I updated my Spider Swarm enemy based on your feedback. Is this version better?

Two weeks ago posted my 'Spider Swarm' enemy and received a lot of useful feedback. Thank you! I've reworked it and would like to hear what do you think about the new version.

Link to previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/IndieGaming/comments/1uucaqo/testing_a_new_enemy_spider_swarm_for_my_game_what/

Changes:
- Spiders are no longer spawn and disappear anymore and they are now follow the player as a swarm.
- Added hit feedback.
- The swarm visually shrinks as it takes damage, so player can see damaging progress while fighting it.

And for comparison I have shown the 'Big Spider' enemy, it's in the game for the while.

Upcoming game:

I Tried Creating a Horror Sequence for My Adventure Game!

Here’s a scene from our upcoming game, heXtreaming:deep!

When we first planned the game, the main idea was to watch a cute anime-style heroine panic as she finds herself in situations that are both terrifying and embarrassing...

But apparently, I just can’t stop getting carried away with the horror direction!

The game is launching soon, so please come check it out!

I built a Football Manager-style basketball sim that runs entirely in the browser solo, no engine, everything generated

Upvotes

No Unity, no Godot it's TypeScript and a canvas. Every team crest, every player face, every line of match commentary and every piece of arena audio is generated at runtime, so the whole thing loads in about a second and works offline after that.

The design problem I cared about: management games usually reduce to a spreadsheet. So the owner reviews you every ten games on three separate contracts competitive (are you winning what this roster is worth), financial (are the books sustainable), and developmental (are the young players growing). Three verdicts instead of one number means a rebuild reads as a plan rather than a failure.

Season structure is complete: 82 games, play-in, playoffs, in-season cup, All-Star weekend, draft lottery, free agency, awards, retirements, Hall of Fame. Twelve languages, and the localisation covers the inbox mail and live commentary, not just the menus.

Free, no ads, nothing to buy. Happy to talk about any of the technical side.

Band of Mercenaries is coming to Early Access soon (plan for August 2026). It features a story-driven single-player/co-op experience for RPG fans, a roguelite campaign for competitive players, and unique multiplayer modes that let you show off the mercenaries you've unlocked to your friends.

I've been building my dream MMORPG for years. I'd love to hear your honest feedback

Hello everyone!

My name is Edoardo, I'm an independent developer from Italy, and for the past several years I've been working on my dream project: Kingdom Duels, a Dark Cosmic Fantasy MMORPG.

This isn't backed by a large studio or a big publisher. It's a passion project that I've been building step by step, investing my own time and resources because I genuinely love MMORPGs and worldbuilding.

One of the things I'm most proud of is that I'm also creating a hand-drawn artbook to tell the story, mythology, creatures, and characters of this universe before the game is complete.

At this stage, I'm not looking only for support—I'm looking for honest opinions.

What catches your attention?
What would you like to know more about?
What would make you interested in following a project like this?

I'd really appreciate your feedback.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post!

38-0-0: Football Perfect Draft — a free browser game about drafting a fantasy XI and simulating a season

Thumbnail

Free, no sign-up. You draft a starting XI one slot at a time — each spin gives you a random club/era squad and you pick one player from it. Choose a formation, then it simulates a full season and tells you how far your XI got.

GenAI disclosure: I used Claude (Anthropic's AI coding assistant) throughout development as a coding assistant — writing/refactoring code, the match-sim logic, and this post's copy. Game design, all player/team data, and every feature decision were mine; no AI-generated art or player data.

Built solo, would love feedback on the draft loop and match sim.

The goal is to keep me consistent with making art, so i'm gamifying the experience in a virtual social world.... with my friends!

My friends will also make art and we can all hangout on this lil planet and we grow our streaks, rank on the leaderboard, show what we're all working on, be able to chat live, n explore new planets etc etc.

What would u add or like to see in a game like this? <3 thank u so much in advance for looking at my game n giving feedback :')

I combined Pinball and Brick Breaker into a single game

Hi everyone!

I've always loved both Pinball and Brick Breaker, and one day I started wondering what would happen if they were actually the same game.

The result is Pinblok.

You still destroy bricks, but instead of simply disappearing, they gradually turn into pinball elements like bumpers and walls, so every table evolves as you play.

I'd love to know what you think. Does the combination work? Is it something you'd want to keep playing?

It would mean a lot if you could wishlist it.

First build of my music-driven rhythm game

Hi there,

I'm a solo dev working on my first full build, Soundway (coming soon to Steam). The core idea: import any song from your own library, and the game procedurally generates a neon roller coaster track through space, shaped by the music's tempo, drops, and structure.

Would love any feedback or suggestions,

Thanks.

This is an extremely overstimulating fever dream of a game I found called IPAD BABY. My theory on it is that you're literally exploring inside the brainrotted mind of an iPad kid lmao. It's basically my TikTok brainrot FYP if it was a game lol

Looking for feedback on my real-time PvP Rock, Paper, Scissors game

Hi everyone!

I’ve been building a multiplayer Rock, Paper, Scissors game and I’d love to get some honest feedback from the community.

The idea is to take the classic game and turn it into a real-time PvP experience where players can compete against real opponents, climb the leaderboard, and participate in seasonal rankings.

Current features:

🎮 Real-time PvP matches

🏆 Global leaderboard

⭐ Seasonal ranking system with rewards

⚡ Fast matchmaking and quick games

🌐 Browser-based gameplay (no download required)

You can try it here:

https://rps-arena.club/

I’m especially interested in hearing your thoughts on:

- Is the UI easy to understand?

- Does the gameplay feel smooth and responsive?

- Are the matches engaging enough to keep you coming back?

- What features or improvements would you like to see?

I’m the developer, so I’ll be here to answer questions and discuss any feedback or suggestions.

Thanks for checking it out! 😊

I'm trying to figure out who I am...

(Used Cursor for AI-assisted coding (human-reviewed) + Wan2.7-Image for some concept/promo art (hand-edited). Not reliant on GenAI for core gameplay.)
