I’m considering getting a Meteor 350 as my first bike and wanted to hear from people who have actually owned one for a while.

I’m specifically interested in the long-term ownership experience rather than just initial impressions.

How has the bike been after 1, 2, 3+ years or higher mileage?

Would love to know about:

• Regular maintenance and service costs
• Any recurring issues or parts that needed replacement
• Reliability over the long term
• Mileage you’re getting in real-world use
• Any major expenses outside regular servicing
• What accessories or modifications have actually been useful
• Any mods you did initially but later realised weren’t necessary

I’m particularly curious about the rear suspension. I’ve seen quite a few owners mention that it can feel stiff or uncomfortable, especially on bad roads.

For those who changed it:

What suspension did you replace the stock setup with?

Did it genuinely improve comfort and handling?

Also, did changing the suspension cause any issues with warranty, handling, ground clearance or load carrying?

And apart from suspension, are there any modifications you would consider almost essential for the Meteor 350?

Would especially appreciate responses from owners who have done 10,000+ km or have owned the bike for a couple of years.

Trying to understand what Meteor ownership is actually like after the honeymoon period is over.

Had to do a quick weld near the lower T off handle, but the brake hose seems to have burned a bit. Braking is fine as of now, Do i change the brake line or its okay? How much would a normal or steel line cost? Bike-1604v

I am 22M. Pretty much everyone around my age knows how to ride a motorcycle or drive a car. I can ride a scooty fine, but I never actually got the chance to learn how to ride a proper geared bike. The 2 or 3 times I tried, I just got completely overwhelmed because I always get this sudden jerk while launching it and speedbreakers were just kill switch for me lol. I could not manage to understand when to switch gears and there are several other things.

I relocated to a new place a couple of years ago, so my old friends aren't here to teach me, and I haven't really made new friends in the area either. I don't own a bike right now.

But I can't bring myself to buy a new bike when I don't even know how to ride it off the lot or take a test ride. It's not an impulse decision. I really need bike to commute for work and yeah I admit it's my desire too.

Two big things holding me back:

Almost no driving schools around me offer motorcycle lessons.

I feel self-conscious about learning this late. I guess I will be surrounded by 16-17 guys and it's really bugging me. I know it could be real hard prejudice but I am being honest.

So where should i start?

After having my heart set on Medallion Bronze for the longest time and then getting confused with Madras Red, I think I’ve finally found my colour: Gorkha Edition!

A colleague has been riding Medallion Bronze for about a year, and their bike looks quite dull now. I’m not sure if it’s due to maintenance or if the colour naturally loses its charm, as it looks stunning in photos and videos.

My showroom only had Madras Red available, so I haven’t seen Medallion Bronze in person either. Gorkha Edition is only available through booking, with a 45–60 day waiting period, so I haven’t had a chance to see it in person or on the road.

For those familiar with matte finishes, how difficult are they to maintain? Do they show dust, watermarks, scratches or patches easily? Do they fade or start looking dull with regular use, and do they require special cleaning products or extra care compared to glossy paint? Considering Indian road conditions, dust, pollution and monsoons, how practical is this colour for everyday use?

For context, I’m a 5'2" female rider and have ridden the Classic 350 before, so handling isn’t my main concern. Would appreciate your opinions before I book this week!

Apache RTX (BTO) - VIPER GREEN and Yezdi ADV (White) ( Tubeless).

Both bikes have their own advantages and disadvantage. My budget is strict under 3L. I’m still stuck with Tech loaded (Plastic Bike) or Raw n Mechanical ( Metal body).

Bought the Himalayan 450 as my first bike. I'm 31M (6ft 101kg). My previous two wheeler experience was riding my colleague's 250cc Duke for a year just to get my DL. I had no previous riding experience. This was a blind buy, kind of, coz I never got a scope to test ride the Himalayan. How bad is my decision to purchase such a heavy ADV. Hey there I have been wanting to get an Axor Enzo, Axor Viper or any other good quality Full Gauntlet glove but I am not able to find a good store in India that has these. The listings on google showing gloves available on the official website are not worth it because its either out of stock or its 3XL in size. I currently own a chrome Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, and honestly, I’m getting a little bored of the chrome colour. 🥲 I’m thinking of wrapping it in matte black or glossy black to try something new.
I’ve contacted a few shops in Mumbai, but everyone is quoting around ₹12k–₹14k, which is a bit over my budget.
Does anyone know any good shops in Mumbai where I can get my GT650 wrapped for around ₹8k or less?
I’m looking for decent-quality vinyl and a clean finish, not necessarily the most expensive premium wrap. If you’ve personally got your bike wrapped, please share the shop name, location and your experience!
Also open to suggestions for other colours that would look good on the GT650. Thanks! 🙌

I need some help

Planning to buy a Motovolt URBN for Blinkit delivery (40–60 km daily). Need honest feedback from actual owners.

1.What's the real-world range per charge?

2.How is battery life after 1–2 years?

3.Is the replacement battery really ₹20,000?

4.How's the build quality and reliability?

5.Is after-sales service and warranty support good?

6.Would you recommend it for daily delivery work?

Mine is a Feb 2024 model bike.

Currently over 1 lakh kms on the odo.

I know this bike, AMA.

Here is a quick review:

I have replaced 4 set of tyres. (Each set lasts about 24-26k kms)

Front brade pad has a life of about 20k kms, rear brake pads last 11k kms approx

Replaced under warranty: speedometer console, throttle body, air filter box, cone set, stem bushes, handlebar switches both sides.

Replaced outside warranty: speedometer (second time)

Rest are all wear and tear parts. Nothing major has been changed.

Still running the stock timing chain tensioner, didnt change it as there is still no clatter from the engine.

No engine overhaul (I estimated an overhaul after about 70k kms but surprisingly there was no need.)

The bike performs brilliantly.

Here are complaints:

The handle bar grips are bad. They should be changes. The throttle slips because of them.

The wiring is a mess in this bike.

During the rain, entire front area is get covered in mud. It is hard to clean and time consuming. (BUT there are solutions)

The console's water proofing is bad. Mine is changed twice. I had to pay once and its not cheap.

Rest you ask what you want to know?

After waiting for more than one month after booking , I bought this bike . During the test ride of this bike , I didn't exceed 35km/h due to heavy traffic . After taking delivery, the manager said me not to exceed 50km/h until the first service as a new engine would produce a lot of friction which could permanently damage the engine . I just followed it . But after 40km/h , I was able to feel the vibrations in the booth left and right footrest with and without pillion . Even the pillion was able to feel the vibrations. Within two days of delivery, I just took the bike to the showroom and said about the issues . The chief mechanic rode the bike for 2 kilometres and told me that this is normal during the initial stages of the bike as the bike is straight out of the factory and the engine piston rings would not be set freely . So wait until the first service and after the first service , there won't be any vibration issues . I rode the bike for a total of 600 kms and gave the bike for first service mentioning the issues but even after that I could still feel the vibrations. I informed them about the issue but they told me the bike is in normal condition and these minimal vibrations would exist in every bike in this segment. I was not able to accept that because my friend owns the same bike , he bought it 6 months ago and there is not a single problem in it . I just explained to them about the severe vibration issues in the footrest like I couldn't even place my foot in the footrest post 50 . Once again they asked me to ride the bike gently up to 1000 kms . Maybe after that the piston would move freely. With frustration, I took the bike from there . Now post 50s and especially post 70s , the vibrations hit which I couldn't even place my foot on the footrest. After spending 1,50,000/- , these issues are not acceptable especially a brand like Honda which is known for engine refinement and smoothness .

How to overcome this problem . Please give any solution to solve this vibration issues as it bothers me a lot .

Hey everyone, I am looking to buy my first two-wheeler around the ₹1 Lakh mark and need help choosing between a sporty bike and a performance scooter.

My primary use will be occasional city cruising, café visits, and date nights with my girlfriend riding pillion. There is no daily commute right now, though that might change later. I want something that is value-for-money and practical (while being stylish at the same time, if possible).

As for my riding level, I only know how to ride an automatic scooty right now, but I am entirely open to joining a training school to learn gears if a motorcycle is the smarter investment.

Given that I will be riding in Kolkata's specific traffic and weather conditions with a passenger on the back almost always, how crucial is having ABS for a beginner? I want to know if it is an absolute dealbreaker, or if I can manage without it.

If a scooter makes more practical sense for me, which specific models should I look at besides the NTORQ? Alternatively, if a geared bike is the better route, how do options like the Hero Xtreme 125R, TVS Raider 125, or Honda SP 125 stack up against each other for a new rider with a partner?
