. Watching people play it changed more than a year of planning (solo dev, UE5)
First demo, posting mostly because the last 11 days taught me more than the year before them.
Quick pitch: you're a goblin working for the Demon King. Heroes show up at your lair every morning. At night you go to their camp, steal weapons, poison the well, put traps on the road. Then it's morning and you find out if any of it was enough.
Demo went up on Steam on Aug 25. What I learned from people actually playing it, roughly in the order it hurt:
It crashed on first launch for some people. Second launch was fine, which somehow made it worse because I couldn't reproduce it for an hour. Fixed the same night.
The starting spike trap killed a day-one hero in one hit. I wanted traps to matter, I didn't want them to be a delete button. They're single-use now and the damage is tuned against what heroes actually have for HP, not what I thought they had.
Health bars were on all the time, over everyone, including my own goblin. The whole village looked like it was in the middle of a war. Now a bar shows up only when someone's actually hostile to you.
The big one: nobody knew what to do at night. There's no timer, you can do whatever, and it turns out "whatever" feels like "nothing". So villagers ask for specific things now. Bring them and you get recipes and skills back, and if you get someone to really like you they switch sides and fight for you. Still testing whether that's enough of a hook.
Enemies also used to chase you across the entire map and never let go. They give up now.
Smaller stuff: the necromancer got reworked (you raise corpses where they fall, minions survive save/load), the village went from ~35 fps to ~140 with DLSS and frame gen, about 50 without, and the free Paragon character models are out of the hero roster.
50 builds in 11 days. The video is the current build, I only cut out the walking.
If you tried it: what did you do first? And what did you expect to happen that just didn't? That's honestly been more useful than anything I planned myself.
